Original tune written November 2014.
Another about how it feels to have come so far and be almost too far gone.
This is one that was brought to a band by another man. I joined the band in its 11th incarnation or some thing far flung like that and made some changes. We had fun with it and I claim it as part of me now because I have given so much to this song. I enjoy playing it as a groove. I dropped out a change and a chorus that was not important.
I like to play this one and loosen up!
Osti Goodman solo acoustic
A true story of my travellin style at the time. Written circa 1990.
Original Blues tune written circa 1988.
Its the way it was.
Word for Word. Note for Note.
Original tune.
This is another one about being on the roiad, travellin without wanting. Being without trying. Doing good effortlessly.
LOVE
Another collaboration with another writer.
Dropping the change and chorus again and running on a groove. Its a blues tune and sometimes I gotta play it...for some reason.
Original tune written at my home in Lower Alabama. Feeling good to be near New Orleans again. tHis is how it feels to have a lovely scene happenin there.
This is a revamp with chords I play on the 12 string. I am playing the 6 string here to take advantage of the late night moment with my buiddy at the cointrols. Virge is the dj this night and I get to throw new stuff by him without getting worried about the outcome.
Original tune written circa 1998.
I have been working on this one nearly 20 years. This performance is the best recorded performance since its conception.
A Billie Holiday tune originally. I learned som echords that sounded good for the song without killing it, I hope. I have been playing this one for 25 years
Original tune written circa 1990.
True story telling of my travelling style at the time.
Picking on this cool litte diddy along the way.
The whole story is a fun one to know!
Original tune, the first version. I cant remember when I wrote it, circa 1990 possibly.
This from the vault. Using some new equipment, I have been remastering some live tracks from the camera mics. This is from 2007 at Austin DeLone's open mic night at the Sweetwater Saloon in Mill Valley just before it closed. Things were getting good there with Auddie and I and the house band. The audience were liking that I was around playing and they are glad to show it. Believe me its not a brag its a fact. There were other times when the feedback wasnt so gracious! That is why we do this though, to learn and get our stage scene together. Really though the Sweetwater Saloon was awesome. It closed for 6 years then moved and reopened as The Sweetwater Music Hall. So I am back there now doing more stuff with Auddie. Here is a track that is co written with a previous band mate, arranged from his original writing.
