Mark Barber is the project lead and founder of ChainBois Web3 Gaming. Mark became interested in cryptocurrency in 2019. He saw that crypto provided users with a decentralized, fast & cost effective platform to manage their assets. He also believed that the traditional financial structure had flaws such as inflation, government interference, and was unfairly targeting those who couldn’t participate in financial institutions due to lack of documentation and other factors. After researching different blockchains, Mark came to believe that the Algorand blockchain had many advantages including speed, negligible gas fees and carbon friendliness. He became an influencer and NFT project advisor working with many projects to improve their visibility, use-case, and financial return. After seeing some of the flaws that these projects incorporated, as well as the lack of utility in NFTs, Mark decided to create a project superior to the projects he had been advising.ChainBois Web3 Gaming was born. Mark researched the best blockchain to deploy a Web3 gaming project on, it was clear that Avalanche Blockchain was the best choice. Due to Avalanche’s ability to deploy subnets specifically for gaming platforms he saw the ability to grow a gaming company infinitely.ChainBois Web3 Gaming will release its first game, a 3rd person P2E shooter in late 2024. The game will include a first class gaming experience, melding both the gameplay and aesthetics of Web2 gaming with the advantages of the ability to earn crypto, own and sell game assets on chain, and bring the power and earning ability back to the gamer.Mark intends to grow upon this first game and release other games in the future that correspond with the ever-changing Web3 experience

Multi-Award-Winning Author, voice actor, and photographer... split by fission, plagued by fusion, living with creative demons... Brendan S Bigney (Nuclear Cowboy) was a Quest Giver in the Marine Corps where operations was his practiced art form. He never slept, rarely smiled, and mumbled with the muses. He spent much of his life as a chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear defense specialist. During this time, he consumed tear gas like butter on toast, and danced in radiation beneath the ever-burning sun where the grass refused to grow. There is a time to fight and there is a time for peace, but even in peace the fight does not end. In the world of corporate power, they tried to take advantage of him, so he left. It was probably because he was radioactive. In a twist of cruel irony, the corporate powers maintained that they were family.Thereafter, he lost his home. He piled all his belongings into a mountain outside and by the time he locked the door for the final time, the neighbors scavenged everything he owned. He was left with memories, some like butter on toast, and some so dark it’s a curse to utter them.In one final push to break free of lies, corruption, and the end of the road, Brendan S Bigney, claimed, “If I am going to die on the streets, it’s going to be as an award-winning author.”With the last of his lifesavings, he went on to win several awards in writing and still counting. He now spends the remainder of his half-life mumbling with the muses in a place where the sun still burns but the grass now grows.u

THE ROYAL FAMILY OF SOUL
THERE AREN’T MANY FAMILIES THAT HAVE HAD MORE OF AN IMPACT ON SOUL MUSIC THAN THE LEGENDARY WOMACK FAMILY. AND THAT TALENTED FAMILY CONTINUES TO MAKE AN IMPACT THROUGH THE EMERGENCE OF CURTIS “BINKY” WOMACK. BINKY IS THE SON OF THE LATE CURTIS WOMACK OF THE WOMACK BROTHERS AND HAS MADE A CAREER FOR HIMSELF AS A TOP TIER SESSION GUITARIST.
(April 6, 2020) He is music royalty, there is no question about that. And there aren't many families that have had more of an impact on soul music than the legendary Womack family. And that talented family continues to make an impact through the emergence of Curtis "Binky" Womack. Binky is the son of the late Curtis Womack of The Womack Brothers and has made a career for himself as a top tier session guitarist.
Binky's career transitioned from backing his father and his uncle, Bobby Womack, to working with stars like Usher and Snoop Dogg. He has become a SoulTracks favorite, with every album displaying his killer guitar work and a sound that harkens on the best elements of blues, southern soul and R&B.
Binky returns later this month with a new album, The Last Valentino (a reference to his father’s early 60s group), and we’re absolutely loving the sounds we’re hearing. And so we’re proud to give SoulTrackers a sneak peek with Binky’s cover of the classic Staple Singers’ smash, “Let’s Do It Again.” Dueting with talented LA-based singer Lisa Love, he’s created a song that has us smiling and swaying.

James Prentice, 41, from South Devon, was sentenced to 6 months imprisonment suspended for 2 years, ordered to carry out 150 hours of unpaid work and ordered to pay compensation of £4,500 to his victims.
Exeter Crown Court heard Prentice was declared bankrupt in December 2014 and although he could continue working as a builder through his company, JSP Woodworx, the terms of his Bankruptcy Restrictions Undertaking (BRU) meant he could not take more than £500 as a deposit from clients without disclosing he was a bankrupt.
Despite this, between June 2016 and January 2018, Prentice took more than £271,000 to build a retirement home on farmland in Taunton for his victims which he claimed was for his services and to supply goods needed for the project.

On this show DJ Big Stew review his favorite games on https://plays.org/games/ the site where you have a choice of playing fantastic games online !!! About Plays.org
What We Offer
We are a site offering free and fun online games which can quickly be played from the browser. The thinking behind this site was since so many people are stuck at home during rolling lockdowns maybe we could add a bit of joy to people’s lives.
I used to love playing games on consoles back in the days of the original Nintendo & this site aims to pay homage to that era.
Today the gaming industry is worth hundreds of billions of dollars and much of the gaming industry revolves around hyper-optimizing design for accidental ad clicks, paid upgrades, and creating addictive loops – all of which are needed to offset the cost of paying for distribution buying ads in other games and on other platforms.
In recent years many gaming companies have went public with valuations in the 10s of billions of dollars including Roblox, Unity and Applovin.
This site aims to be prettymuch the opposite of those sorts of trends. no status symbols or paid upgradessuper simple games which are a chance for fun, but do not aim to alter your identity or establish addictive loopscasual games you can dip in and out of, many of which you can beat quicklyno need to download apps to playno need to register or set up a user account Check This Link https://plays.org/ or https://plays.org/games/
Dawkins & Dawkins have released their brand new single “In My Feelings”. The song is the lead single off their upcoming album “Never Gets Old”. The project will have everything we love about the duo as they’ve been putting out quality music in the gospel world for decades now. The project will also have an R&B feel to it as they continue to create music that will inspire people.
Many may not realize that Eric Dawkins has also been one of the most successful R&B producers over the last twenty years producing hits for Omarion, Marques Houston and Tank.
Nulli Null started his musical journey in Saint Petersburg, Florida while visiting his family in summer. As a teenager, he started using music as an escape from the harsh realities, and eventually found a way of raw expression in songwriting and rapping. Music helped him cope with stress during the difficult times in his life and now he wants to use it as a medium to help others going through mental health issues
While his project “Pourin Liq” was inspired and created after his cousin passed away last year, his project “Youngin Blues of Betrayal”, inspired his personal life, follows the true story of a young man learning to confront his trauma-induced insecurities about friends and family, while focusing on his desire to grow spiritually in St.Petersburg, one of the most violent cities of Florida.
With back to back hit projects, Nulli Null is rapidly paving his way through the Hip Hop music scene. Despite being a new artist, Nulli isn’t afraid to take a risk and explore musical themes that other artists think twice before choosing. His smooth vocal delivery and unapologetic expression of emotions into the lyrics make a combination that one can hardly ignore.

