Let us celebrate Pride month even during these hard times that we are currently experiencing. The Black Lives Matter movement is influenced by the LGBTQ+ community. Pamela talks about her experience of why it is important to be safe when dating with a disability. She also acknowledges that coming out is an intense journey for some people and that should be respected. It is important to bring awareness when you are disabled and part of the LGBTQ+. I suggest books such as "The New Jim Crow" by Michelle Alexander and "Racism Without Racist" by Eduardo Bonilla Silva.
