The Gospel Podcast is a daily Bible preaching & teaching ministry. The Bible says that the “preaching of the cross…unto us which are saved…is the power of God” . Our desire is to help strengthen Christians to “fight the good fight of faith” . Our prayer is that we can assist the body of Christ with digital media that will encourage participation in the ministries of the local church.
Beginning with the Beatitudes but ending with gender rolls. How did we get there from here?
Today we'll consider the preacher of this great sermon, the Lord Jesus Christ as the King preparing his subjects for the kingdom.
There are doctrinal questions that need to be answered, and today we'll consider these questions from a Bible perspective and not from a religious one.
Today we are discussing Reconciliation pt.2 continuing our series on the Beauties of Salvation and discussing some of its main doctrines. Listen live @ www.thegospelpodcast.us
Today we'll be concluding our sermon on the subject of Justification in our series on Salvation
Continuing our series on The Beauties of Salvation we now are focusing on the facet of Justification
Continuing our series on Salvation we now will be preaching on the facet of Justification
Today's message is a continuation in our series on Salvation and the subject of Adoption pt.3.
This sermon talks about the dark days we are living in and addresses the Christians peace, joy, hope etc. It also addresses Jonathan Kahn's "RETURN".
Today is July 4, 2020. Our nation has been un-blessed and we need Christians to stand up and fill in the gap and serve our nation.
Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.
Psalm 33:12
Today we continue our look into the first facet of the great diamond of salvation and the doctrine of REGENERATION.
Regeneration: Titus 3:5
A Changed Nature.
The Believer is no longer a child of Wrath but is literally Born into God’s Family and Given Christ’s Nature.
Today we continue our look into the first facet of the great diamond of salvation and the doctrine of REGENERATION.
Regeneration: Titus 3:5
A Changed Nature.
The Believer is no longer a child of Wrath but is literally Born into God’s Family and Given Christ’s Nature.
A diamond, like Salvation has many facets and the Christian should learn the facets of Salvation to present the many Beauties of Salvation.
1. Regeneration
2. Adoption
3. Justification
4. Imputation
5. Reconciliation
6. Propitiation
7. Redemption
8. Sanctification
9. Glorification
The Resurrection of Christ is the most important fact of the gospel message for without it Christ's death would have been meaningless.
Proverbs 21:30 KJV
[30] There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against the Lord .
When the counsel of God is rejected or simply not sought man looses. Anyone who has tried to go against God's counsel has come to ruin, either in this life or the next. The Christian who wants to be a success at anything will be wise to seek God's counsel.
The Bible is a book of miracles. And at the same time it is a miraculous book. One of the greatest miracles is that the Author of the book communicates personally with each reader on a personal basis.
Today we begin a series of messages showing that we need more of God in our preaching and teaching.
We live in a time where the sincere, honest preacher of God's word is neglected financially by the church. And the pastor has to remain silent concerning money because he's seen either as interested in money only or a puppet that doesn't deserve a living wage. Shame on the church!
We talk about our absence and the things God has in the works for The Gospel Podcast. And then we continue in John 2:17 and talk about having zeal for the things of God.
Jesus cleaning out the temple really is a charge against false religion for sure but more importantly an indictment against the true church.
Today we see that the water is a type of the first birth, the wine is a type of the blood of Christ, the waterpots a type of a dead hard heart, and the filling with with the water being changed to wine is a type of the Holy Ghost moving into the sinner.
Jesus' first miracle performed at a wedding has led to many false teachings. One such false teaching is that Christians should do good which leads the their salvation as well as drawing the others in and thus they too, become do-gooders thereby earning them salvation. While this is a good formula for helping each other with physical needs, Jesus came to save the sinner from the punishment of sin's dominion over mankind.
The first miracle that Jesus performed was at a marriage. This wedding is a picture of the Church's wedding day when the bride of Christ meets Jesus, her groom, and enjoys the marriage supper of the lamb.
Today we continue our series on the ten commandments. We are on Commandments #2 (Ex 20:4) "Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image" - In Commandment #1 we we're told not to have and other God's, so we can see that it's not talking about who to worship but how.
In other word, who is the One True God, how is without an image of HIM. In Ex 25 instructions are given for images to be created for the mercy seat where God will meet with the children of Israel, but the images were not to be thought of as God, or in no way an aid to worship. And this was patterned after the heavenly Heb 8:1-5.
The devastating effects of wine are listed clearly in Proverbs 23:29-35. We discuss these as well as other practical issues.
Today we learn more about the folly of wine and consider why some Christians defend the use of alcohol.
An OT illustration has a NT application. The priests were told not to drink wine in Lev. 10 and the child of God today are royal priesthood 1 Peter 2.
