What if the one thing we resist the most is the one thing that holds the key to our freedom? Forgiveness, in the eyes of the world, can seem like giving in—letting others off the hook. But in the Course’s teaching, forgiveness is the most powerful tool for liberation. Lesson 121 tells us, "Forgiveness is the key to happiness." Why? Because as long as we hold grievances, we’re locked into a cycle of pain. We perceive through the lens of hurt, and the world mirrors back that suffering. But forgiveness dissolves the veil. It unshackles us from the past. It reveals that no one is truly guilty—that what we perceived as attack was actually a call for love. Chapter 30 puts it plainly: "Forgiveness recognizes what you thought your brother did to you has not occurred." This isn’t denial. It’s the correction of perception. We’re choosing to see with the Holy Spirit’s vision instead of the ego’s. Forgiveness doesn’t change the past—it changes how we see it. And in doing so, it transforms our experience of the present. Week 5: Practicing Holy LeisureKey Idea: Holy leisure is not idleness, but a sacred rhythm of life that honors rest, reflection, and divine presence.
We tend to fill our lives with tasks, calendars, obligations. But the Course teaches us that we have the power to “unmake” the world we made. In Week 5, we reflect on Holy Leisure—a sacred approach to time that includes rest, reflection, and surrender.
Lesson 155 reminds us: “I will step back and let Him lead the way.” We are not meant to charge forward all the time. Sometimes the most powerful action is to wait in loving awareness and quiet.
The Rules for Decision reinforce this: we always have a choice. We can continue to repeat the patterns of busyness, or we can decide to see our day as holy. A day of rest. A day of peace. A day guided by Spirit.

Closing April's Theme: Final Week: The Miracle of Seeing Differently: Extending Love Key Idea: Miracles occur when we choose to see differently and extend love where fear once reigned. This week, we step into our power as miracle workers by recognizing that every shift in perception from fear to love brings light to the world. This week, we explore a profound truth: "Miracles are seen in light." Not in darkness, not in judgment, not in fear. Only in light. And what is light but love? This love is not a feeling that comes and goes with circumstances. It is the steady presence of God within us, the truth that never left, even when we turned away. To see differently means we no longer interpret our experiences through the lens of the ego. We no longer ask, "What did they do to me?" but instead, "What am I being called to see with love?" This shift is the miracle. The Course tells us we are never upset for the reason we think. That upset is always a call for love, for light, for clarity. Week 2: Let Me See with New Eyes: Choosing the Holy Spirit’s VisionKey Idea: Shift from the ego’s limited perception to the Holy Spirit’s vision of love and wholeness.
This week, we explore a profound shift in perception: seeing with the eyes of the Holy Spirit rather than the ego. The ego sees separation, lack, and judgment. The Holy Spirit sees unity, love, and wholeness. In Lesson 189, we are reminded that the love of God is not something we need to find externally. It is already within us, waiting for us to remove the blocks to its awareness.

April invites us to explore the profound shift in perception that occurs when we choose to see through the lens of the Holy Spirit rather than the ego. A Course in Miracles reminds us that “Perception selects, and makes the world you see.” Through this month’s exploration, we will practice taking responsibility for our perception, recognizing that how we see the world is a reflection of the choices we make in our mind.
Week 1: Perception is a Choice: Taking ResponsibilityKey Idea: You are not the victim of the world you see—you are responsible for your perception. By accepting this, you reclaim your power and open the way for miracles.
This week, we are invited into a profound teaching that can feel both empowering and challenging: You are responsible for what you see. At first glance, this may seem overwhelming. Does this mean I’ve caused all the pain and chaos in my life? Not in the way the ego would have you believe. It’s not about blame—it’s about choice. What Jesus is telling us here is that we always have a choice in how we perceive what’s happening. We can see with the ego—through fear, judgment, guilt—or we can choose the vision of the Holy Spirit, which sees only love, innocence, and unity.

