I will be giving background and historical context on Benjamin Franklins, "The way to wealth" I will summarize the piece and then I’ll determine what this means for today’s society, as well as both praising and attempting to critique what I believe to be important factors within the piece.

Both narratives detail the brutality and horrible nature of African American enslavement in the United States. The writes both cover topics of religion, abuse, and freedom among other topics.
