I'm Sarina Bellissimo. One of my passions is chatting to people & hearing their stories. When we know other people's stories, we can connect with each other & have a better understanding of the world around us.
"The Bellissimo Files" opens many files from different walks of life. Ever wonder what the real story is? I love to peek behind the curtain and get to know the real person behind the name. From people in Hollywood, to local communities & passion projects, they're all stars who bring some sparkle to this world, shine in their own way and I'm sure will inspire you to do the same.
Today, I’m taking a slight deviation from the Movies and Me podcast to bring you a special short episode. I’m going from the big screen to the small screen because recently I got to chat to one of the stars of Jack Ryan, Wendell Pierce, who plays James Greer.
Before this we came to love him as Bunk in The Wire, and, Robert Zane, Rachel’s dad (Meghan Markle) on Suits. I loved him in all of those roles so I was thrilled to get to chat to Wendell about what he has loved most about being a part of Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan; what acting means to him; and of course we couldn’t not talk about The Wire.

Baz Luhrman is one of my all time favourite film makers. Anytime I watch one of his films I walk away in awe and wonder. He is back with his latest masterpiece, Elvis.

Sinead has a successful podcast series ("As Me with Sinead"); has appeared on the cover of British Vogue; has had some of the biggest fashion houses design for her; attended the MET Ball; advised people like President Michael D. Higgins; and the list goes on and on.
While these achievements are impressive, what is most impressive is that Sinead in not only advocating for herself, but, she is also amplifying other people's voices and making sure we're all seen and able to shine bright. One of the most recent ways she has done this is with her book, "Break The Mould".
