In part three of this series “Better Together”, Ps Janine Kubala delves deep into the art of establishing wise boundaries in relationships, drawing inspiration from timeless wisdom found in the Scriptures.
We are created for relationships. From the very beginning of creation, God recognised that it was not good for us to be alone. We were designed for connection, both with one another and with our Creator. As we journey through life, amidst the priorities grabbing our attention, it's crucial to remember that at the end of the day, it's our relationships that truly matter.
But navigating relationships isn't always smooth sailing. Conflicts inevitably arise, tensions flare, and emotions run high. Yet, as believers, we have access to a wellspring of wisdom from God Himself. As promised in James 1:5, God assures us that if we lack wisdom, we need only ask Him, and He will generously provide it without reproach.
God established boundaries from the very beginning. Just as God separated light from darkness and land from sea, He calls us to establish healthy boundaries in our relationships. These boundaries serve as pre-decisions for navigating conflict, ensuring harmony and peace in our interactions.
However, we have also been created with complex human emotions. We're not robots governed solely by logic; our feelings often hold sway over our actions. Yet, through self-reflection and reliance on God's wisdom, we can learn to discern when our emotions are leading us astray and we can learn to step back, remain silent, and seek rest when emotions run high, allowing space for clarity and reconciliation.
When we focus on the desired outcome of our relationships, by envisioning where we want to be and seeking God's guidance, we can approach conflicts with humility and grace, aiming for resolution and restoration.
By seeking God's wisdom, setting pre-decisions, and prioritizing reconciliation, we can navigate conflicts with grace and humility. Let us strive to cultivate relationships that honour God and bring mutual growth and flourishing.

We are created in the image of a God who embodies perfect relational harmony, yet as humans, navigating relationships can be a daunting task. Join us as we delved deep into the theme of relationships, in part two of our series, exploring how our thought life impacts our interactions with others.
In Genesis, we see how the knowledge of good and evil altered humanity's perspective, leading to insecurity and fear. We're naturally inclined towards negativity, but as followers of Christ, we're called to embrace positivity and love. Philippians 4 urges us to fix our thoughts on what is true and admirable, for positivity brings peace and stability to our relationships.
Together, we will evaluate our "Evil Genius Score" versus our "Insecurity Score' to highlight how often we dwell on negative thoughts and insecurities, affecting our relationships. But there's hope. By actively pursuing positive thinking and aligning our thoughts with God's truth, we can overcome potential 'Insecurity Death Spirals'.
Together we will learn to 'assume goodwill' in our interactions. Instead of jumping to conclusions or dwelling on insecurities, let's extend grace and believe the best in others. Just as we desire understanding and acceptance, so do those around us.
The message resonated deeply as we reflect on the root of insecurity — a belief that we are not enough. But as Ephesians 4 reminds us, we're called to maturity in Christ, humbly making allowances for each other's faults and striving for unity in love.
Insecurity doesn't originate from God; it's a tool of the enemy to distort our identity and hinder our relationships. But through the power of Christ's love, we can reclaim our power and our identity and break free from the grip of fear. Let's embrace God's perfect love, casting out fear and reaffirming our worth in Christ.

In a world inundated with noise, it's easy to lose sight of the profound impact our words can have on others. Our very intention to bring truth to others, without considering our priority to love them first and tame our tongue, can result in ‘truth truck road kill’ that can disrupt the journey of other people towards a relationship with God.

This can lead to becoming dishearted with God and what he is doing in our own lives.