Week 4: Resting in God: The Power of SurrenderKey Idea: True rest comes when we surrender fully to God’s love. In releasing control, we discover peace beyond understanding.
We live in a world that glorifies busyness. We are constantly told that if we are not doing, fixing, or controlling, we are falling behind. Yet, A Course in Miracles teaches us something radically different: our strength is found not in striving, but in surrender.
In Chapter 3, Section II. “The Voice for God”, Jesus reminds us that we are the Kingdom of Heaven, but we have let the belief in darkness enter our minds. The restlessness we feel—the stress, the overthinking, the need to control—comes from believing we are separate from God.

Most of us have been taught that strength means control. We associate power with making things happen, pushing through, and resisting what we don’t like. But in truth, strength is not about force—it is about surrender.
A Course in Miracles teaches us that when we resist, we suffer. When we let go, we receive. Lesson 320 reminds us: “My Father gives all power unto me.” But this power is not the ego’s idea of control. It is the power of surrender—the ability to trust that God’s plan is unfolding perfectly, even when we do not understand it.

We have all experienced moments of uncertainty—times when we don’t know what lies ahead or how things will turn out. The temptation in these moments is to grasp for control, to defend ourselves against imagined threats, and to try to force outcomes. But the Course teaches us that true peace comes from doing the opposite. Lesson 135 reminds us: “If I defend myself I am attacked.”

Session Highlights:
* Meditation with Rev. Deb Phelps: We began with our gentle meditation for this series, "I am here." This week Rev. Deb included ambient nature sounds and chimes with the meditation. We are simply present in the here and now as we connect with the Holy Spirit.
* Discussion on the "Truly Helpful" Prayer: Rev. Deb recapped what we have studied so far including highlighting the previous week's readings. Rev. Deb and Rev. Paul shared personal reflections and stories highlighting the transformative power of trusting in the Holy Spirit's Guidance.
* Exploring the Prayer's Third Line: The focus was on understanding and embodying the third line of the prayer. This includes basic key principles in receiving Holy Spirit's Voice: Willingness, Forgiveness, Quieting the Mind, Asking for Guidance, Patience and Practice as just a few.
* Reflection and Journaling Exercise: We delved into the third line of the prayer, engaging in a reflective exercise designed to deepen our understanding and personal connection to its message.
* Reading Assignment: To prepare for our next session, we encourage you to read The Song of Prayer, 2. Forgiveness, III. Forgiveness-for-Salvation.
Homework Assignments:
* Reflection on the Third Sentence: Continue to ponder the third sentence of the prayer. Allow its meaning to resonate with you throughout the week.
* Practice the "I am here" Meditation: Regularly engage in the meditation shared by Rev. Deb to enhance your presence and awareness.
* The Optional Assignment: If you chose to work with the previous optional assignment, focusing on being helpful to someone in your life, consider what comes to you now as to what to say and what to do in this situation? Trust the direction from Holy Spirit.

My apologies for not being in touch for awhile. Since the last newsletter, we’ve welcomed our third grandchild, a boy named Gideon. He was a delight to hold and be with as well as his siblings over Easter. Deb had a health scare but I am happy to say that after many tests and a biopsy, that it was not cancer and she is doing well. It was a tough couple of weeks as we navigated that situation and we are both relieved with the current outcome. Thank you for your love and support of us and MiraclesOne.

Merry Christmas Course Lovers, Now that we're nearing the Christmas holiday, I find it so appropriate to be reviewing the "What Is a Miracle?" reading because of the Miracle's similarity to the light of the North Star. For ages, people have used the light of the North Star as a way of guiding them home after being away on a journey. In similar fashion, God placed the Light of the Miracle within us to be used as a way to guide us back to our home in heaven with Him. If you have ever experienced the painful loss of a pet whom you loved with all your heart, then this is the ACIM Insight video for you. This morning while working on Lesson 296: The Holy Spirit speaks through me today; I was completely surprised by an unexpected path of healing that the Holy Spirit took me down. Within a few minutes I found myself once again grieving the loss of a pet I lost four years ago this month. As I worked through the experience with the Holy Spirit, I received many messages that I believe were meant for all of us to hear. I think the experience is a great example of one of the many ways that the Holy Spirit can heal and communicate through us in an effort to help all.