Shekenda Hill, born in Mobile, AL., better known as her stage name, Brazil Hill is an American rapper and R&B singer. Although the name sounds familiar to the South American Nation, it has no physical connection to Brazil’s musical roots. Hill expresses her connection to the name “Brazil” through captivating lyrics, extraordinary soulful sounds attached to her suave personality. Brazil has a powerful desire to encourage people to love who they are and live in their truth through her music. As a true artist her message speaks volumes to a life filled with many ups and downs while pursuing an irresistible journey to being an entertainer. As an eight-year-old, Brazil fell in love with music. Being apart of her church choir helped Brazil continue that creativeness through high school. She sang, wrote her own music and played the keyboard leading her to become a recording artist. Being from Mobile, AL, Brazil is no stranger to street violence. In 2007 her older brother was shot and killed in a senseless act sparked from a heated dispute. Several years later (2015) Brazil was shot twice in a drive by shooting. Not with standing life’s hurdles, Brazil has remained focused and determined, never letting her purpose be diminished. In 2017, Brazil began recording with top producers in the city of Mobile AL. and created her first mixtape titled “Sauce Law”, which gained her local fame and recognition throughout her hometown. Shortly after her mixtape released, in 2019 Brazil started her independent label Rich Point Music alongside her business partner Freddie Davis. Brazil also dropped her first single under the label titled ‘In A Minute’ that set the alarm! Reaching heights beyond her hometown buzz. Brazil now resides in Atlanta GA and the industry has started to take notice. Embracing the culture letting her talent speak for itself Brazil continues to garner recognition from various outlets.
For Justin Crowder, the goal is to make music that people will remember and relate to; invoking an unforgettable feeling. For his more popularly known moniker, JC, it’s about creating real music with a touch of swagg; charisma in the form of a sound recording! Referring to his writing style, he states, “Everything I write is catchy with strong metaphors, fresh concepts, and captivating melodies that stick.” JC is pleasant, humble, quite witty and even a little shy at times. He lacks arrogance, yet embodies character-built confidence. But one thing stands above all these traits…JC is a STAR!
With his hit single "For Me", award winning singer-songwriter JC, closes out #WomensHistoryMonth with precision. He captures the fact that every woman has an attribute(s) that just does it for a man. That concept birthed a female anthem that should make every woman feel beautiful! JC let's you know exactly what it is about women that he appreciates...from their intelligence, hair, style, and smile, to simply their overall vibe. He loves everything about women that makes them feel empowered, independent, determined, and attractive. The record comes on the heelsBeef Stew radio of his popular record and video "No Filter" ft. He has had a vast array of musical influences across all genres of music from Hip Hop, R&B, Gospel, Country, and Soul. This all culminates in Sir Flame producing a musical experience that is enjoyable, but authentic and grounded in reality. It is music that is infused with unorthodox music creation techniques to allow for an immersive experience that brings forward his story. His overarching ambition is to capture the ear and hearts of the listeners with his music.

Success came quickly for Murdock with the release of her gold-selling debut LP, Shirley Murdock! ... on Elektra Records. After her initial hit, "No More," stormed the dance charts, the tender ballad "As We Lay" shot up to #5 on the Billboard R&B singles chart and also charted nicely on both the Top 40 adult contemporary and pop charts in 1986.
A chance meeting with Bishop T.D. Jakes at a post-service gathering at Murdock’s pastor’s home, led to her recording "The Lady, Her Lover, and Lord," on his Sacred Love Songs, project in 1999. "I told Bishop Jakes that I always wanted to do a gospel CD, so when he launched his record label, Dexterity Sounds, he called me and said, "...here's your chance to do that CD.’" The Home project received a warm embrace from the gospel world and reached #9 on the Billboard Top Gospel albums chart in 2002. It was a dream come true that Murdock feels may have never happened were it not for her secular career. "I never pursued a secular career," she testifies. "It came to me. It opened an opportunity for me to take the gospel into the secular arena in ways that many gospel artists cannot.

One of the alleged Capitol rioters has asked a judge for permission to holiday in Mexico while awaiting trial.
The accused, Jenny Louise Cudd, made the request to continue with a planned work visit to Mexico later this month, despite awaiting trial on charges she took part in the US Capitol on 6 January.
According to court documents obtained by USA Today, the woman will not be able to travel to Washington DC, the nation’s capital, under the conditions of her release.
She asked a magistrate on Monday if she could leave the United States and holiday in Mexico’s Riviera Maya, with prosecutors taking “no position” on the request. It remains under consideration.
For nine weeks, London wowed the nation with her showstopping performances on American Idol. Famed film director Quentin Tarantino called her a "powerhouse" after her performance of "Somewhere" from the musical "West Side Story," Abdul said that she reminded her of "a young Gladys Knight" after she performed the Garth Brooks song "Ain't Goin' Down ('Til The Sun Comes Up)," and Cowell called her performance of Chaka Khan's "Ain't Nobody" as "amazing" and "awesome." Nickolas Ashford of famed soul duo Ashford and Simpson called her performance of "Ooh Baby Baby" by Smokey Robinson as "beautiful" and full of "sex appeal," Cowell announced her as "the best singer in the competition" after she sang "All the Time" by Barry Manilow and gave her "a ten out of ten" for her performance of "Don't Rain on My Parade," which also garnered standing ovations from Abdul and Jackson.
Nate Robinson should not have been in a boxing ring. That much was clear Saturday night at Staples Center in Los Angeles on the Mike Tyson-Roy Jones Jr. undercard. Making his pro boxing debut against one-fight veteran and YouTube sensation Jake Paul, Robinson had speed. He had aggression.
He also, very quickly and very definitively, got knocked out less than two minutes into the second round.
"You don't play boxing," analyst Sugar Ray Leonard said.
Robinson (0-1) learned that lesson in the most brutal way. He was knocked down in the first round rushing at Paul when Paul (2-0, 2 KO) hit him just above the ear. In the second round, Paul hit Robinson on the forehead to knock him down again.
Paul said he fought with a broken nose after falling on his face meditating and couldn't spar until recently. He said he is now going to focus on his music but added, "I'm willing to be patient" with his boxing career, and he believes he has a future in the sport. It's tough to judge what level of skill the 23-year-old Paul has, because Robinson had no experience. Paul said on the Triller broadcast after the fight that "he was better than I expected" and credited Robinson for stepping into the ring with him.

