As mature men we have a internal sense that we must lead, contribute, the contribution must have impact and when it does we receive reward.
God had created a promised land in my family and my wife relationship and the trust, love, grace and forgiveness was the HOW I had succeeded - god was working through my wife to be my superpower, we all have our promised land in front of us, it just takes a humility, maturity and faithfulness in Christ to sort it out.

We often times believe REST is JUST Sleep or "quiet time," but I think having hobbies is restful as well. Whether it be reading, cooking, or having a collection, I think God puts these things in our path so we do not just get rest of the body, but of the mind.
"Rest" is defined as "peace, ease or refreshment," "Relax" means "to become loose or less firm, to have a milder manner, to be less stiff." The Bible speaks quite highly of rest. It is a repeated theme throughout Scripture, beginning with the creation week.

Bikers Against Child Abuse-
Bikers Against Child Abuse, Inc. (B.A.C.A.) exists with the intent to create a safer environment for abused children. We exist as a body of Bikers to empower children to not feel afraid of the world in which they live. We stand ready to lend support to our wounded friends by involving them with an established, united organization. We work in conjunction with local and state officials who are already in place to protect children. We desire to send a clear message to all involved with the abused child that this child is part of our organization, and that we are prepared to lend our physical and emotional support to them by affiliation, and our physical presence. People need to stop being so "whiny" and COWARDLY and sit down with whoever they have a problem with, and talk it out, like the scriptures command. If the other party won't listen, then THEY are the one in violation of scripture. People can have disagreements, and they can agree to disagree. That's fine. But this running around, tattling, anonymously complaining, etc. just creates division and damages the ministry, and destroys your testimony.

What is good? I am a good person. You know I don’t have to always lean back to the Jesus thing I was a good Catholic in the past and I’m good now…
What is Good? wrong definition of good- the world would define good as what? Now I’m going to define good from a verse that Paul wrote to a church in Rome- what is good?
Romans 8:28-29-28And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. 29 For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters; 30 and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified.
Only Jesus is Good- everything else falls short of that standard!
Bottom line we are not good even on our best days and we need to be in relationship with a Good Good Father.

Do it now. "Someday" isn't on the calendar. If you're serious about going on that trip, taking your Mom out to this particular play, going to Europe or writing a book, then you have to MAKE the time. "Maybe sometime" or "when you have time" is never going to happen. Why is it we don't have time to take Mom out to lunch, but we somehow find time to go to her funeral? Jesus said to "work while you can." That includes doing EVERYTHING. Do it now, while you can. It doesn't have to be the tribulation period before we're not able to do anything. LIFE has a way of getting in the way. You have to make the time and just do it.

MYTH VS. REALITY
Myth: Successful people are just lucky.
Reality: Successful people use their natural talent, start early, work late, set goals, and keep getting better.
Myth: You can be anything you want.
Reality: You can be anything you are naturally good at... if you earn it.
Myth: You have to choose between success and happiness.
Reality: You can have both, either, or neither, because they are unrelated.
Myth: Work smarter, not harder.
Reality: Work smarter and harder. It takes both to succeed.
Myth: Following your passion is the key to success and happiness.
Reality: Success is the result of talent, hard work, and persistence. Happiness naturally occurs when you help others and grow as a person
Myth: Thirty is the new twenty.
Reality: Thirty is still thirty, and your twenties are still your defining decade. Successful people don't waste time.

Twitter is at war with biology. We were banned for saying Dr. Levine was a biological male. This is factually correct, and its not hate speech to say so. Twitter said we violated their policy against “hateful conduct” and that we cannot “promote violence against, threaten, or harass” people on the basis of gender identity. But we did nothing of the sort. We simply reported the news on Dr. Levine’s nomination, and then explained to our readers what a transgender woman is. But for that, our account was locked.

We reap in kind to what we sow. Those who plant apple seeds should expect to harvest apples. Those who sow anger should expect to receive what anger naturally produces. Galatians 6:8 says, “Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.” Living a life of carnality and sin and expecting to inherit heaven is akin to planting cockle burrs and waiting for roses.

With a heated election season, division over race and equality, widespread violence, and a culture where sexual deviation is celebrated, there is little doubt that our country is on the cusp of the proverbial cliff. Christians aren’t immune to the virus of division, with believers, often heatedly, squaring off on both sides of every issue. Unfortunately, the church often tiptoes around many of these issues leading to lukewarm believers with little idea of how to navigate this cultural crisis.
“Without realizing it, many churches have been influenced, corrupted, and softened by the spirit of this age—tolerance—which says that everyone can do what’s right in their own eyes, and anyone who dares come against that philosophy must be silenced,” says Mike Genung, author of the The Rogue Christian who is my guest today on The FORM Show…..

We discuss that Christians struggle with 2 main aspects when it comes to God: His capabilities and His character. We may believe God CAN but we wonder if He will (I know He is able, but is He truly good? And even if He is could, can I trust that He will be good TO ME?!) Or we may believe God will but we wonder if something might interfere with His capability to carry it out (ie. I’ve messed up too much for Him to give me an abundant life- there’s too much regret, baggage involved, etc.)

Broken People and Faithful God
Judges 2:16-19: "Then the LORD raised up judges, who saved them out of the hands of these raiders. Yet they would not listen to their judges but prostituted themselves to other gods and worshiped them. Unlike their fathers, they quickly turned from the way in which their fathers had walked, the way of obedience to the LORD’s commands. Whenever the LORD raised up a judge for them, he was with the judge and saved them out of the hands of their enemies as long as the judge lived; for the LORD had compassion on them as they groaned under those who oppressed and afflicted them. But when the judge died, the people returned to ways even more corrupt than those of their fathers, following other gods and serving and worshiping them. They refused to give up their evil practices and stubborn ways."

When tragedy hits or life spins out of control, there is no better place to be than in God's hands. I also believe tragedy can turn into a victory if he share our story. We all have a story to tell and it is also part of the healing. I am also a firm believer in losing self and relying on God. As that song goes, " more of you God, less of me." When we lose self we truly are walking by faith ( which is something I always put after I post on social media). I also believe when people hear about our strong testament of faith through the pain, we can bring people to Jesus, which as believers, that is our mission aka " purpose."
