We talk about his life growing up in Waitara, his love for all Sport, opting to go to New Plymouth Boys High School as opposed to Waitara High School, his time in Wellington at Uni & playing for Poneke, coming back to Taranaki & playing for Clifton & the time he played League only to be denied the chance to play in the final because he didn't pay his fee's for the season (it's a pretty heart story lol)

In this Episode of The Samson Says Podcast I have a quick korero with my Neph 'THE WEAPON' Taylor. It was the 1st time I had picked him up from Kindy since coming out of Lockdown & he was keen to jump on The Podcast again lol. Only after he had some of Uncle Ba's Eggies though haha.

We talked about his very unique upbringing, Life In The Oil & Gas Industry, Sporting Background, the loss of 2 very dear whanau members & the affect it had on him & the origins of his nickname 'Moshpit.' Toshi once sat next to a lady on a flight who after listening said his story would be book worthy. Hopefully this verbal recollection of his life to this point is a teaser of what that book might look like. We talked about the recent announcement that will see L.A.B headline a Concert here in New Plymouth, Taranaki at The T.S.B Bowl Of Brooklands on January 9th 2021, their sold out show at Spark Arena. the 1st Arena show in the World since Covid-19 Lock down which took place in Auckland on Friday July 3rd 2020, his time in Katchafire & his journey to being in the meanest live act going around. I had so much more to ask, but Ara had already been so giving of his time & I didn't want to be a hungus dude lol. Thank you so much bro.
