Living In Lama Land Podcasts is a podcast series about entrepreneurship, sports, science, social justice, and much more! The concept of the podcast is to give a voice to awesome individuals who often are overlooked but have amazing ideas to contribute to the world. Living in Lama Land is run by Stanford Student Roberto Lama, who is currently studying Bioengineering at Stanford. Many of the topics stem from his passions of surfing, tech, medicine, and public health.
Stella is an incoming Junior at Stanford University majoring in Human Biology with a concentration in brain, behavior, and neuroscience. In high school, Stella created Gravitation Color - a scale that measures weight without numbers. During COVID-19, Stella co-founded the non-profit Farmlink in an effort to reduce food waste in the US. They have already moved over 7 Million meals to people in need.
In this episode, Stella and I discuss her experience as a Stanford student, what motivates her, and all the different awesome projects she has worked on!
Jaylen and Kyler are both incredible student-athletes at Stanford University, having represented Team USA multiple times as well. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 related reasons, Stanford has decided to cut 11 varsity sports, including Men's Volleyball, citing financial reasons.
In this episode, we discuss his awesome what it means to be a student-athlete, why we need sports, and tips on how to reach your goals as a student-athlete.

Taylor Ruck has won two Olympic bronze medals as part of Canada's women's 4×100 meter and 4×200 meter freestyle relay teams at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. She has won 8 medals at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia, making her tied for most all-time at a single Commonwealth Games. She’s also the all-time leading medallist at the FINA World Junior Swimming Championships having won nine gold, two silver, and two bronze. In 2018, Taylor started attending Stanford University as a student-athlete.
