In the wake of a dear close personal friend taking his own life on Memorial Day I had some time to reflect and
as thoughts were pouring out of my head I decided to record and talk out loud as if there was someone in
front of me contemplating suicide. After that conversation, I know they wouldn't have done it. This is that recording.
Thank you for listening.
In this episode we discuss the controversy over the firing of a teacher in Natomas, Ca for teaching unauthorized curriculum to high school students for the last few years. We've also taken a look at local teachers to see if there is a pattern of teachers ignoring books and instead peddling pamphlets and handouts on identity and racism. We did some research and the results are concerning. Parents, you'll want to hear this and then you'll want some answers. In no way is this meant to cause any division or witch hunting, but our intent is to bring awareness to a troubling trend of teachers leaving out the books and bringing in their own curriculum.
In this episode we have a raw discussion as go off the record with a suicide survivor. One of the most difficult conversations we've had to talk to someone who made the decision to take away the pain, followed through, pulled the trigger, and woke up after. You will never forget this mans story. It's time we go off the record.
This evening Jaime discusses the current state of affairs in America, Shelter in Place. We also take a look at the current liberties being shelved at the moment as well as Jaime's mission to drive to The White House and personally ask POTUS to lift the order. Intense and offensive, the coronavirus is not our new normal.
Today we talk about the impeachment process and how we- the people need to be united no matter what DC is up to.
On this episode I pose a question to you, the listener. Should I throw myself into the world of speaking. Should I share my story on a bigger stage? Should I? In this episode I’m asking for your feedback. Well....Should I?