Hello Course Students, In this week’s episode of A Course in Miracles I touch on the Lessons we worked this past week, Lessons 269 through 275, plus I shared insights on the reading, What is the Christ? I personally found this to be pleasant and joyful reading because Jesus explains very clearly in just a few paragraphs exactly what our reality is with God, the Holy Spirit and one another. The supporting Lessons are also exciting because they’re teaching us how to awaken the dormant psychic abilities we all have, so that we can learn how to see and hear the Christ within us. How amazing is that?!

Over the past week we worked with Lessons 255 through 261 in the Workbook for Students, and reviewed the reading, What Is the Body? In this reading, Jesus explains that we, as the Son of God, made an image of a body for ourselves that is used to fence us off from the awareness of heaven. It is also a home of fear that has been distorted in our minds to be a place of safety. In this episode of Insights on A Course in Miracles, I share an insight I received from the Holy Spirit about our awakening process. As students of A Course in Miracles, our curiosity has us peeking over the fence line to see what is on the other side. Of course, it’s the Holy Spirit who is gently calling us to come home. One day, we will happily jump over the fence and run joyfully across the lawns to heaven back home. What a wonderful thought!

In this episode of Insights on A Course in Miracles, we take a look at the illusion of the world and the belief in the illusion of "sin". These topics were inspired from the lessons we worked on over the past two weeks (Lessons 241 through 254) and their respective readings, What Is the World? and What is Sin? Once again, Jesus reminds us that the world and everything we experience within it is an illusion. I found it helpful to relate it to a novel that an author might write. In many novels, whole new worlds, lands, beings and sets of mythical laws are created from the imagination of an author. The readers then lose themselves in the stories for their own entertainment. Jesus explains that we did something similar as the Son or Daughter of God. We drafted an illusion of a physical world that blocks out the awareness of God, then allowed ourselves to become lost within the journey almost indefinitely. Then, to add more drama to the story, our ego minds drafted painful beliefs about ourselves and others such as evilness, sinfulness, and guilt. What a mess! Thank God, Jesus has given us a solution to waking up from the story and closing the book once and for all. Keep working those Lessons!

This past week we worked on Lessons 234 through 240 in the Workbook for Students. One of the things that many students struggle with when going through the Lessons for the first time is the struggle to give up the thinking mind. Prior to working with A Course in Miracles, the ego mind became used to trying to figure things out with ourselves and our lives through analysis and contemplation. A key thing to realize is that this is only a delaying maneuver and will only waste time. Try to recognize when you are doing this and then stop and give yourself permission to set it aside. The Lessons we are working with now are teaching us how to go within and simply commune with God. Remember to give up your thoughts and to practice having no thoughts during your meditations, and then just wait for the Holy Spirit to bring forth waves of peace within you. These are gifts from God that will fill you with joy in the manner of minutes instead of hours or days of wasted contemplation.

Greetings Course Students,
In this episode of Insights on A Course in Miracles is a reminder that we are learning how to let the Light of God do the forgiving work for us. In my experience, this is most easily accomplished through our practice of meditation. When we go within to consult with the Holy Spirit, he will remind us to forget about "trying" to forgive but instead to practice reaching the Light and letting It "do" the forgiving for us. This is a big difference when compared to the way that we were taught about the practice of forgiveness by many religious traditions. The practice is not easy at first because we are so used to doing things for ourselves. So we practice during our meditations in "letting go" and "trusting God" to do it for us. That is the focus of the Lessons we practice now.

Over the past two weeks we worked through Lessons 199 through 212 in the Workbook for Students. In this episode of Insights on A Course in Miracles I focus on the review lesson 212 which takes us back to a review of Lesson 192: I have a function God would have me fill. In this lesson, Jesus reminds us of the importance of forgiveness. I also share an experience I had with the Holy Spirit this morning where He helped me to heal an Inner Child that had been stuck in pain for many years. I am grateful for the unexpected lesson and healing experience. Thank you, Holy Spirit.

