The atmosphere is what sustains us!
If the atmosphere were not important, God would not have set it!
The Atmosphere I set impacts the growth I get!
Reading from Acts 2 we learn:

- UNITY is the Place of the Promise.
- WAITING is the Posture of Expecting the Promise.
- REPENT AND RECEIVE is the Pursuit of the Promise.

What does forgiveness sound like? “Father, forgive them!
Forgiveness says I can let Go! I no longer hold onto unforgiveness.

Where there is chaos, there is no Plan!
God’s Plan for Humanity is supernatural!
God’s Plan for Humanity is the Sacrifice of Jesus, his son!
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.
Why is it so important to believe in the Virgin Birth? The Incarnation!
We often become what we tell ourselves! What we value and what we repeat paints a picture of our beliefs and behaviors!
We live out what we believe!
Your Belief system is what you stand on. When you have nothing else to stand on, it’s easy to fall for anything.

Jonah prays in the belly of the fish! When you are in a place where you can’t do anything When you are in a place where you can’t fix it When you are in a place where you feel confined and restricted... PRAY! What Did Jonah do...Jonah Prayed and God answered!

The Choices we make will determine the path we take! 1. stay on the shore and never venture out into the deep! 2. play in the shallow water it’s a safe place I know! 3. swim out into the deep and Experience MORE
In order for there to be a Kingdom there has to be a King! 1. Who Your King is will reveal the Kingdom you serve!
There are only 3 Kingdoms you can serve! 1. The Kingdom of Darkness! (King Sin) 2. The Kingdom of Self (King Self) 3. The Kingdom of God! (King Jesus) Who are you following will reveal your King is?
- Jesus said...FOLLOW ME and I will Make you More! In order to Follow and Go to a new place you have to Leave a place! It’s hard for Jesus to make us something new when we are so attached to something else! LET GO! You can’t experience the Kingdom of God and still live in the Kingdom of Darkness! You Can’t experience the Kingdom of God and still live in the Kingdom of Self!

Jonah 1:1-16 Jonah the prophet...He spoke for God to the people! 1. Jonah hears the Word of the Lord! God is speaking, but are we listening?

Run Baby Run- Your Pursuit of Christ is a pursuit with Purpose in mind! RUN THE RACE! Run in such a way as to WIN! Our Purpose is to WIN! In order to Run with purpose – we need to know that we are made with wining in mind! You have within your DNA – The passion, motivation to WIN! We are designed with winning in mind!
Simple Truth: God created me to WIN! Purpose: the reason for which something is done or created or for which something exists! EVERYTHING HAS A PURPOSE! (The hole in the top of a coffee cup, the tab on the top of a coke can, the beeping sound when you get out of the car, the yellow traffic light - go faster)
The Church has a purpose: We are not the local country club! Our Purpose is to develop effective and productive followers of Christ! Our Purpose is help people discover their divine Design! Our PURPOSE is to BE the CHURCH!

LUKE 9:23...... its a daily act we make runs for publix, family, starbucks, etc. what you choose to prioritize is going to be what you live for..... -Money hope.... money will be your only hope -pleasing your family, friends, all the time.... over yourself.... your only hope is going to be fulfilling everyone else. -if your running for a career .....your only hope is going to be in that career position.

Faith is the most alive and the most real when FAITH is active!
We are in this race to win this race! We want the prize - HEAVEN!
1 Corinthians 9:24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get prize.
Run Baby Run- Your Pursuit of Christ will only reveal he destiny that he has laid out for you, your family and your church!
All of Faith is a response... Repentance a response, worship a response, holiness a response, Devotion is a response, SOAP is a response, Worship is a response, giving is a response, Praying is a response, all a response to Jesus and what he already did!
If there is a lack in holiness, prayer, devotion, giving, worship...then the issue is not Faith it’s our response to FAITH!
Sometimes it’s our response that stands in the way of FAVOR!
We do not deserve Favor – There is nothing we can do or have done that will merit God’s Favor on our lives...But GRACE! Grace opens the door for Favor.

Self Gratification is the opposite of Self Discipline / Self Control
- Running without a Purpose is an Empty Pursuit!
Simple Truth: We are all created with an innate desire to WIN! The pursuit with no Purpose – No destination is Empty!
- In your Pursuit of CHRIST, your FAITH will be tested!
Simple Truth: If we don’t actively pursue Christ, Then we can easily miss his plan for our lives!

