At Jesus' presentation at the Temple Simeon and Anna give us a glimpse of what a faith filled life looks like. Our final Advent sermon of 2025 from the series, Encounters With The Reality of Christmas.
Ordinary people who have extraordinary encounters on that first Christmas: Zechariah (Luke 1:5-25).
As Moses repents on behalf of the people we get a glimpse at what it means to be friends with God.
God shows to Pharoah, Egypt and all the Hebrews what it really means to take authority. He is the true King, the only Creator, and a loving Father.
Iain picks up where we left off in Titus as we explore what it means to close the gap between our doctrine and life.
How God took the chaos of Jacob's family and displayed his love and grace through a very unlikely candidate.
When the light of God shines on us, so too does His love. We have not entered into a deal with a distant god but intimacy with our true Father.
As Jesus walks on the water to meet the disciples in the storm He shows why He is way better than the versions of Him we might want!
Dennis explains why the feeding of the 5,000 is about much more than filling our stomachs.
John's biographical account of Jesus begins with the Word who was in the beginning and is a new beginning.
You are made to multiply. At the heart of what it is to be human is to be part of God’s ever-expanding and life-giving mission to the world!
We are all made to follow and lead and God gives us differing roles in the church. As we all follow Jesus, Iain explains how we work out how to lead and follow one another as a church family.
God has been so generous to us and response we want to be a church who puts their faith in Him to live generous and giving lives.
When injustice pays and God seems indifferent, Asaph helps us to pray. This sermon was taken from our series, "Out of The Depths: A Summer praying with the Psalms".
This short talk was recorded as part of an all family gathering with the youngest and oldest all together in the room. The kids in the room helped Iain ("Fluff") teach the adults two important lessons.
A big moment in the life of our church as we share what God has been saying to us about what's coming next.
It is only because God is holy, just and merciful that humanity and the world we live in can be all that it was made for.
In a world where division seems easy to find and unity rare, David contrasts the military leaders, Abner and Joab, to show us the way of unity. In David, we get a prelude to how Jesus would give us all an opportunity to be united in Him.
The first in a new series called "Devoted" from Acts 2: 42-47. Lewis shows us why churches need to be devoted to teaching and fellowship.
As part of our "Heart and House" series in 1 & 2 Samuel we see how mercy descends to us in our desperation and rises in us as the resurrected.

The Bible's first marriage leads us to a greater marriage, to a proposal and a union between us and Jesus.
The Garden in Genesis 2 was the first Temple, showing us how we were wonderfully made and made for wonder!
Busy and distracted? Genesis 1 & 2 shows us the God-given rhythms of work and rest we need.
Pete helps us ask the question asked of Jonah, are we really willing to let God change us to reflect who He is?
Our friend Mike from Hope Church Borders was here encouraging us to to embrace the great 'exploits' that God has set out for us to do.
How we are just like Jonah and why his new beginning points to ours.
Please note: This recording stops prematurely and so a summary of the second part of the sermon has been shared on our website www.glasgowgrace.org/words
As the General Election approaches we have a duty to engage as both set-apart as God’s people and sent as His representatives in Glasgow.
John’s plea to Christians: obey God’s commands, delight in God’s goodness and believe in God’s Son! Apologies, this sermon didn't clip as intended. Please skip to 13 minutes to hear from the beginning.
In a shadowy world John takes us back to our new beginnings to bask again in the light of Jesus.
Standing on the solid foundations of joy, rather than the ground of fleeting happiness.
Everything about the Land is centred around God's Presence, the same Presence that is no longer behind a curtain in Shiloh but in His people!
God's people find true happiness when in a the type of celebration that leads to godly obedience.
As God gives Joshua and Israel's armies victory with both miraculous speed and then slow perseverance we are helped to play our part in the spiritual battles for today.
Like the Gibeonites and the Israelites we find ourselves living in an unholy alliance, but God’s solution is a holy union – bringing us near and calling us to a life of grace!
Here in chapters 7 and 8 Israel faces a severe challenge because of their own unfaithfulness, but Phil shows us how God overcomes our unfaithfulness with His own.
As God takes His people through the Jordan we see that we can trust that it is God who has done it, who is doing it and who will do it.
Unfortunately the recording failed as Lewis began his final point. Find the rest of the sermon in article form at https://glasgowgrace.org/words/23/then,-now-and-always
God takes humanity’s biggest problem and reverses it: Although we have been cut-off from God, He will cut us off from destruction and join us to His glory!
As we introduce Joshua we see that God prefers to use people with godly character over raw talent.
God provided Joshua with truth, Presence and friendship and Phil helps us see how God has given that to us too so we can live in blessing.
Luke, from King's Church in Edinburgh, helps us to think about how we make wise and godly decisions in our lives.
Miracles of Jesus that help us to see His Kingdom is bringing new and fruitful life to all types and places!
If Jesus rose from the dead its the miracle of all miracles and we can trust that all that Jesus said is true. Iain looks at the evidence and helps us see why it changes everything for everyone.
