Charlie Louise is a young singer songwriter from Cornwall has been gigging relentlessly during 2019, so unsurprisingly we invited her to perform at Down to the Wire.

The Babysnakes formed in 2000 over a mutual love of sugary tea and acoustic guitar driven pop songs. Following a short ten-year hiatus, they are embarking on a mission to make everyone's life better via the medium of nicely written and executed pop songs.

Episode 25: Owly Dave
Owly Dave busked the Paris Metro for 3 years in the late 70's playing mainly Donovan and Dylan songs. In the early 80's he played in DenRay's band 'Planet Waves'. These days he plays his own songs with occasional public performances close to home.

Rose Kimberley is a singer songwriter who's originally from Cornwall. With a warm and powerful tone, Rose has a distinctive sound and is complimented for her emotional delivery. A BBC Introducing artist, she has regular exposure on BBC radio and BBC Introducing gigs and was a featured 'Artist of the Week' on the Georgey Spanswick show in 2017.

Episode 20: Bob Gallie
Bob Gallie is someone we discovered in the Taunton area and we're so glad we did! We don't normally allow covers as its a singer songwriter evening, however, during Bob's line check he started playing along with the Radiohead song that was playing. Listening to it through the headphones to how good it was we decided to turn off the music and let everyone else listen, so his set starts with this song before the this very accomplished musician and singer went onto perform hi own material.