This past week we worked on Lessons 192 through 198 in the Workbook for Students. However, there was one Lesson that stood out and it was 196: It can be but myself I crucify. Within this lesson Jesus addresses a huge problem we all struggle with and that is the habit of having critical thoughts about other people. He explains that this habit keeps us trapped within the belief in separation and ultimately delays our awakening from the dream. Within this episode of Insights on A Course in Miracles, I take a deeper look at this particular form of the problem and offer suggestions on how to break ourselves free of it.

Hello Course Students,
One of the biggest problems we all struggle with throughout our lives are feelings of guilt and shame. They are a part of the nightmare we seem to be experiencing during our belief in our abandonment and separation from God. Over the past week we worked with Lessons 185 through 191 in the Workbook for Students. Lesson 190: I choose the joy of God instead of pain, really helps us to look at the problem of guilt and recognize how we've been in the habit of choosing pain in this form. Fortunately, as in all the Lessons, Jesus also provides us with the solution to giving up the weapon of guilt. As we learn how to do this with the help of the Holy Spirit, we eventually awaken from the nightmare. Yay!

I felt deeply drawn to Lesson 183, I will be still an instant and go home, then guided to talk about it for unknown reasons until I did the actual video recording. What came out brought tears to my eyes and joy to my heart because I felt the Love of God speaking through me in the moment. Our useless journeys down many paths of misery are almost over, for the suitcase of Love has been packed within us and is ready to show us the way home!

Uniting with God every day is the skill we have been learning and honing with our practice of the Lessons this past week. In their own special way, Lessons 171 through 177 have had us specifically working toward the space of having our own personal experience of meeting the Divine. This is a skill that Jesus learned while he walked the Earth ages ago and now, he is teaching us the same skill - how exciting is that! Lesson 174 has us review Lesson 157: Into His Presence would I enter now, which focuses entirely on sharing the same message. We do not need to wait months or years to meet God personally, we can do it NOW just by merely practicing Lessons such as this one, once or twice a day in quiet anticipation for our Creator to reveal Himself to us.

This week we worked with Lessons 164 through 170 and learned about our wonderful Father in heaven. Lesson 169 - By grace I live. By grace I am released; shares insights about His love for us that just made my heart feel happy inside. Jesus explains that God's grace is a love for us that goes beyond all imagining. We have a Creator that loves us unconditionally - no matter what we seem to do within the dream; the mistakes and sins we think we make. And in that loving grace, He gave each an everyone of us the Holy Spirit to help us forgive the world and prepare our minds to accept our oneness with Him at last. Over the past week we worked on Lessons 157 through 163. In this video, I focus on Lesson 163 because it addresses the illusion of death in detail. During our study group session, we had a fantastic sharing and discussion around the fear of death that we all grew up with and how A Course in Miracles has helped us to heal the problem. In my own work with the Holy Spirit, I experienced a wonderful healing around the terror I once felt at the prospect of facing my own death. God Himself actually visited with me many years ago to heal me of the fear. To hear more about it, checkout this video.

In fact, performing miracles for yourself is much easier than you think and can be practiced in a few minutes every day. In this week's episode of Insights on A Course in Miracles, I highlight one very important Lesson out of the review Lessons (143-149) we worked with this past week. In Lesson 143, Jesus asks us to review Lesson 125 - In quiet I receive God's Word today. Considering the recent tragic shootings at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, this review couldn't have come at a better time. At a time when our hearts feel broken and we are unsure of what we can do to facilitate positive change in the world, we learn that it is possible to hear God speak to us. Reasons like these emphasize the importance of learning how to listen now more than ever! As we continue to practice and learn how to hear Him, the potential positive impact to our lives and the lives of those around us is unlimited. Over the past week we worked on Lessons 136 though 142 and received a lot of great information about what is going on with us in the illusion, and how to work on making corrections with the help of the Holy Spirit. Jesus shares that it is really us who makes ourselves sick and not the outside world. He also explains that we can work with the Holy Spirit to make the decision stop making ourselves sick. Greetings Everyone,
All of this week's Lessons had us reviewing ideas that focused on leading us down the path to joy. They included forgiveness, remembering the truth, we were originally created happy, and our Teacher is here to help us with the whole journey. If you've been experiencing a miserable life, despair, a sense of hopelessness, and been feeling alone with your problems, then make sure you study and practice Lesson 121 frequently and well. It is a classic and speaks well to the journey of despair many go through and, more importantly, the way out. If you're one of these people, dedicate yourself to working with your Internal Teacher, the Holy Spirit, as much as possible. The more you do, the quicker you will find a happier life for yourself. It's a promise from Jesus himself.