Experience is necessary! Do something new... 1. Start Reading Scripture! SOAP! Start Soaping with other people! 2. Join a serve Team - This is your church! Get out of the same old tracks! 3. Give to Missions - 4. Change where you sit in church! (MOVE) Where you choose to sit will make a difference in what you experience! 5. Change your Posture! Posture is everything...MOVE! 6. change the channel on your tv better yet shut it off for a few days! 7. show up for prayer! The OCEAN, Tuesdays 5:30am, 10:00 am change the location and position of your prayer! Go somewhere with the express purpose to pray! Don’t just pray in your bedroom, or at church... When worship and prayer becomes so predictable it’s easy to lose your passion and energy – it’s easy to fall into the RUT!
- What did Moses do? - Moses moved! a. Moses saw the Fire burning! b. Moses Moved! He went over and he stood!
- The Evidence of LOVE!

A few questions: if it was a legend...The Resurrection! 1. Why would the disciples die for a legend... 2. Why would they allow a woman’s version be written about a legend. 3. Why would they go and spread word everywhere about this man Jesus that was crucified... 4. If it was a legend then why would they work so hard to get the word out about Jesus? Why take it to the ends of the earth?
Last Words 1. Jesus Said... “I am thirsty” 2. Jesus Said... “it is finished”
Whatever you are passionate about you will Finish! Fix your eyes on JESUS! He is the Finisher!
Passion Finishes – “I am a finisher, because I am passionate about my JESUS”

We Have the Victory--- THEREFORE Stand up - BE Strong! Be the PASSIONATE Church we were created to be! Jesus said I will build my Church - He is building a Passionate – Victorious – Overcoming – Church! We are the Church!
- What we pass on makes us STRONGER and what we put a LID on is what keeps us SEPARATE!
The Church is the strongest when it stays connected! The Chain...is only as strong as the individual links. One link can’t pull too much, but when you connect the links together - more can be moved. A chain may consist of two or more links. A chain is a series of connected links which are typically made of metal. When we are connected we can be useful for so many purposes... A link all by itself is not much good...but every link in a chain provides strength! Every link in the chain is important! If one link fails to stay connected then the chain is BROKEN! He died so that we could live! He did not die to make bad people good, he died to make dead people live!Sometimes you have to walk thru Something in order to get to Something! When we walk thru life-let’s not walk alone!

(DEEPER) Philippians3:10 Shallow- having little depth, empty (superficial) concerned only with the obvious or apparent, (limited) presenting only an appearance without substance or significance Question: Why would someone want to Be SHALLOW? Do you want to be shallow in your faith and experience with God?

God wants to Lead you to More! (A DEEPER FAITH!) Ezekiel 47: 2 Question: What’s in the Deep? Big things only exist in the deep.
Question: How do I get there? How do I go deeper with my FAITH? The Key to going deeper is your willingness to Move and be led. Philippians 3: 17 John 7:37-38 Step out...take the Lid off – worship, pray, pursue, and fall in love with JESUS!
Choices – 1. stay on the shore 2. play in the shallows 3. go out into the deep! I CHOOSE TO GO DEEPER! you can stay where you are and never experience anything new, or you can get up from where you are and allow the spirit of God to lead you to a deeper place in him! There is so much more Waiting in His presence!
You are in the right place...at the right time...for JESUS to fill your life! John 11:1 1. Lazarus was dead...and Martha and Mary said “if you had been here, my brother would not have died.”
IF...does not change who JESUS is and what He can do! IF...sets a condition in place for an outcome to take place! How often do we put the lid on our lives and say...IF IF...the conditions are right, IF the Feeling is just right... IF you walk around with a lid on, and you are not open for God to move until your IF is satisfied - then you will continue to walk around with a lid on an empty container! Take The Lid OFF! God’s plan is not for you to be empty but be filled!

Clarity...is the goal of any performance – it’s not volume, it’s not the amount of bass in the sound - the goal is to adequately communicate a message in a clear way! The Goal of Church is for you to hear clearly so you can respond clearly! Clarity in understanding is the goal!
- Clarity is found in Listening to the Right Voice! Recognize the right voice!