Janine Kubala asks us the question, “In 2021, what’s your Continuity Plan?” That is, how do you plan to live in a spiritually hostile environment, where there is a continuing loss of Christian Culture. “Good intentions will not help us achieve our goals … however consistency, time, and not giving-up will!” she said.
In this challenging spiritual environment, Ps Janine revealed four elements which would confidently impact our spiritual growth and progress: 1. Identify where our faith is; 2. Place your faith in God’s Word; 3. Engage your faith in the character of God; 4. Enlist your faith in the power of His name. This is an inspirational message, offering monumental tips on how to move positively and powerfully in your life.
Ps. Andrew Kubala projects into the upcoming year and enthusiastically encourages us in how we can make an impact in 2021. Sometimes, people erroneously think that the turning over of the clock at midnight on New Year’s Eve will make a radical change in their lives! Conversely, those who create massive ‘To-Do’ lists with thousands of New Year’s resolutions are often overwhelmed, and then simply give-up.
However, Ps. Andrew shows us how to impact our upcoming year effortlessly, yet effectively through making one degree shifts in the three most important areas of our lives. That is, in attending Church, reading the Bible, and praying. This is a powerful, prophetic, and anointed message from a Pastor who has a heart for spiritually impacted lives in his congregation, his region, his country, and throughout the world.
Cameron Gullo continued the December theme of ‘Follow the Star’. The focus of his message was on the Magi following the Star to Jesus.
Cameron’s message highlighted four elements:
- That it wasn’t just the Magi that saw the star, many people would have seen the Star;
- Despite many people seeing the star, how many people actually followed the Star?
- When the Magi found Jesus (after following the Star), the Magi worshipped Jesus. Kings do not bow down and worship anyone, but these kings bowed down and worshipped a baby!
- Once they met Him, their natural reaction was to give Him gifts!
Cameron used the story of the Magi, and the four focus points, to ask questions about our relationship with God. This message is clear, concise, and uplifting. Cameron has taken complex truths and revealed the heart of God through a Christmas message.
Ps. Matt Berry encourages us to be aware of spiritual truths and reminds us that it is easy to be deceived by the spiritual lies which encircle us daily. Ps. Matt likens our natural world to a ‘comfortable prison’. That is, our temporal world is completely different to the spiritual world. The values of the temporal world contrast with God’s spiritual world.
As born-again Christians we must be careful not to become ‘captured’ by our temporal settings, i.e., an invisible prison of worldly values. Instead we need to live by a foundation of spiritual values; approaching our Heavenly Father for His heart, resources, and principles. As Christians, Ps. Matt, reminds us that we need to be a ‘problem in the prison’, presenting spiritual truths to the captives.
Ps. Janine Kubala asked the question, “What do you believe?” This is an important question because what we believe will be a powerful impact for our future! It is our responsibility to choose correct thinking and believing. Even in the Garden of Eden, after their deception by the serpent, God asked Adam and Eve, “Who told you that …?” (Genesis 3:11)
Our life can change in a moment, if we decide that it will change and by choosing what we believe. Joshua exhibited three powerful principles which impacted his future. We also have these three options if we want to radically alter our destiny.
Firstly, if we want to overcome our limitations, it is important to agree with God, come into His presence and be healed of past hurts. Secondly, renewing our mind, by questioning what we meditate on, will influence our behaviour. Thirdly, who we surround ourselves with, that is having the right ‘support crew’, will provide encouragement, assistance, and wisdom for life’s journey.
This extremely insightful message provides truths which can overwhelmingly affect your potential and fulfilment!

In this message he focuses on balancing the ministry in the Holy Spirit with the Fruit of the Holy Spirit. He reveals how the Fruit of the Holy Spirit qualifies us for the platform and for effectively ministering in the Market Place during the week. As a result of the crucifixion, people think that Jesus had been defeated and the Devil had won. However, God had a bigger picture … He was/is in control!

Vision is extremely important. Our vision influences our choices and behaviour. Choices and behaviour are dependent, not on the details of our reality, but how we SEE the details of our reality!
Whilst there is a voice higher than God’s voice in our lives, we will always have a PERSPECTIVE PROBLEM! When our feelings, circumstances, and the opinions of those around us are elevated above God’s word, we are never going to see ourselves and our futures the right way.

God wants us to be blessed and, because we are in His Kingdom, in the House of God, we are incredibly blessed! Not only with Salvation, but with so many other things: The Gifts of the Holy Spirit; the Fruit of the Spirit; His peace (even in challenging times); having a relationship with God; being able to communicate with God through prayer, healing, deliverance, provision … just to name a few!
Let’s not take God’s blessings for granted!