In Lessons 100 through 107, Jesus shares with us wonderful new ideas, some even surprising, to ponder. Sin and pain are but illusions and are not necessary. We have an unnecessary fear of God that prevents us from experiencing His joy. And we can choose to bypass these illusions anytime we like to discover the truth beneath. Through the practice of frequent meditation, as these lessons are teaching us, we can find our hidden joy, happiness, peace, security, and love of our True Selves. Once the truth about ourselves is discovered, we can bring it back into our daily walk of joy within the world.

As we worked through Lessons 94 through 100 this past week we saw that Jesus had us practice going deep to literally feel the Christ within, hear the Holy Spirit Speak to us, and experience the happiness God gave us in our creation. He also addresses the problem of losing focus during mediations and the periodic practicing of the lessons. The big message being, don't throw in the towel. When you catch yourself forgetting to practice, forgive yourself then re-engage immediately. Don't use excuses to delay your mind healing. Speaking of mind healing, I experienced an unexpected mind healing during my practice of Lesson 100 a few mornings ago. The Holy Spirt began communicating with me about why I was looking forward to meeting my long-time Star Trek hero, Captain Kirk (William Shatner), in a few hours at a convention gathering. The healing was both unexpected and wonderful to receive which I share about in this video. It was a great reminder of one of the many gifts the Holy Spirit can grace us with as we learn how to let Him help us to awaken from the dream.

I found Lessons 87 through 93 to be an wonderful group of lessons because of the variety of definitions that were touched upon. They included: true perception, seeing the light, seeing the miracle, grievances making darkness, vision, strength of light and joy of light. Most of these terms refer to learning how to use the tool of light to save ourselves from misery. In this episode of Insights on A Course in Miracles, I share my insights on these terms and how you can use the tool of your inner light to collapse time and heal yourself from sadness within a few minutes. This week we were introduced to seven fantastic lessons within the Workbook for Students. Within Lessons 66 through 72, Jesus reminded us that there are only two minds available for us to listen to: the mind of the ego or the mind of God. He also clearly has us specifically practicing techniques that will help us learn how to reach the Light and the Voice of the Holy Spirit during our practice meditations. If you're struggling to reach either one, make sure you review the cloud technique he gave us in Lesson 69. It is a very helpful technique. Lastly, in a later lesson, he actually has us practicing both seeing and listening for God at the same time. You're almost there! Keep practicing!

In Lessons 45 through 51 we are given yet another set of very powerful lessons, plus a recap of the first five lessons put in simple, easy to understand language. As we continue to learn how to go within and reach the mind of God within us, we will also learn how powerful His presence is. Each personal experience with the light of God within, gifts us with a strength we have never known before. The strength comes in the feeling of safety, surety, certainty, calmness, peace, and relaxation. We begin to realize that we truly have nothing to fear - ever! How wonderful it is to learn that we can go within and be healed within five, ten or fifteen minutes of practice. It is quite possible to heal depression, anxiety, worry, and stress within a few minutes as opposed to days or weeks of waiting it out. We truly are not victims of the world we experience!

As I worked through Lessons 38 through 44 over the past week, I became very excited to be re-working them again because I remembered how truly powerful they've been in my life as a healing force and I'm excited to see the same for you. For the first time in the series of lessons we've been working with, this set begins to take you within to find the light and presence of God within you very literally. Once truly found and experienced on a personal level, your life will have changed forever. The power of vision and light of God within you is capable of healing anything very quickly. Once you get the hang of it, you will learn that the light can quickly replace anxiety with peace, fear with security, and worry with joy within a few moments of meditation. It truly is a miracle at your disposal in any time of need.

