'Honouring Her Story' exists to pay homage to remarkable women across the globe. Providing a platform for them to share their stories. Join in on our conversations and let's together, celebrate their successes.
The is an episode that has been long in the making. Kylie and I had this conversation during a time when Covid-19 was not a thought in the mind of billions of people across the globe. Kylie and I connected for this conversation just a little over a year ago.
It is serendipitous that while editing this conversation after a year's podcast editing and publishing hiatus that I should find some nuggets of wisdom dropped by Kylie that prove to be relevant to our current Covid-19 era. Kylie has also just published a great article on her own lessons while busy dealing with her own feelings towards what it means to be in isolation during the Covid-19 pandemic. You can read what she learned here.

Please have a look at the charities below that Kylie had mentioned during our conversation. Each of them is doing amazing work and could use your support.

Tessa and I had this conversation when we caught up way back in January while she was in Sydney for the Sarah Powers Training, but our journey together didn't start there. I met Tessa while on 200hr Yoga Teacher Training in Bali last year June/July.
I was immediately struck by Tessa's calming presence and the ability she had to hold the attention of 80+ students on the retreat. This was a woman that carried immense power, the ingredients of which were made up of love, compassion, vulnerability, and caring. All sprinkled with a commitment to showing up as a leader for her community.
This conversation is packed full of insights and lessons that Tessa has learnt along the way to running her successful yoga studio, Power Living Adelaide, with her husband.

Celine De Canha and I go way back. 10 years way back. She has been and continues to be a positive influence and inspiration in my life.
Celine is a Communications expert and the Practice Lead for Energy at Hill and Knowlton Strategies, a global public relations and integrated communications agency. Listening to Celine recount the story of her early adventures, travelling across multiple countries at a young age with her family and her subsequent journeys and experiences confirmed what I had already come to know about her.
That she is a woman of deep empathy and compassion not afraid to step into the unknown to seek and understand not only herself but the world around her and how she shows up in it.
This is her story.

When Anastasia Adams agreed to be the first guest on the Chicks Crushing It Podcast, I knew that listeners were in for a treat. Anastasia and I met virtually via Skype while I was living and working remotely for The Neuroleadership Institute in New Zealand. We eventually had the opportunity to work side by side when I moved to Sydney in early 2017. She is a mentor, advisor, supporter and most importantly a friend. This podcast has been shaped by her influence. This is her story.