As we continue studying the subject of wine, we look at the next instance of someone drinking wine and getting drunk. The results are the same as Noah, sin!
This time in Gen 19 Lot's two daughters get him drunk and have relations with him and have children from their father. And if that was the end of it it would be bad enough. But generations later the results of their sin continues.
Every good gift comes from God. If you can say that the results of drinking alcohol is good then it's of God. If not...
James 1:17 KJV
[17] Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
In John chapter 2 Jesus performs his first miracle by turning water into wine. This passage is the most quoted passage to justify drinking alcoholic beverages. But in the next several message we will show from the Bible that Jesus did not give alcohol to the guests at the wedding.
Another and equally spiritual truth is hound here in this passage, that of want. In Psalm 104:15 wine is a symbol of joy and gladness. Man's joy runs out and can only be filled temporarily by the word but Jesus and the new birth satisfies for eternity.
The biggest problem in today's Christian home is the lack of Jesus. If you invite Christ to be the center of your marriage you will have a blessed home.
Today we begin the emphasis of the series on the 10 Commandments: Living the Commandments. The 10 Commandments are part of the Law, and therefore not for this dispensation. This means that we do live the commandments to earn salvation. A lost sinner has not earned his way to heaven if he lives the commandments perfectly, in fact, he seals his fate. The Bible says "not by works of righteousness, but according to his mercy he saved us" (Titus 3:5). And again; Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV [8] "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: [9] Not of works, lest any man should boast."
The point we make here today is that many a professing Christian loves their family so much they put them above God. Thus keeping their children from knowing God and being saved. Rev 20:15 these parents will watch as their children are cast into a lake of fire.
The Christian that is in fellowship with Christ and being obedient will not doubt his salvation because he knows what the Bible says.
Today we conclude the three part series of messages about Seeing Jesus, Following Jesus, and now Believing on Jesus. Unfortunately many are believing in Jesus for the wrong things.
Commandment #1 (compare Psalm 115) is very clear about creating false gods (idols) and worshipping them. The person who does this is like them, not knowing. But, false idols are not the only deities or gods created by man. One example of a false god is the theory of evolution. This is a way for someone to deny the existence of God. But the laws of nature do not exclude God in fact as the following videos shows it takes more faith to believe in evolution than to believe in God.

Eight out of the 10 Commandments (80%) are negative, “shalt not”. Even today, the gospel of Christ is 2/3 negative and yet it’s the best thing that ever happened to mankind. Therefore, we should conclude, that although negative, learning and practicing the 10 Commandments, NOT FOR SALVATION, are still beneficial for us today.
As we begin to look at the first commandment, that God, the creator, says there is no other God. Isa. 42 and Psalm 115 tells us that the false gods created by man’s hands are not alive and can help no one.
After someone sees Jesus they have to personally make a choice to follow Him. This is not the following of discipleship but of discovery.
The declaration that Jesus was the Son of God eventually became known to all. Those who believed knew that it meant that He was the Messiah. The angel declared He was the Son of God. The Father declared He was the Son of God. The Holy Ghost declared He was the Son of God. The Scriptures through the Prophets declared He was the Son of God. The devils declared He was the Son of God.
The 10 Commandments are divided into two groups. The first four are vertical to God-ward. And the second six are horizontal to man-ward.
Although the 10 Commandments were written for Israel and to Israel they were to benefit the entirety of mankind. God wanted to make Israel a kingdom of priests ministering God's laws to the nations of the world Ex. 19:6. Israel was to either convert or conquer.
Galatians 5:16 -24 is a description of a man either under the influence of the spirit of man, the spirit of a devil or the Spirit of God.
Three spirits. The Spirit of God abiding on Christ. The spirit of man exercised by Paul and Moses. The spirit of devils.
John the Baptist may not of know who he was, but Jesus did, some of the Jews suspected, and every believer today should know. That is if we rightly divide the word of truth (2 Tim 2:15).
We are continuing our series on the 10 Commandments. Israel had failed to establish the kingdom that Lord had wanted them to (Exodus 19:6). They had over 1,000 years to accomplish this and even had their Messiah come (Jesus) to establish that kingdom, failed again. What about America?
To fully understand the giving of the 10 Commandments we must understand the purpose of God throughout the ages. To understand God’s purpose throughout the ages it is important in order to understand an individual age, or period of time. The smaller periods of time cannot be separated from the whole of time, but must be considered within the context of the whole.
From the beginning of man (Gen 1 -2) God wanted for man to live free from sin in a perfect environment (the Garden of Eden) with their Creator. Mankind failed. Giving in to temptation they were driven from the garden (Gen 3:23- 24). And then began man’s descent into unspeakable sin.
