We recorded this a couple days before Thanksgiving, it was a little hard to find a guest in town, so instead Martin brought his roomate's, our past guest Sandi Beaton, dog, Poptart. Poptart was not too interested in being on the show and was way more interested in exploring the house. We still have a good time and get ready for the holiday season!

We're back....kinda! Nothing actually happened to stop the pod, we just kinda were not feeling it for a bit. But we brought back for our friend, comedian Winston Hodges! Winston has a new special out he put together himself called Grieving Productively.  The special is about how he handled and the experience of his father's sudden death.  It's a serious subject, but as the title is called it's about grieving productively and laughter is on of them.  We talk about death a lot, our own, family and friends,  we reference jokes in the special, we play a game about death, and still are able to talk about The Bachelorette! This episode sounds dark, but it's actually a solid time.  Check it out and check out Winston's special on youtube.

On this show Martin sits down with the self proclaimed "new face of thot comedy", Jenny Questell!; she's more than that though! Jenny helps Martin with his tinder profile; maybe he gets a match, Jenny reads poems she wrote in high school, which are as good as they sound, then Martin's memory card gets full so both him and Jenny have to go to his apartment to clear up space and continue to record because this show is professional.  After that delay Jenny talks about the show she doesn't host but helps out at and discusses how she got sick a few months back and seriously almost died.  She gets very sincere, no one has ever gotten that deep on the show!  It's real!  It's fun! Great episode!

The Taco Bell down the street from where Martin lives closed about 10 months ago.  It was very devastating. We have guest Ryan Ha, who's a comic and entrepreneur, as he likes to be called Trap Star;  he does comedy and runs a weed delivery app/website, Dreamy.  Check out Dreamydc.com!  We mostly talk about weed and his app, discuss Tienanmen Square on the 30th anniversary, Martin tells a weird unnecessary college story and we play a game called Ice Cream Flavor or Weed Strain. It was fun!

There was a time when no guest could make it in and Charlie had work, so Martin had to do an entire hour by himself!  It's rough, definitely a struggle, but Martin did it. It's just hard to listen to that's why it was never released, but it's been awhile, so why not?  The only good thing to come out of this was a new Ariana Grande cover.  Her song is called 'needy', our song is called 'sleepy'. It actually turned out well; it's in the second half.  This isn't a good episode; it was an experiment!  Martin proved he could do it!

New episodes are coming and there's a lot to get to it!  For enjoy the episode we probably should have never shared!

It's been one year!!  This is actually  the last episode of Comic's Corner....because we're changing the name!  The show's name is too generic!  After this, it's going to be called The Martin Show, the full name being The Martin Show (....with Charlie Ross.).  This anniversary show was kinda all over the place.  Charlie brought in rolling papers because the one year anniversary is the paper anniversary, of course.  We told people to call in and proved after a year we still don't know how to use the phone!  Charlie reads an epic long poem that he hates.  Our stripper to celebrate our achievement cancelled, so Martin strips for Charlie instead and starts to feel insecure about it.  We look at news that happened the first day we air; mainly, Wrestlemania and an attack on  Syria...and our show!!  It is what you'd expect our anniversary show to be!

On this episode we had on Maddy Brannon and Kate Flaherty, who put on their own brunch comedy show called Bottomless Mimos-ha's!  We try to have our own brunch on the show, Martin brought in orange juice, leftover fries, and fries he tried to make himself.  Okay, it wasn't much of a brunch, but his fries weren't terrible. We discuss a variety of topics from taxes to irrational fears to if this one girl's boyfriend is cool or not, and we read a poem about an annoying ghost, and more!!  It was a really fun time!

Our show fell on St. Patrick's Day, so we invited back our favorite Irish guests, Christine O'Dea and Bridget Geiran, and Charlie is Irish too, so we had an Irish Off to see who is the most Irish!  We do Irish trivia, have everyone write a limerick, see who can peal potatoes quickest, Bridget teaches us how to Irish dance, and we try to do our own Irish drinking song!  The whole thing is probably offensive, but it was fun and festive!

On this first episode of Comic's Corner of the new year, we had the comedy troupe or team or gang or murder or whatever you want to call them, The Midnight Gardeners!! Originally, our plan was to have a musical episode, but there were a lot of technical difficulties; only Martin's headphones worked, the musical fell apart quickly. The show was still good hanging out with the Gardeners and we met their new members! Oh, and Owen Wilson stops by!

This is a different kind of episode of Comic's Corner, one of the earliest episodes of the show we tried to interview different Miss USA contestants and they all stood us up (see episode 5), but we didn't let that give us a bad impression of pageants, so this time we stayed local! We got in contact this our guest, Miss Northern Virginia Caroline Weinroth!! From the start she admitted she was quite impressed with Martin's knowledge of pageantry, we discuss all the different kinds of pageants there are, Caroline is earning her MFA in poetry/creative writing so her Poem of the Day was probably the most impressive we've had, throughout the show we ask her pageant questions from the '60s, Caroline shows and explains all the different pageant walks, Martin puts on heels and tries himself and fails, and a lot more! It's a really fun episode!!

This is a very special episode of the show; this is will not air on the radio, it's only for the podcast or online, so we can curse and do whatever. It is a Christmas treat! Our guest was Stephen Campbell. We do a crazy game of Edward Eggnog-hands, where both Stephen and Martin tape two quart size' egg nog cartons to their hands, spike them, and try to finish them before the end of the show. One is successful, but both end up sick! Otherwise than that, we talk about Stephen's impressive career saving the environment, play a dirty game of password, and go on a lot of tangents! It's a crazy episode!

On this episode of Comic's Corner we do a lot of experiments! We do an egg drop, where you secure eggs in a carton and drop them high up to see if they still break, we do that except with a pumpkin, a box, and a lot of plastic bags! Our guest Pearl Rose was actually late because of public transportation, so the first almost 25 minutes was Martin in the studio by himself, which is an experiment itself. Charlie was out of town; Martin had never been in the studio on air alone before. The first break is pretty much him wasting time - trying to get Charlie on the phone and then figuring out he doesn't know how the phones works, talking to Charlie via text, playing with the soundboard, preparing the pumpkin, and killing time brutally. Pearl shows up before the commercial, reads a poem she wrote while on the terrible metro, we do the pumpkin drop, talk Minnesota, how to pronounce the word 'bag', name the pumpkin, do some news, and it's an interesting show!