Over the past week, we worked with Lessons 24 through 30. You may have noticed that the first three focused on detaching our minds from the world and attack thoughts relentlessly running through our minds, while the last four made a pleasant shift toward the gift of real vision. It is in these lessons that Jesus continues to make the distinction between seeing with the body’s eyes and learning how to see truly with the spiritual part of our mind. He even shared with me an example of how people who have had a near death experience can help us to easily understand the distinction between the two. This is an exciting time indeed because as we take these beginning steps toward seeing the light of God in everything, the work will eventually free our minds from misery and fill them with joy and freedom.

Our study and practice of Lessons 10 through 16 within the Workbook for Students this past week has introduced us to several key concepts that we may find challenging to swallow. Some of them include: our thoughts determine the world we see, God did not create the world we see, seeing with the body's eyes is not really seeing, and we will see little edges of light around objects and have many "light episodes". Regardless of your reactions, whether disturbed or not, keep in mind that Jesus advised us in the introduction to keep working with the lessons as stated. It is in doing them that eventually they will show us the concepts are true.

Seeing your inner Christmas light is the gift of choice this holiday season and the focus of this week’s episode of Insights on A Course in Miracles. In the Text section, Christmas as the End of Sacrifice (T-15.XI, pg. 327), Jesus tells us that the Christmas star can be seen and found within, and it will save us once discovered through our practice of meditation.
When I asked Jesus during a personal meditation, what he would have us study this week, he very clearly responded with, I will there be light, which happens to be Lesson 73 in the Workbook for Students. I encourage everyone to diligently practice this lesson this week to invoke the healing power of the light to reveal Itself to you. It will be the best Christmas gift you could ever receive and one you will never forget, indeed.

In the Text section, Practicing the Holy Instant (T-15.IV, pg. 309), Jesus tells us that the experience of the Holy Instant is something we can learn to do now, and that it is easier than we think. It takes a willingness to practice going within, a willingness to let our littleness go for a few moments, having an open mind when we do practice, and a true desire and intent to receive the gift from the Holy Spirit.
When we do receive the gift, it will be a personal experience of perceiving our own Magnitude as God created us.
How wonderful is that! I can’t think of a better Christmas gift to give and receive this season. To compliment your practicing, try working with LESSON 227: This is my holy instant of release (pg. 405) this week.

If you would like to enjoy the Thanksgiving Holiday Season with a little more joy in your heart this year, then keep this Course quote in mind, “Only appreciation is an appropriate response to your brother. Gratitude is due him for both his loving thoughts and his appeals for help, for both are capable of bringing love into your awareness if you perceive them truly” (T-12.I.6).
This is an excerpt from The Judgment of the Holy Spirit in the Text, Chapter 12, Section I, and it reminds us to be mindful of our judgments of our brothers. Jesus further explains that we really do not know what is going on with anyone else and that it is very hazardous for us to fall into the trap of analyzing others. The best thing to do is to be mindful of our thoughts and to immediately call upon the Holy Spirit for help anytime we have a fearful thought about others. Taking a pause to listen to the Holy Spirit will help us to remember to be compassionate with our thoughts and hearts this holiday season. I invite you to practice Lesson 126: All that I give is given to myself, to support your choice for compassion as well.

One of the interesting parody's noted was how our annual tradition of putting on a costume, scaring ourselves and others in good fun, and then taking the costume off to resume our normal lives relates to our journey into the costume of fear as Son's and Daughter's of God. We fell asleep, put on costumes in the form of bodies, spend our lives scaring ourselves and others, then awaken from our costumes at some point in this lifetime or the next.
One of the lesssons in the Workbook for Students that is perfect for Halloween and in helping us to awaken from our costumes is Lesson 48: There is nothing to fear. It is a simple prayer that Jesus asks us to us as a mantra throughout the day. If practiced well you will notice powerful results indeed.