This grieved God at His heart (Gen 6:6), and He destroyed the sin-filled world with a world-wide flood. He chose Noah, because he found grace in His (God’s) sight (Gen 6:8). This Noah was able to do because God saw him (Noah) righteous in that generation (Gen 7:1).
Mankind, however, continues his downward progression and in Genesis 10, under the leadership of Nimrod, and his false religion, they once again rebel against God (Gen 11:5). As a result God scattered them by confounding their language and divided them.
He then chooses Abram and separates him and his family (Gen 12:1- 3) from all of the other families and thus begins the creation of nations. Abram was known by God that he would teach not only his immediate family but his entire household (servants/employees) “to do justice and judgment” (Gen 18:18- 19).
Over time, of course, this family fails and ends up serving as slaves in Egypt. There God sends Moses to lead His chosen people out of bondage.
Now as God prepares them for their intended purpose, to be a “kingdom of priests” (Ex. 19:1- 7), He begins to instruct and equip them by separating them from all of the other nations of the earth.
The big picture of course is the purpose that God had intended in the beginning. That is to let man have a kingdom here on this earth where they would live righteous and holy lives enjoying the presence of their Creator and God.
The 10 Commandments were first given orally to Moses in Exodus 20. Later (Ex. 31; Deut. 9) it's recorded that God gave them in writing on tables of stone. These stone tablets were broken by Moses (Ex. 32). Later we are told that God calls Moses up to the mount a third time to receive the Law, and once again the 10 Commandments were written with the finger of God (Deut 10:1-4).
Three times the Law was given by God to Moses to give to the people. Do you think there were revisions each time? In other words, did Moses or God forget what God first told Moses or what He wrote the first time? I don't.
Man, and here I mean Christians, wants to subject the words of God to our private interpretation. How does this passage affect me? What does this passage mean to me? Now, there is no doubt that God's words do meet us where we are. And, further, DOES deal with our life in a real and personal way. But to think that you can spiritualize what God meant to be taken literally because of how you feel or your circumstances is not the proper way to interpret the word of God.
The 10 Commandments are as valuable today as they ever were because they are God's words. God said so and that settles it. Man however does not like authority. Brother Tony tells how he as well as every other MAN rejects authority. But God has the power to enforce His authority unlike any man or government.

Today begins our Weekend only series on the 10 Commandments. There are some things that every Christian needs to know, unfortunately too many Christians are not being taught some of these simpel doctrines.
A previously recorded message edited for The Gospel Podcast. The 10 Commandments as found in Exodus 20 still sum up the best way to live according to God. See Jesus' comments (Matt 22:37-40) and compare them with Deut 6:5 and Lev. 19:18.
An impromptu message about the importance of the local church, the pastor as a gift, attendance of church, and the hurtful and ungodly preachers claiming "Internet", "Radio", "TV", or "Podcast" pastor who STEAL the Christian from the local church.
The conclusion of the Christians fight with the devil is laid out from the beginning (Gen. 3) all the way through to how a Christian can have complete victory today.
The Devil is a relentless enemy. The Christians's battle with the devil begins the day he receives Christ as his saviour. The devouring enemy does not fight fair and neither does he fight alone. Listen today and learn who the devil recruits as his allies.
Since we've already provoked our enemy, and he has aggressively attacked us, we might as go on the offense instead of just defending ourselves. The Bible will show us how to wage an offensive war against our enemy.
The Christian is a battlefield and our enemy is the devil. We need to understand that when we TRY to serve Christ he comes after us. We, of course, have the information and the support to be victorious. Brother Tony testifies about the struggles, challenges, and victories of involved with producing and preparing daily episodes for this show. We need to armed and ready to do battle with our spiritual enemy.
An edited message from our church preached July 4, 2018. America is the greatest nation on the topside of God's green earth. The most unique, and wonderful of all other nations. But America has fallen from grace, she has forsaken her roots..
In our churches today too much time is wasted because of the replacement of scripture with illustrations. Or the pastors time is spent counseling because of a lack of obedience to the preaching ministry. Unity in serving the Lord is accomplished when the word is preached and obeyed.
Preaching Jesus is Bible preaching. The most intimate way to know the Lord Jesus is through the word of God. Ephesians 4:21 we are taught by Him, Jesus personally, by the written word, and the word preached.
Today Brother Tony tells of the purpose and how The Gospel Podcast was born in his heart. He discusses the two main scriptures that are the foundation for this podcast. 1 Cor. 1:18 & Rom. 10:14, 17. He shows that even though the lost considers preaching foolishness, we who are saved know that preaching is the power of God. He teaches that when we listen the word of God preached something happens that only God's word can perform in the life of a believer.
