Do you think anger is a negative feeling? Chico and Shannon discuss how we all
FEEL anger as some point and time in life because it is just a feeling. Shannon used
to have such a negative view on anger not wanting her boys to be angry or herself to
be quick to anger. They discuss how to recognize anger for what it is, feel it and then
know how to diffuse it so it doesn’t turn to rage. They also discuss how to determine
what your triggers are for anger and how to recognize those and then work through
them. A lot of unhealthy behaviors, including substance abuse, can stem from
suppressing anger. Check out the blog referenced in this episode at

Join Chico and Shannon as they discuss how to go about marketing a company and
getting direction from the outside and be open to a plan. We all can have blinders on
in certain areas of running a business and just need some encouragement to look
outside the box and take some direction from someone outside of the business.
Jamie has been doing this for years concentrating on the treatment industry but the
tips are good for any industry. Find more about Jamie in this YouTube video

Do you know the definition of restlessness? It is the inability to rest or relax as a
result of anxiety or boredom. Chico and Shannon discuss how we all get restless at
some point and time in life but we have no idea how to identify that is what we are
feeling; therefore don’t think we suffer from it. Shannon and Chico both realized
they struggled with restlessness. They also realized that both of their boys struggled
with it too. They discuss how to recognize restlessness for what it is, feel it and then
know how to diffuse it so it doesn’t turn to depression or substance abuse. Do you
need to get to the root of restlessness? Do you need to at least admit that you might
struggle with it? Take the challenge by listening to this episode and then letting us
know if you are one that says you do not struggle with restlessness. We haven’t
found anyone yet.

Shannon and Chico have a great conversation with Obie Bussey, the executive
director of ARM Ministries (Adult Rehabilitation Ministries) right here in the heart
of Dallas. We have a passion for helping people achieve a lifetime of freedom in
sobriety and ARM is doing that for the homeless population right here in Dallas. The
ARM program is for men only but there is a women’s program called WARM that is
doing the same work. If you want to hear about a ministry making a REAL difference
for men and women right here in Dallas please listen and then visit
www.armdallas.org to be a donor to help get them off the streets and back into the
work force in Dallas. You will love to see what is happening right here in the city of
Dallas. The program at ARM so mirrors the beliefs and values of Casa Colina that we
can’t help but let everyone know about it. For more information about Casa Colina
