They're married, they're comedians and they couldn't be more different. Living in the digital age hell bent on casting us as Red Team or Blue Team, Alex and Rachel sit down every Monday morning to talk current events through their personal lease of comedy in hopes of finding; common ground.
It’s the end of the year episode and we’re easing our way out and into the new. No big bang in this episode. 2022 was a ride to say the very least!
We kick off by talking comedy and offer our take on recently seeing Louis CK at the Atlanta Fox Theatre and then chat on four big articles from the week, mostly to pose the question, “What is Elon doing tho?!” Plus New Zealand has a new take on quitting smoking, and why one Connecticut Mom is warning about toddler screen time.

Well, to know us is to love is and this episode is a true deep dive into how we've gotten to this place as a society. Okay, perhaps that's a little hyperbolic, but you get it. How do we untangle "trickle-down economics", how we do create a balanced financial system? Why are we steps away from being in ANOTHER war and yet Joe Rogan has been the topic of conversation? We have to own personal empowerment, we have to teach and value personal responsibility. We can do it, but it's work. And no prayer candle in the world is gonna get us out of this one.
Shocker, we spend over an hour asking the question “HOW DID WE END UP HERE?” Not in our personal lives; we’re thriving obvi. The collective? We’re all on the Titanic watching the powers that be; sell off the lifeboats. The whole “How did we get here?” conversation should be left to historians + cultural studies experts but leave it to us; married comedians who haven’t slept through the night since July to answer the question. It’s noble to even ask the question; but if for-profit media and cancel culture has shown us anything; it’s that nobility has no place here.