R&B singer Larry Dodson was born in 1951, and started his first vocal group, called the Temprees, when he was eleven years old. The Temprees went on to sign with Stax Records and record several hit songs, but by then Dodson had left the band to sing with The Bar-Kays and recorded his first record with them, called Black Rock .
The Bar-Kays had been formed in 1966, and by the time Dodson joined them they were already the number-two house band at Stax Records. None of the members of the Bar-Kays were formally educated in music, but that did not prevent them from being highly successful while writing many of their own songs. They sang backup for Otis Redding, Isaac Hayes, and other popular soul singers under the Stax Record label and recorded many hit songs in their own right, including “ Soul Finger ” and “ Son of Shaft ”. They performed “ Son of Shaft ” at the Wyattstax music festival in 1972, and were featured in the Golden Globe-nominated documentary Wyattstax made about the concert.
After Stax Records went bankrupt in 1975, The Bar-Kays signed with Mercury Records and the band went on to have twenty-three singles on the R&B charts from 1976 to 1987. The Bar-Kays’ music has been featured in the soundtrack to several films, including Spies Like Us and Superbad . The group broke up in 1993, and reformed a year later with Dodson and one other member of the original band. They continued to tour and write songs, enjoying a renewed popularity.
Amber Hairston is originally from Rocky Mount, Virginia, a small country town. She has been singing since she was about 6 years old. Ambers’ inspiration for music came from her family who were almost all singers or instrument players. She discovered she could sing when her & her brother were “playing church” and she began to sing. At that moment her and her brother both looked at each other acknowledging her gift.
Amber began listening to artists such as Beyoncé and Jazmine Sullivan. She loved to watch their performances which is why they have had such a major impact on Amber till this day. Shes performed for: the president of her university, high school talent shows, (where she won 1st place), weddings, churches, funerals, birthday parties, multiple basketball games and at MLK events. She was also an opener for Leandria Johnson in Roanoke, VA. Amber is very grateful for her diverse experience in performing.
Amber started writing consistently around 19 years old. She would get a pen and paper out and start writing away whenever she was bored. She loved writing music when she is able to feel and connect to it so she would also write when she was going through emotional times. Amber currently has two songs out called “Find Me” and “Flutterby”. She wrote “Find Me” dedicated to the men that have broke her heart in the past and how she did not let it stop her from finding true love.

Breaking was created by the African American youth in the early 1970s.[1] The earliest 1st Generation breakdancers of Bboys known as Trixie (Lauree Myers), Dancing Doug (Douglas Colon), A1 Bboy Sasa, The Legendary Smith Twins and Clark Kent. The groups included Zulu Kings, Star Child La Rock, Salsoul and Crazy Commandos.[2] By the late seventies, the dance had begun to spread to other communities and was gaining wider popularity;[3] at the same time, the dance had peaked in popularity among African Americans and Puerto Ricans.[3]
A practitioner of this dance is called a b-boy, b-girl, or breaker. Although the term "breakdance" is frequently used to refer to the dance in popular culture and in the mainstream entertainment industry, "b-boying" and "breaking" are the original terms and are preferred by the majority of the pioneers and most notable practitioners
President Donald Trump's personal defense lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, was in the middle of giving a news conference when he was told Joe Biden won the 2020 election. When the reporter said "all" the major cable news networks had called the race, Giuliani threw his arms up and responded sarcastically: "All of them! Oh my goodness! Wow, all the networks! We have to forget about the law, judges don't count!"Trump, Giuliani, and others in the president's orbit have so far refused to concede the election and said they plan to fight the results in court while making bogus claims of voter fraud and election-rigging. When the reporter told Giuliani that all the networks had called the election, the former New York mayor threw his arms up and responded sarcastically, "All of them! Oh my goodness! Wow, all the networks! We have to forget about the law, judges don't count!"
The Democratic nominee Joe Biden was projected to win the 2020 presidential election as of early Friday, as voters rejected President Donald Trump's chaotic and deeply polarizing first term.
Biden's vice presidential running mate, Sen. Kamala Harris of California, made history by becoming the nation's first female, Black, and Indian American vice president.
Biden surpassed the 270 electoral votes required to win the White House by flipping the battleground states of Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania, according to projections by Decision Desk HQ.
The call was made at 8:49 a.m. ET on Friday, November 6. MSNBC, CNN, and BBC called the election for Biden shortly after 11 a.m. ET on Saturday.
Republican lawmakers and officials are pushing back against President Donald Trump's series of false claims Thursday night about the presidential election, although some did not mention him by name.
Shortly before Trump made baseless claims at a news conference about massive voter fraud in Pennsylvania, Sen. Pat Toomey, R-Pa., said in a statement that once the state's final election count is "reached and certified, all parties involved must accept the outcome of the election regardless of whether they won or lost."
President Trump's team launched a series of lawsuits in key battleground states that seemed less about sound legal reasoning and more about slowing Joe Biden from marching over the electoral vote threshold.
At times, the lawsuits have contested ballots in the double digits — hundreds if not thousands of votes away of potentially swing any state's result.
"Admitting defeat is not a plausible reaction so soon after the election, so they throw a lot of Hail Mary lawsuits at the wall and hope something sticks," said longtime Republican elections lawyer and CNN contributor Ben Ginsberg. He said these types of suits aren't indicative of a campaign that's feeling optimistic — and instead, is scrambling.

The young and talented rapper and songwriter JGOTITT releases his latest project titled “Dripp” along with a spellbinding music video.
After witnessing his mother’s death Atlanta-based urban street poet JGOTITT got addicted to drugs and alcohol. But thank God he was able to tune himself in the right way and with keeping in his mind his mother’s advice of taking rapping seriously he brings his rapper talent into something valuable today.
For us, proper Hip Hop music lovers, It is a great pleasure to see that behind the project “Dripp” there stands a confident and fearless artist who applies all his skills, talent and drive to create this amazing track with upbeat and trendy sounds. And this gives us a hope that this is not just a one-time hit but the rapper has a lot more to say and show to the public in 2020 and in the years to come.
While we are enjoying this very special rap banger, we are also looking forward to hearing new smashing tracks from JGOTITT.

