Mike is one of the main judges on the televised reality talent competition “One Shot.” In the one-of-a-kind, BET televised competition, contestants perform before a panel of judges for the ultimate shot at becoming Hip-Hop’s next biggest star. Each contestant will have a chance to tell his or her own story but the outcome is not about who is the most impressionable, the winner will be selected based on artistic skill. Rappers may enter by submitting his/her video performances online. Entrants have the opportunity to win cash prizes and the potential opportunity to participate in the live auditions.
The Rounds:
Rappers will audition in front of a panel of industry pre-judges in the first round. The ranking contenders selected for the second round will perform in front of the Horseshoe Gang. In round three, contestants will move on to perform for Judges KXNG CROOKED, DJ King Tech and Mike Smith. Six finalists will be selected to compete in the final competition to win the $100,000 grand prize and a record deal.