Greetings Mighty Companions,
If you are not happy then your past learnings must not be working and you must be following the wrong teacher. If you are tired of not feeling happy then, perhaps, you may be ready to begin following the right Teacher.
This is one of the key concepts we examine in this week's reading, in the Text, Chapter 8, Section I. The Direction of the Curriculum. Each and every one of us has been taught the bad habit of giving up our peace in exchange for the hope of changing circumstances outside of us to in order to obtain peace.
Unfortunately, it does not work, no matter how long or hard we try. The good news is that there is a way out! There is a new path and Teacher that we can begin to follow to change our lives for the better once and for all. Yay! I was excited to record this insights video because the Course reading we examined, The Extension of the Kingdom (T-7.IX), was full of information about how our role in Heaven works. Jesus helped me make it a little easier to put it into perspective with an analogy of us unzipping the cloak of our bodies and allowing it to fall away to reveal the light of our Spirit within. We then suggest two lessons within the Workbook for Students to help us personally experience the truth of our reality in the kingdom of Heaven now! They are Lesson 61: I am the light of the world and Lesson 91: Miracles are seen in light.

We then tie the relatable ideas to key points Jesus brings to light in the Course reading, The Unbelievable Belief (T-7.VIII). As many of you are aware, I felt guided to bring the Miracle Flights series to a close and to transition into sharing insights about A Course in Miracles through these video recordings. They will be titled, Insights on A Course in Miracles.
In this video I share different perspectives and insights I received from Jesus during a channeling regarding the Text reading, The Totality of the Kingdom (T-7.VII). Jesus explained that we as the One Sonship used the power of the Mind of God to imagine different dimensions and that they were all nothing more than a dream that would one day vanish into the nothingness from which they came.
Additionally, the reading gives us several reminders to not believe what we see others doing in the world because it only reinforces our belief in the experience of separation from God and each other as well.
At the end of my dialogue with Jesus, he recommended we review and practice Lesson 95: I am one Self, united with my Creator this week to help us to have a personal experience of our oneness with God and each other.

In this week’s episode of Miracle Flights we reviewed Healing and Teaching in chapter 5, section IV of the Text and relate the key principles to the use of Common Traffic Advisory Frequencies in aviation.
One of the most difficult skills we will ever have to learn in our lifetime is the ability to hear the Voice of the Holy Spirit within our brothers and sisters instead of the voices of their egos. Watch this episode to learn more about this problem and how we can overcome it with mindfulness, deep listening, and the help of the Holy Spirit.

