In this episode Sheena and I (well mostly Sheena as she cuts me off repeatedly this go round) talk about building and what it takes to build your community in your business - your team - and our biggest learning lesson that we feel if we had of implemented it way way sooner would have saved us so much time money and headache π€
Couples Business Confessionals- in this episode Sheena and I speak about just that the business of learning. We were at such a young age when we jumped into and on our first business that we were very naive to a lot of issues in business. For example I had no clue that I could have fought or bartered for a better lease rate. I had no one to school me on that. I just thought this is how it is. Same with price points I thought those were written in stone as well. Sheena also had visions of her own but was not yet confident enough to implement them as she also sorta thought that hey maybe things are just this way and should stay this way. It took many many hours, education, and just learning the hard way how to make it in business. Anyone who promises or tells you that anything happens overnight or that get rich quick thought process.... is probably full of s&@t!!!
In this episode Sheena speaks about the #fears that came about when the #universe provided our first massive life changing business opportunity! The road blocks we all put up in front of ourselves because we worry about making the proper choice - and wanting it to be perfect π- at some point we have to DO ... not just dream about doing - or wishing it will happen. As well the issues that came from those people around us who thought it was a terrible idea. At some point you have to know your why - because you may be asking advice from people who donβt have a clue or any experience in that specific field. In our second episode of the CBC show Sheena and I speak about our true first interaction- the meet - and how we both New not intellectually but rather intuitively that there was something there in each of us. π€ For me I was doing countless shows and opening act spots and was on tour so that party π life and meeting women was at an abundance but when I met Sheena I was #blownaway by her drive ambition and it was so refreshing and #sexy to meet a girl #women who knew exactly what she wanted to do with her life and was going after it 100% #realtalk. This is something we will be addressing all the time in this show- #women in power and the #gils who #hustle and how truly sexy that quality is. When she met yours truly she also knew I had my affairs in order at a young age but did not #trust my ways or image... take a listen π and see how we sized each other up.