Born Jacqueline Wright in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Wright grew up in a very religious home, where her parents did not allow her or her sister to listen to nonreligious music. However, when her parents went out, she and her sister turned on the radio. Wright told an interviewer from Honeysoul.com, "We'd be partying and dancing and practicing new dances. Someone would have to play lookout at the window. When my parents got just a couple of doors down, we'd turn off the music, fan off the stereo to make sure it wasn't too hot, put in a gospel tape, wipe off the sweat and act like we were cleaning or something." She said that these experiences gave her a lasting passion for music; because it was forbidden, she wanted it even more.
Initially Wright did not plan to be a singer, but aspired instead to become an emcee and make her mark in the rap world. She began her musical career by rapping with a local group called the Philly Blunts. While she was with them, she tried to increase her vocabulary so that she would have a greater variety of expressions and wouldn't have to use curse words in her lyrics. However, she told the Honeysoul interviewer, "I had a way of making deep words sound real dirty."
Wright was a single mother by age 16. Her parents helped her to raise her son so he could grow up in a stable household while their daughter pursued her dream of a career in music. She told Amy Linden in Interview that this gamble eventually paid off: "Everything that I told [my son] I was trying to give him, he is now seeing come true."
A friend persuaded Wright to perform at Black Lily, a women's open mic event in Philadelphia. She was such a hit that she eventually became a headliner for the event. Wendy Goldstein, MCA senior vice-president for A&R for rhythm & blues, was in the audience. Goldstein was impressed by Wright's performance, and signed her to the Roots' Motive imprint.
Roots manager Richard Nichols then asked Wright to sing hooks on Roots tracks. She cre
Shonzarelly is as cool as his name suggests. His southern drawl sounds familiar, even though it’s uniquely his own. From his laidback persona, one would never take him for such a performer. His confidence and stage presence give him a star quality that surpasses music. However, hailing from Baton Rouge, instead of New Orleans, there weren’t as many opportunities in the industry. So, Relly became a product of his environment, and unfortunately, spent his youth in and out of jail. The Third World section of North Baton Rouge is no walk in the park. He was inspired to rap at a house party when his brother, Mitch, rocked the mic. Also, stepfather, best known by Cadillac, kept classics from the 40’s & up jammin, day in and day out. He later teamed up with his brother, and two of his cousin to formed a group called Blood’s Thicker Than Water and even gained the attention of Cash Money Records. Being“hard-headed”, landed him in prison again, and again. His producer at the time, Greg Dukes, gave up on him, led him to give up on his dream. It took a negative to inspire him to get back on it. The flood of 2016 was the catalyst to his return. He is working as a member of the Section Boyz. Through the Section Boyz he met E.P.,aka Playa Pizzle, and became a force to be reckoned with. His single “Swagging My Step”, produced by Mouse On The Track, that’s catching ears throughout the south. The best part about it all is, Relly remains humble and driven with “Buzza Beata” as the mission.

Everyone in the debate hall will be subject to a variety of health and safety protocols, according to the commission, including coronavirus testing and wearing masks
President Trump briefly departed Walter Reed Medical Center on Sunday evening in a SUV to wave to supporters who have gathered outside as he receives treatment after testing positive for the coronavirus. Confusion continued Sunday about the severity of Mr. Trump's condition, as his physician revealed the president had been given a dose of a powerful steroid that the World Health Organization has recommended for patients who are "critically ill" with COVID-19.
Dr. Sean Conley, the White House physician, said the president had been given dexamethasone, on Saturday, and had experienced two drops in his oxygen levels since the onset of the illness. Dexamethasone has been shown to improve outcomes for patients with severe cases of COVID-19, including those who require supplemental oxygen, but is not recommended for use in patients with milder cases.

“The Black Lives Matter movement was started because it was started about police brutality. If you want an All Black Lives Matter movement that talks about gun violence in communities including Black communities, then start that movement with that name,” he said. “But that’s not what Black Lives Matter is about.”
“If someone started a movement that said ‘cancer matters’ and then someone comes in and says, ‘Why aren’t you talking about HIV?’ It’s not the same thing.”
“But when you look at the organization, police brutality is not the only thing they’re talking about.”

The last 48 hours have presented a series of new challenges for Kanye West’s haphazard campaign for president.
In a span of two days, West was booted from the ballot in five states: Illinois, Montana, Ohio, West Virginia, and Wisconsin. In Illinois, Montana, and West Virginia, it was because he filed an insufficient number of valid signatures. In Wisconsin, it was because West did not file on time. In Ohio, the information and signature on West’s nominating petition and his statement of candidacy did not match those on petitions circulated to be signed.
West has filed in several other states in this week: Louisiana, Minnesota, Tennessee, and Virginia, but it is unclear if he will ultimately qualify to appear on the ballot in all of them.

For over two decades America has known the case of Baby Byron. He was born two months premature and addicted to cocaine and heroin in 1992. His mother left him at the hospital and put under the care of a white couple. A racially motivated custody battle ensued that divided the nation and got the attention of the NAACP, ACLU, and the Supreme Court.
Baby Byron and his family were guests on CNN, The Montel Williams Show, Ricki Lake, and his story even inspired a book and Hollywood movie starring Halle Berry.
Today Baby Byron is all grown up and ready to share his story through interviews and with his first solo album “Drugz Before the Flight”.

Rap's common designation as "CNN for black people" may result from the descendence of rappers from griots, respected African oral historians and praise-singers. Griots were the keepers and purveyors of knowledge, including tribal history, family lineage, and news of births, deaths, and wars5. Travelling griots spread knowledge in an accessible form--the spoken word--to members of tribal villages. Similarly, in the United States, many rappers create songs that, through performances and records, spread news of their daily lives, dreams, and discontents outside of their immediate neighborhoods. Rappers are viewed as the voice of poor, urban African-American youth, whose lives are generally dismissed or misrepresented by the mainstream media. They are the keepers of contemporary African-American working-class history and concerns.

In the last decade, hip-hop music has followed the path of commercialization that destroyed African-American radio stations in the 1 970s. Whereas prior to commercialization, African-American owners, programmers, and DJs had the freedom to use their stations to serve the specific needs of their listeners --New York's working-class African-American community. They were able to promote local artists and events and to address news events and social concerns as members of the same community from which they drew their audience. However, as corporations owned by businesspeople outside of the community consolidated power by purchasing local stations, African-American AM stations were forced out of the market by more economically-powerful stations owned and controlled mainly by members of the white upper-class. African - American DJs lost their power as the modern-day griots of their communities and as the presenters of hip-hop music and culture
LOS ANGELES, CA – American art fans have long known the name Amir Shaheed. His creative eye for photography and design have made Amir a well-known name in the art community. Now Amir is focusing on his other artistic passion… recording music. In 2018 Amir rocked the hip hop scene with the release of his hit single “Bigger House” under the name Bravo. Amir has just announced that he will be fulfilling his fans requests with a new nine track EP entitled “I Got Somethin’ to Say”. The EP delivers a variety of sounds, styles, and topics all with Amir’s thought-provoking and meaningful lyrics.

