The original episodes of the Ghost Army Podcast were initially aired on the WWPD network and, sadly, when that network went off the air, the first 25 episodes of the show were lost to the sands of time... UNTIL NOW!

Thanks to listeners like you, we have recovered almost all of the missing episodes of the GAP and over the next couple of months, every week, we will be putting out another classic episode of the show.

Please bear in mind that the audio quality of these episodes is not up to the modern standards of the Cast Dice Network and that we are often talking about organisations that no longer exist (Boltaction dot net has become The Bolt Action Alliance for example). That said, we hope you enjoy these trips down memory lane.

With the recent return of the Ghost Army Podcast, I have been craving "crunchy" yet historically themed Bolt Action conversations about one of my favourite conflicts in and around World War 2, The Winter War.

This is a segment from the LRDG II Podcast, which was hosted by me and the same format as Cast Dice, from August 2016, where I speak with David Hunter from The Down Order Podcast at length about how to build historically themed Finnish Winter War armies in Bolt Action that can win games and how to do them.

Because version 1 and version 2 of Bolt Action are VERY similar this entire episode works in the current edition of the game. I believe I have cut out any parts that are no longer true.

You might be asking why I am putting this out? When WWPD was taken down, all of the podcast content on that network was lost. I thought that this conversation was worth saving. I hope you agree!

Happy Lunar New Year! Welcome to the first episode of Cast Dice in the year of the pig!

To celebrate, I have invited local Chinese player, Jon, on to talk Bolt Action tactics and Communist Chinese armies on the tabletop. As a Nationalist player myself, we talk through a lot of the similarities and differences between how these armies are built and how they play. We also talk about minor power lists in Bolt Action in general and how to survive with them against the major nations.

Sadly, there were Skype issues and fireworks going throughout this episode though I think I have minimised the worst of their effects. I hope you enjoy!
