In this episode of The Living Stone podcast, pastors Anna Beth Cross and Chrissy Tatum Williamson continue our Lenten podcast series, Honest Questions.

This week, Anna Beth and Chrissy discuss the meaning of Holy Week, walking through the events of Jesus’s last week of ministry and life on earth, leading up to his death and resurrection. As the Lent season comes to a close and preparation for the Easter season begins, they also reflect on the meaning of this journey to the cross for our lives today.

In this episode of The Living Stone, Pastor Chrissy Tatum Williamson and special guest Chris George continue our podcast series for Lent, Honest Questions.

This week, Chrissy welcomes special guest, Rev. Dr. Chris George, Senior Pastor of Smoke Rise Baptist Church in Georgia to discuss the rules and laws found in the Bible. With so many rules (613 commandments in the Old Testament) and then the statement that Jesus makes about the greatest commandment in Matthew 22, many of us wonder what it means to take the Bible seriously in our modern world.

In this episode of The Living Stone, pastors Anna Beth Cross and Chrissy Tatum Williamson continue our podcast series for Lent, Honest Questions.

This week, Anna Beth and Chrissy discuss questions centered around how we connect with God, especially when God feels absent in our lives. How do we feel God’s presence in our lives? How do we hear God’s voice? After discussing these questions, they share spiritual practices and disciplines that may be helpful in leading us toward a deeper relationship and connection with God.

In this episode of The Living Stone, pastors Anna Beth Cross and Chrissy Tatum Williamson continue our podcast series for Lent, Honest Questions.

This week, Anna Beth and Chrissy discuss several questions posed by members of Greystone. These questions were submitted during worship as a response to the question: What questions do you ask in the dark? Just as Nicodemus asked Jesus his own faith questions at night, often our deepest, most honest questions come in the dark of night and keep us awake. Listen to hear this discussion about these questions, not necessarily answers to them.

In this episode of The Living Stone, pastors Anna Beth Cross and Chrissy Tatum Williamson continue our podcast series for Lent, Honest Questions.

This week, Anna Beth and Chrissy ask two honest questions: Who is God? And who are we? These questions are expanded by asking: what is the nature of God and humanity in relationship with one another? Knowing this question is two-fold, this discussion breaks down some thoughts about both God and humanity based on scripture and theologies that have emerged throughout Christian history.

In this episode of The Living Stone, pastors Anna Beth Cross and Chrissy Tatum Williamson begin a new series for Lent, Honest Questions. Over the next five weeks, they will discuss some of our honest questions of faith to go along with the Lenten theme of Seeking, from A Sanctified Art LLC.

This week, Anna Beth and Chrissy go back to the basics by asking a simple but challenging question, “What is the Bible?” Sharing their own journeys and relationships with the Bible, this discussion is filled with the history of how the Bible came to be and reframing how we can faithfully read and understand it now.