In the city of Dallas Texas, the Group SOGB resides, combining Hip hop, Latin culture, and Gender Mix to surely separate not just their sound but their look also. When you think of Reggaeton many names come to mind but nothing like this combination of Artist. The soul lyrics and Spanish tongue-twisting to melodies over a slice of boom-bap, this reggaeton sound is truly a breath of fresh air. SOG (Sons of Gloria), are all brothers and share the gift of musical talents. The brothers grew up in a diverse culture of Mexican and Spanish heritage. Chapu Lin is the oldest brother that simply holds the microphone down with his wide range of abilities. When asked what he loves about his musical ability, he will simply respond with, He loves the energy that he can provide others through melody. Primo Is the middle-aged brother of the trio and he has the special skill of singing and bringing the rustic authentic Mexican flavor to the microphone. When you ask him what he loves about the music he will surely tell you that he just loves the process of hearing the finished product. Lil Mex is the youngest out of the three but definitely no pushover. This young fella brings it point-blank and when asked what he loves the most, he will respond with a smile but trust me there is nothing funny about the way he punishes the microphone. The group has been working extremely hard to bring their music to the forefront of this industry. Things had been going very well for the group and just when they thought it could not get any better, they ran into an old friend Named Beezy Rmg. Beezy is a very diverse artist that is not afraid to step outside of his comfort zone of hip hop and r&b. When you ask Beezy what he loves most he will respond with,

MIAMI, FL – After years of misinformation and confusing statements regarding the dangers of the Brazilian Butt Lift (“BBL”) Procedure, an Association has been formed to educate the public and help train surgeons in the safest BBL techniques. On February 1st, 2019, The World Association of Gluteal Surgeons (WAGS) was officially launched by some of the biggest names in Plastic Surgery. The group consists of surgeons who are committed to performing aesthetic gluteal shaping procedures in the safest manner possible.
The inaugural President of the Association is Michael Salzhauer, MD, more popularly known as “Dr. Miami”, a board-certified plastic surgeon who became a house-hold name when he pioneered the broadcast of plastic surgery procedures to a mainstream social media audience.
The Association began with a few concerned surgeons and has quickly grown to over one hundred and fifty surgeons in thirty countries with over 200,000 BBL’s performed combined.
In recent years, the Brazilian Butt Lift has been reported as the most dangerous cosmetic surgery in the world with the highest mortality rate. What is often not reported is that the success of the procedure is highly technique and experience dependent. It is the contention of WAGS surgeons that the reported high-mortality rate is due to a burgeoning demand for this procedure by the general public and a lack of training opportunities for doctors. In reality, it is the lack of surgical training and education and not the procedure itself, which is the greatest danger. WAGS was created to fill this educational void in order to educate and protect patients

Growing up, Maliyah was always singing before her own realization of her passion for entertainment. She always experimented vocally by pushing herself to the limits and fine tuning her voice to what encaptivates her sound. Her biggest inspirations throughout her childhood came from Adele, Rihanna, Amy Winehouse and Aaliyah. In conjunction with the artists that have had an impact on her musical inclination, their influences helped with structuring her style of singing. Listening to Adele at the age of 12 was the very beginning of Maliyah’s self-development as an artist; Adele being one of the very few artists she deeply connected to stylistically and emotionally. This progressing discovery of her sound and the capabilities of her voice enticed many local artists to collaborate with her in her city as well as gain traction from her Instagram account. In the year of 2017, Maliyah dedicated her varied posts to Instagram once a day and in the process, captivated the attention of Jaye, her current manager of Skye Jaye Entertainment, who linked up for several days of recording to complete various songs and my first single Too Late, which is set to release May15th 2019. Although jazz, soul and R&B have all played a role in Maliyah’s continual love and passion for singing, this stemmed from her mother’s influence in music. Her mother advocating for Maliyah’s goals and ambitions has pushed her beyond her minds content and through rough times of adversity; her mother’s phenomenal uplifting spirit was one that strengthened her assurance as an artis

New Dawn Records were formed in 1996, facilitating some initial low key releases mainly as a way to help some local friends have their music heard.
The main activity began from 2000 when they signed the hip hop crew Belles in Monica, spearheaded by producer Kruze, and helped in their development and recording leading to the group’s only album release “Resistance is Futile” in 2002. The affiliated singles “Y’All Under Surveillance”, “Meltdown” and “What D’Ya Need” were released on vinyl that year and received international radio airplay including key supporters such as Steve Lamacq on BBC Radio 1’s flagship Evening Sessions show.
The singles were particularly well supported in the clubs at the time which led to high entries on DJ Magazine’s specialist charts while the group also featured in international publications including Hip Hop Connection, Billboard, Blues & soul, XLR8R and Hip Hop DX.
Some of their music was also used for a number of Xtreme Sports programmes and small independent film.
The group’s final single release was “Smoke Filled Rooms” in 2003
During this period, the label looked to expand their operation and bring additional dynamics to their overall organization. With a group of fcolleagues, the concept of “Urban Elite” was conceived, originally to build a community of those active in different artforms such as film, photography, music, street art, the aim being to cross collaborate on various projects.
Over time, Urban Elite’s activity centred on film / documentary production, music production and music promotions.

While flaunting your street credibility has transformed average MCs into overnight superstars, Supreme has lived a life often fabricated. Raised with two other siblings in Miami's poverty-stricken streets, Preme survived his hostile surroundings in hopes of turning his youthful angst into a promising rap career. Hailing from the notorious streets of Little Haiti Supreme is offering some of the most intense tales of urban survival since Scarface (The Rapper). Don't mistake Supreme for just another hustler turned Hip-Hop artist. To him, it runs deeper. "I'm just trying to pay my respects to what I grew up on. I consider myself a part of history and Hip-Hop evolution," Preme says. "I'm like the long lost child of Poison Clan, Zoe Pound, and Ghetto Boyz," Preme adds. Who is this artist on the rise? Cross Willie D. vocals with Ice Cube's flow and results might sound like Supreme. Just don't tell him that. "People compare you becuse they need something to identify with," explains the Miami MC, Preme is more concerned with showing growth with music than glorifying his troubled past. Miami has seen its share of Hip-Hop superstars come and go, Supreme sounds differ from the usual home cooking. With his focus on substance over style. J.Howell offers these things and so much more to the music scene. Penning his thoughts to paper has served as therapy to unleash the emotion and passion he portrays through his music. His journey of performing started when he participated in a black history program at his elementary school. This is also the discovery of his hidden talent by his family, particularly his aunt and mom. While visiting the school that day to watch her daughter's performance, his aunt was stunned to see her nephew on the stage. She was even more shocked to hear the hearty chords belted from her 7-year -old nephew. She called his mom during the show and let her hear this "amazing little boy" sing. When his mother discovered that it was her son, she burst into tears. From that day forward, J.Howell earned much support from his family to pursue his dream.
J.Howell is not your average artist. He cares not to be categorized musically, but to get a hint of his style, it would be labeled as soulful R&B with a sprinkle of pop. If you mixed Beyonce's arrangements of vocals and simplicity with El Debarge's voice range and control and Usher’s suave demeanor and soul, you would have the perfect blend of J.Howell's eclectic style and sound. No bells and whistles, strictly "heart music." He takes his own experiences and weaves it into something that people can feel and relate to.