A Lack of Clarity is due to Hearing problems... How many Have been accused of having a listening problem?
Mark 14:3 And being in Bethany at the house of Simon the leper, as He sat at the table, a woman came having an alabaster box of very costly oil of perfume. Then she broke the box and poured it on His head. 4 But there were some who were indignant among themselves, and said, “Why was this fragrant oil wasted? 5 For it might have been sold for more than three hundred denarii (days wages) and given to the poor.” And they criticized her sharply. 6 But Jesus said, “Let her alone. Why do you trouble her? She has done a good work for Me.
Is there a lid on my worship? Lessons from the Woman that took the lid off! 1. What she did was unexpected! 2. What she did was an extravagant expression! 3. What she did...She broke the box open! She did not simply open it and close the Lid!
The Unexpected... That’s what got the attention of everyone in the room – - it was excessive! - It was expressive! - It was expensive - it was radical! - it was an act of worship! What she released is what Got the attention of JESUS!
Whatever is limiting JESUS moving in my life and church is a LID!
Take The LID OFF! NO LIMITS! 1. The Lid of Conditioning I will be thirsty if the conditions are right... I will believe if the conditions are right... I will let the river flow if the conditions are right... If the conditions must be just right for God to move in your life then, you probably will miss God moving! He never Stops!
- The Lid of Religion... There will always be some religious person that is trying to kill the JESUS in your life, if they can’t kill him, then they will attempt to put a LID on HIM! Religion puts a lid on your relationship with JESUS! Religion is more focused on the rules rather than the relationship!
Religion is a lid – Religion is more concerned about following a set of rules and regulations, Jesus came to give us freedom and filling! Religion seeks to control your experience –Jesus said if you are thirsty and you believe - come to him and rivers of living water will flow I will be thirsty if the rules are right... I will believe if the people are right... I will let the river flow if the conditions are right...
Jesus was not a religious person! He called out Religious people for praying loud, giving small and looking like they were alive but living like they were dead! The Lid of Religion will keep you from reaching the lost The Lid of Religion will keep you from serving The Lid of Religion will keep you from going all in! The Lid of Religion will keep the river from flowing! The Lid of Religion will keep you from worshipping in spirit and truth!
Proximity is all about your nearness in Time – Space – or relationship!
Can You Hear Me Now - if we want a proper response to what God is saying to us, then we need to consider our location and our approach to God!
Our response to sound! It’s one of our five senses that is sensitive and causes us to react to it’s impulses! Loud harsh noises are painful!
The struggle with our response has a lot to do with our conditioning! But our response needs to be a genuine response and not a Conditioned response!
Some of us are allowing our experiences to condition our response. It’s too easy to not respond the longer we follow CHRIST
“Don’t allow the conditioning of church life to keep you from hearing God!”
The struggle some of us have is the fact that we have had experiences and we look for the experience (the condition to be present) in order for God to move - rather than focus on the God who is moving!
You are in the right place for God to speak and God to lead. You have to keep approaching him - keep chasing after him! You can’t allow the conditioning of the past to determine your response in the future!
There is an attack on the marriage! Marriage is sacred, Marriage is Holy, Marriage is GOD’s Plan! When we talk about Love and marriage - we use Genesis 2 as the lens we look thru! A Great Marriage is God’s Plan but our decision! Love is a decision: It is not a feeling!!! Marriage is an everyday decision of LOVE!!!
- Love is a powerful thing!
- Love is the Greatest!
A Healthy beautiful Marriage is built on honor!
The Distractions are REAL! Don’t let your COMFORT keep you from 1. Jonah chose Comfort over obedience! God spoke to Jonah and gave him a mission! 2. Jonah’s Obedience brought Grace and Mercy! God’s plan is redemption - in order for redemption to be realized someone has to live on Mission - someone has to listen and obey! simply LISTEN and OBEY!
The Distractions are REAL! If we can identify the distractions, then we can shut down the noise and hear God clearly! It is very hard to listen and be able to grasp what God is saying when you are distracted by everything around you! We get so busy with life that the busyness of life distracts us from truly living! Whatever has your attention.. that’s what your are listening to! The enemy wants you to lose your focus so that he can capture your attention and in turn win your affection!
If we give our Attention to the One that is Greater, then He will turn His Attention toward what needs Attention in our lives!
Living the Dream means living in the Process! The process is the time between when you receive the dream and the dream comes to pass.
Greater is he that is in you... God said... I have a plan for you! He has a dream for you! He is speaking!