GT is from Los Angeles, California. He got into music when he was fifteen. He started his own record label when he was twenty one, learning how to release his own records by doing interships with big labels and independent radio promotional firms.
He made a name for himself in the college radio scene when he released an EP in 1998 called “Ultimate Release Ultimate High”. In 2004 he released his first full length album, “The Infamous”, to college radio, record pools, and to commercial radio across the states. GT quickly got noticed by morning radio shows across the country and was a frequent guest. Many stations put his song, “Baby Don’t Worry”, into rotation and was reported and added to Radio&Retail and Billboard magazine twice in the urban section in the southern part of the United States. He was surprised to get any notice by big stations because he was an indie not a major.
Today, GT continues to gain more and more fans and stations that support him. To him, being an indie artist is like trying to build China’s Great Wall one brick at a time. “When I see fans across the country showing me support, that really motivates me to keep building my music career” says GT.
GT loves doing what he does, and wakes up every morning and startes calling radio stations, retail stores and books his own tours. It’s the love and the passion for the game that motivates him everydaym,

Being raised by his grandparents, he was molded into a God fearing individual, and was always pushed to challenge himself and the limits that the world or society may set for him. While always possessing the “gift of gab”, he excelled in academics, but that didn’t prevent him from being exposed to as much deviance as his small area could offer. Taking this knowledge with him to bigger cities around the state as he grew older, he would continue to advance his knowledge and experience in all things, including those not so friendly areas. Finding himself at a great space in life, K.Cirrus is a wordsmith with a brash yet smooth delivery of catchy and lyrical bars, laced with raspy vocals. His first major single, “See Me Ball”, see’s Cirrus deliver a heavy hitting banger filled with punchlines and a soothing yet boastful hook. Over a horn sprinked track with a crazy rhythym line, Cirrus definitely delivers. His latest single echos his thoughts on playing a game with so much of the same. Where he sounds like him, and she sounds like them. In a game that makes you wonder if real bars even matter anymore, Cirrus ask a redundant, but important question. “WTF” do you want from him? He can be located on most major outlets including Apple Music and Itunes, Spotify, Pandora, Soundcloud, and most others. Cirrus Serious
This misunderstanding about the use of "Xmas" is not a new phenomenon. I heard the same kinds of comments in sermons many years ago. It was especially prevalent among those Christians and church leaders who wanted or needed to see the world in negative and threatening terms (s, or who tended to see everything in secular society either as part of some grand conspiracy of Satan or the inexorable working out of God’s own predetermined plan, without really knowing all the facts or complexities of the situation (
It is as if the term "Xmas" used anywhere in public is part of some diabolical grinchly plot to subvert Christmas. This is implied in other places as well. A 2005 poll on the website bible.com, a popular biblical resource site, has this question: "What concerns you the most about how the world is attacking Christmas, a Christian holiday?" The four choices given in order are:
1) Using an "X" to replace Christ’s name in Christmas - for example, Xmas;
2) Banning manger scenes from public places;
3) Substituting "Happy Holidays" for "Merry Christmas";
4) Emphasizing Santa Claus over Baby Jesus.

Kat St. John is an artist with a soulful voice who has graced the stage with artist such as: Lil Wayne, Young Jeezy, Destiny Child, Monica, Common, Nas and many other talented men and women in the music industry. She has been singing for 10 years since she was a little girl.
The music industry was so competitive to get in she decided to change the rules of getting g in as an artist. Kat decided to give away her hit singles written for herself to local know artist. This seemed like the best way to get in the door being that she had no money nor family support she decided to make her own path. When people heard her edgy lyric they wanted it for themselves.
She then decided to be very selective with whom would have her records. Keeping all her rights not one was sold, just leased. When her name became big as a writer she them started back from the beginning as Persuing her dreams of being the hottest artist in the nation. Kat has had the opportunity to work with producers, whom have worked on some of the hottest albums, like drake, young jeezy, Latoya luckett, Piles, Tony Braxton, Trey Songs, Lil Wayne, Lil Bow Wow, Beyonce and the Destiny Child albums, just to name a few. “I have worked with many musical artist, producers and DJ’s that have believed in my music.” , says St. John.
As an 8 year-old wunderkid, Kief recalls entertaining his family and friends or anyone who would listen. The musician was born in the musical underbelly, New Orleans, Louisiana. Like the timeless and renaissance legends reared from NOLA, Kief knows no genre. With lyrics and sounds so vivid, no one genre is worthy of containing his light. He explains, he can play many positions in the game. Artist, singer, songwriter, producer, artist developer and entrepreneur. Not knowing what he really had in his hand, he recalls having to explain to his mother what a record deal and label was. Kief shared an account, at 17, as a minor, having his mother signing his contract, for his first major record deal. “Music is the most powerful gift”, Kief stamps. Working with artist such as: Lupe Fiasco, he intentional strives to connect different styled artists with unconventional songs, beats, artists, etc. He is most known for his credits on Lupe Fiasco’s hit single , The Show Goes On,” three times Grammy nominated. His sole purpose of music is to inspire others to use their platform to share their gifts. Empowering others to make room for themselves and their gifts, is his passion and challenge. It is particularly important for Kief to leave a carbon foot print in music. Let’s break that down. When talking about the climate change (or in our case, shift in energy, of the relationship) the footprint is a metaphor for the total impact that something is making. The carbon is the infectious energy. He is here to counteract that dark energy. Inspiring next generations of artists to free their minds from the soul ties of the machine, and instead create a soulmate with your craft. Your music.

Bianca Seals A.k.a Krush the Goddess comes out of Detroit where the music scene is on fire right now. There are a lot of great artists that come from that region.
"You can't win it if you're not in it", say Krush. Her plan is to make a name for herself in the industry when it's all said and done.
Krush was born in the 80s in Detroit at a time when her surroundings were pretty rough. She can remember her dad listening to a lot of Soul music as a kid, Luther Van Dross, Earth ,Wind and Fire and all the other popular artists. On the other hand her mother listened to a lot of Rap. Growing up in a household that was filled with different music has prepared Krush the Goddess to bring her own unique style of artistry to the industry.
Her name has a lot of different meanings to it. Krush represents the affect that she has on the fellas. The Goddess represents the level at which she holds herself like a young Queen Latifah. When you put it all together you have a woman who is confident and knows her worth.
Confidence will take you a long way, and this artist has plenty. She is doing shows that she booked on her own, not needing any help from so called mangers or janky promoters. With a Detroit mind state she definitely has the swagger of a self made successful business woman. Be on the look out for Krush the Goddess to make an impact in the game.
Katt said Tiffany got famous off someone else's writing ... and ANYONE would have earned critical acclaim reading the "Girls Trip" script, which Katt claims he saw way back in 2004.
He added ... Tiffany's been in comedy since she was 16, but claims no one knows her jokes. Then there's this -- "She ain't done a tour yet. She ain't done a special. She has not proven the ability to tell jokes back-to-back for an hour to nobody."
For the record, Tiff has had specials and has a deal to do another for Netflix.
So, what's the secret to her success? According to Katt, it's just 2 words: Brad. Pitt. Watch ... he claims Tiffany's just playing the white card.
Harsh stuff. We'll see if Tiff fires back.
Katt Williams dropped by V-103 in Atlanta last week and had somefor comedian and actress Tiffany Haddish. "They all ready to down Mo'Nique and up somebody who has showed them Girls Trip. MC Rayvon -aka- Rayvon Da Legend has been a part of Harlem Hip Hop since 1978. He original came in the game as the lead MC for Harlem's legendary Super Group The Magnificent 7 (M7), and while his love for Hip Hop was unquestionalbe, like most during the late 70's and 80's he fell victim and was lured into the drug trade. This proved to be a terrible mistake on his behalf and after spending a total of 23 years in prison he was released in the fall of 2007. During all of the trials and tribulations he never relinquished his love for Hip Hop, and in the summer of 2009 he was approached by Actor Travis Jacobs who grew up listening to mix tape of Rayvon. Praises were extended and Travis suggested that he be allowed to produce and direct a Documentary film, detailing Rayvon's life. In 2010, for the first time in 30 years Rayvon found himself back in front of a mic, doing what most believe he was born to do. Harlem Mercy is the second release of his upcoming mix tape. Stay tune and follow Da Legend, trust me... you'll be glad you did!

Washington (CNN)After months of vowing to fight for his innocence, former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort conceded to committing several federal crimes and agreed to cooperate with the Justice Department, including in special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.
Manafort pleaded guilty in federal court in Washington, DC, on Friday to one count of conspiracy against the US and one count of conspiracy to obstruct justice due to attempts to tamper with witnesses.
Friday's court activity signals Mueller's investigation will continue and delve deeper into what Manafort knows. Even in lessening the charges against Manafort, prosecutors still have significant leverage over him if he isn't helpful to their investigation.
Manafort's decision to cooperate with Mueller comes just weeks after President Donald Trump called Manafort a "brave man" who would not "make up stories in order to get a 'deal'" after he was convicted in a separate trial in Virgini

Hip-hop has awoken a monster with his own signature sound called 'Enlightened Trap'. On-the-verge rapper, Da GhOul has taken up the challenge in bringing light to this new genre with his new trap anthem “Where I Be”. Da Gh0ul is a highly creative artist who has always had a knack for music since the age of 8 when he started writing raps. On “Where I Be”, Da Gh0ul uses a high powered, uptempo piano key beat mixed with a soft "X-Files" type melody to give a warning to haters, the feds, and anybody else who can't see him. The song details his drive, grind, and hustle for achieving greatness amidst the ops who may not know his acts or “whereabouts” (thus the title where I be). But he is at a greater place far from those who are not about their business and the positive growth of "Self". Slick punch lines, and a lyrical flexibility mixed with a melodic Crunk tune are just a few words to describe upcoming Dirty South rap artist Da Gh0ul. He's collaborated with idols such as Dj Smalls, DJ Fresh (Rich Homie Quan DJ), and has even opened up for " OJ Da Juiceman". Follow Da Gh0ul and his growing movement today!
Born under the sign of Sagittarius in December, Morris Christopher Childs, p/k/a MoChilds is on a mission to be all that he can be via his strong commitment to self, body, his spirituality and his family.
This Indianapolis born and raised artist was influenced greatly by his Mom whom taught him to be expressive through creative expression, the rapper enjoys blending musical genres based greatly on his upbringing. As a child he was exposed to gospel, and as he grew older he became very interested in big band music. “With the ills of segregation and racism, African-Americans used music as a way to mask the pain”, say the very articulate emcee, he continues, “The passion put into that music was the outlet no doubt.”
As he ventured into high school he expanded his horizons into liking acts as diverse as: The Beatles, Michael Jackson, Dave Matthews Band and Incubus. He considers THE CHRONIC 2001 by Dr. Dre to be the best hip-hop album of all-time. His personal favorite rapper is Rakim.
Having lived in the Midwest (Indianapolis and Cincinnati), Austin, Texas; Studio City, California; and New York City, New York, Childs feels that this diverse background has helped him embrace various genres and cultures.
To that end he describes his music as “pop-hop”, a blend of pop culture with elements of hip-hop. His first-ever single “And They Say” is a spot on example of such. He feels having a unified mind sets him apart from the rest of the field in hip-hop. “Everyone is trying to be the best rapper, the best baller, and I am just trying to be me with the goal of entertaining people all over the world”, says Childs with a marked determination.

When you're a rebellious, educated and enlightened liberator, the world is at your mercy. This saying holds true for Minnesota rap artist, REEL Smoovv, born as Johnny Watkins.
In Minneapolis, there's a unique brew of artists including the late Prince, The Time, and The Soul Asylum; among others. As an artist, Smoovv has a rich history to look upon and encapsulate everything great about the Minneapolis Sound.
As an artist with direction, Smoovv has opened up for mainstream artists like The Migos, Curren$y, Bone Thugs and Harmony, Nappy Roots, 50 Cent, Naughty By Nature, The Game and Krayzie Bone; just to name a few. REEL Smoovv possesses characteristics of a self-effacing, reserved, laid back individual with an associates degree. But, with a microphone in hand, he takes on the stage with lyrical content and commands the attention of those in his presence. His latest single "Groovy In A Hooptie," proves that he is a contender in the hip-hop world.

Pro Basketball Star LV Just Announced the Release of His New Single “Step Thru”
WILMINGTON, DE – Sports fans know the name Vince Goldsberry from his time as a NCAA standout at Coppin State and a professional basketball player in North America and Europe, but Goldsberry is making a bigger name for himself in the area of hip hop music. Under the stage name LV, he released several projects to date, and his last album “Swag Season” was a huge success in America and around the world!
LV has just announced that he is releasing his fourth project “3 King” in September, which will be an eclectic array of smooth beats and lyrics that will cross several genres and demographics. Today, LV is dominating the music industry like he dominated the basketball court. He received a full scholarship to Coppin State in Baltimore, MD where he won the NCCA Division 1 MEAC Tournament as a freshman. Coming up around legends such as Keith Shocklee of the Bomb Squad, Phase was able to sculpt his sound around the soundscape of the Big Apple. Few independent MC's carry themselves with the poise and verve that Phase One exhibits. He has become something of a cornerstone in New York City’s local hip-hop scene, and now he’s primed to make his next move with "The World Wonder" LP produced by King Henry. Phase brings to life real issues and the light found positivity and love in this newly minted project. NYC locals will also recognize Phase as one of the key components of The Lesson, a live hip-hop ensemble that’s become a must-see attraction on the city’s music circuit for some time now. Phase aims to not use profanity in his music, to show the youth in the programs he works with, that you don't have to curse to bridge bars together. “

Artist Dave Skillz (David Boyd) was born in Atlanta, Georgia on June 22, 1987. He began writing music at the age of 13. As Skillz practiced perfecting his craft he learned the importance of using original instrumentals. Producers were pricing beats that weren’t in his budget, so at the age of 16 Skillz started making his own beats. During this period Skillz was also working two jobs to pay for studio time. At 22, he joined the U.S. Navy, and while serving he saved enough money to buy and build his own home studio. Skillz spent most of his time in recording studios where he learned how to engineer vocals, and so he began to record his self with a professional sound quality which helped him stand out from local competition. Skillz has released several albums/mix-tapes, and is continuing to become the best artist he can while working to make his mark in today’s music industry.
Dave Skillz has partnered with long-time friend Corey Cooper to form their music label Infamous Sound Music Line. Skillz also attended the Art Institute of Los Angeles for audio engineering. His label has their own studio, engineers, producers, and a videographer.
He released his project MULA (Money Under Loyalty Always) which features single Boyz Wit Da Bank that garnished him tons of attention from DJs via Greenhitz. It also features the single Runnin’ Loose produced by Atlanta super producers Nard & B.

Papa Bondye, meaning Father God in Creole, was Born in New Jersey. After his parents split, his mom sent him to Tennessee to be with his father. As a kid from the east coast, he adapted to southern street life fast.
Papa Bondye enjoyed playing drums as a young child. Listening to a lot of konpa and hip hop fed, and influenced Papa Bondye's natural ear for music. He has been writing poems since he was old enough to write. At 22yrs old, Papa Bondye started out behind the scenes managing and developing artist. He had no desire to be in spotlight, due to dark pass living street life and being gang leader. He finally decided to pursue his own music career after coming to the realization that he was putting too much time and energy into other artists, whom he felt didn't quite share the same passion for music as he did.
Papa Bondye is very passionate when it comes to his Haitian roots and culture. Yes, it is safe to say he is most definitely a spokesman for the country of Haiti, as he never leaves home without his Haitian flag. His hobbies include being a family man, and helping others. Everywhere he travels and the streets he is well respected, hence streets calling him the god father PAPA BONDYE

Six Baltimore police officers will face charges in the death of Freddie Gray, the city's prosecutor said Friday in an unexpected announcement that brought cheers from protesters and words of protest from the police union.
The announcement by Baltimore City State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby left no doubt about what she thinks happened April 12, when Gray was arrested: The 25-year-old died, she said, after suffering "a severe and critical neck injury" while being transported "handcuffed, shackled by his feet and unrestrained" inside a police van. It is against police policy to transport a prisoner without proper restraints such as a seat belt.Check East Side Story Movie

The Saint Bernard was founded in 980 AD by St. Bernard de Menthon and bred by monks, most likely by crossing the ancient Tibetan mastiff with the Great Dane, Greater Swiss Mountain Dog and the Great Pyrenees. The first Saint Bernards were of the shorthaired variety, as the longhaired variety's coat tended to collect icicles. They were used by the Hospice, a refuge for travelers through the dangerous Alpine pass between Switzerland and Italy. In the middle of the seventeenth century, the Saint Bernard became popular as a rescue dog working to save people from avalanches in the snowy passes near the Hospice. The dogs are able to smell a person under many feet of snow. They have saved thousands of people searching out and finding lost or injured travelers. The dogs would work in packs looking for the victims. When found they would lick and lie down with them in order to keep them warm. While a dog or more would lie with the body(s), another dog would head back to the Hospice to alert them that they found the humans. A full rescue team would then be sent out. The Saint Bernard has also been known to be able to predict storms and avalanches. This may be possible because of the dog's ability to hear very low-frequency sounds which humans cannot. The Saint Bernard was recognized by the AKC in 1885. Some of the Saint Bernard's talents are search and rescue, guard dog, watchdog and carting.
Hiway is dropping his next mixtape project "WeezleJewce" on Halloween
We all identify with fictional characters, and Hiway has always held highly the character Beetlejuice. Hiway had for a long time envisioned making a project based on the movie, and when he decided to tackle writing to the entire opening theme music, the idea was once again refueled. Building a collection of songs using industry beats, Hiway (and Wayhi) were back on their RTI-type antics. WeezleJewce was created; the pesky, obnoxious "musical bio-excorcist" who emerges from the underground when summoned. With features only from Hiway's teammates The Gas Station, we give you this glorious undead gem...for FREE. Are we crazy yet?
"WeezleJewce" drops 10/31/14 Halloween day for free on

There is confusion in rap right now. The story centers around Nas and a mysterious character named Your Old Droog. Droog is currently faceless, but not voiceless as his self-titled EP is drawing strong comparisons to Nas. So strong that many are suggesting Droog is Nas’ alter ego*.
For the record, eskay says he’s met Your Old Droog before. eskay’s a pretty believable guy. One of the guys at Complex claims he’s met guy before, too, and that it’s not God’s Son. Others have chimed in as well. The catch is no one can really recall anything distinctive about the guy but, as a writer who meets a lot of rappers, I can attest these rappers do all tend to blend together and become faces in the crowd when you meet them at an event or whatever and they hit you with the “please listen to my demo” deal.

For Justin Crowder, it’s about making music that people will remember and relate to, invoking an unforgettable feeling. For his more popularly known moniker, JC, it’s about creating real R&B with a touch of “swagg”; Charisma in the form of a sound recording!Referring to his writing style, he states, “Everything I write is catchy with strong metaphors, fresh concepts, and captivating melodies that stick.” JC is pleasant, humble, quite witty and even a little shy. He lacks arrogance, yet embodies character built confidence. But one thing stands above all these traits…JC is a STAR!

Sofia and Shaun Sulligan.
The season premiere aired on March 7th with plenty of expected blowups and drama. One thing that was not expected is Shaun’s past being falsely reported. In 2009 Shaun had a brief career in the industry which he admits he is not proud of. The scene he recorded was between Shaun and a women but the website it was filmed for had a predominately gay audience. This information was leaked to the media and positioning Shaun as a gay star which is completely not true.

Kam was born and raised on the South Side of Chicago and has been singing since the tender age of three years old. Her gift was passed from her mother, who was also a singer. By the age of five, Kam was singing songs by Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, and Dionne Warwick and as she grew up, was a part of many different youth choirs.
Kam attended grammar school at Edgar Allan Poe Classical School where her choir teacher was a huge influence and inspiration. His guidance pushed her towards auditioning for the All-City Youth Chorus group at Whitney Young High School where she excelled. She enrolled in Gwendolyn Brooks College Prep, as well as the Merit School of Music located in downtown Chicago. She practiced Musical Theatre, Vocal Performance, and Dance under the direction of Ms. Melba Wright who became a valuable mentor to her. Kam continues to incorporate the lessons she’s learned from Ms. Wright to this day.