Greetings Student Pilots!
What a wonderful section we finished studying in this week's episode of Miracle Flights - The Characteristics of God's Teachers (M-4). Continuing from the previous episode, we covered the remaining sections II through X of the characteristics which discussed honesty, tolerance, gentleness, joy, defenselessness, generosity, patience, faithfulness, and open-mindedness.
What was exciting to learn, is as we develop our relationship with the Holy Spirit, one of the first things He helps us to develop within ourselves is a foundation of trust. And, to be clear, it is a foundation of trust in something much greater than ourselves. It is a trust in the Holy Spirit and God and that they have everything under control and our best interests in mind.
Additionally, as the foundation of trust grows, the remaining characteristics automatically begin to develop within us as well. How cool is that! In this week's episode of Miracle Flights, I explain how the legs in a pilot's navigation log relate to the six stages of trust we develop over a lifetime of work with the Holy Spirit. In the Manual for Teachers, Jesus explains that one of the first characteristics we begin to develop as Teacher's of God is trust in the Holy Spirit and God. The evolution of relinquishing our trust from the ego and idols of the world in exchange for something much greater takes us through six levels of trust development or growth. They include a period of undoing, a period of sorting out, a period of relinquishment, a period of settling down, a period of unsettling, and finally, a period of achievement. This facinating read indicates that the learning process of trust can actually take us a lifetime or more to fully develop. In this week's episode of Miracle Flights we take a look at the procedures pilots follow when they lose radio communications with air traffic controllers while flying in the clouds and how they relate to The Rules for Decision in Chapter 30, Section I of the Text.
If you would like to have a simple list of steps to follow to help guarantee that you have a happy day, then the Rules for Decision are for you! In this section, Jesus gives us specific instructions on how to start our day right with the Holy Spirit, make a decision to not make any decisions without the Holy Spirit, and how to gently turn ourselves around when we catch ourselves resisting the Holy Spirit's guidance. Hello Student Pilots!
In this week's episode of Miracle Flights we take a look at how an aircraft holding procedure relates to the way the ego places us into the endless holding pattern of life. The race track pattern is designed to continuously divert us from discovering the truth about who and what we really are as sons and daughters of God.
In the Text reading, The Guide to Salvation (T-5.III), Jesus explains that the ego designed the concept of time in an attempt to delay us forever from awakening from the illusion of our separation from God. Fortunately, he also explains that the Holy Spirit, Whom God placed within each of us, is His answer to the problem of the ego. Furthermore, the Holy Spirit is a perfect Teacher for everyone Who works with us at our level through symbols, messages, and insights that we will understand. His plan for our gentle awakening is easy and joyful one, provided we have the willingness to ask and listen for His guidance. Jesus clearly states that the Holy Spirit is our Guide to salvation Who will guide us out of the ego's holding pattern of time toward our final approach to the eternity of Heaven.
To continue to develop your skill in learning how to listen to the Voice of the Holy Spirit within you, I would recommend working with Lesson 49: God's Voice speaks to me all through the day in the Workbook for Students. It's a wonderful practice that will eventually lead you to the personal experience of literally hearing your Inner Voice speak to you. It's truly a miracle experience you will never forget and well worth the effort!

This week we take a look at what it means to be a Teacher of God. Our reference readings are Manual for Teachers, Introduction, 1. Who are God's Teachers?, and 2. Who are Their Pupils?
We think that being a Teacher of God is difficult. However, within these readings, Jesus makes it very simple and tells us it is not that complicated. As he says, "The role of teaching and learning is actually reversed in the thinking world." We have to remember that teaching is a constant process as it goes on every moment of the day which is different from what we are used to thinking in a typical instructor and student relationship. For example, as I share in this week's video as an instructor pilot, like myself, and the work I do with my students. In the end, we are all teachers and we are all students. Take a look at this week's readings and videos and feel free to share with me in our email groups or Facebook group.

Hello Everyone!
I was so excited to record the Miracle Flight video today because the last two readings from the Obstacles to Peace: The Fourth Obstacle: The Fear of God (T-19.IV.D) and The Lifting of the Veil (T-19.IV.D.i) contain the secrets a simple awakening now!
Each and every one of us takes-off into the cloudy sky of life and we fly around aimlessly for an entire lifetime all the while forgetting about the radiant sun above, shining away in a beautiful blue sky. In these readings, Jesus explains that we've made a secret pact with the ego to never fly up an through the veil of the clouds, but instead, to fly blindly until one day we lye down the body in death. And then we do it all over again in the next lifetime.
Fortunately, Jesus also explains that this obstacle, and all the other obstacles can be easily overcome if we but have the willingness to learn how to go within and see the light of the Face of Christ within us. Additionally, to make it easier to learn how to perceive this inner light and hear the Voice of God, we must make it a priority to forgive our brothers and sisters for what they did not do. Remember, everything we see and believe about the world is an illusion!
To compliment these two readings, take a look at section 3. Forgiveness - The Face of Christ in the Clarification of Terms and Lesson 121: Forgiveness is the key to happiness.

Hello Miracle Flight Pilots!
In today's episode of Miracle Flights, I use weather radar display information in a cockpit to explain key points and takeaways from two readings within the Text: The Second Obstacle: The Belief the Body is Valuable for What It Offers (T-19.IV.B) and The Attraction of Pain (T-19.IV.B.i).
In the first reading we learn that we believe the body is valuable because of the seeming pleasures that it has to offer, and that we are afraid to give them up in exchange for the peace of heaven. We believe to do so would be too much of a sacrifice and would leave us homeless. Despite this twisted belief system, Jesus points out that the body's experience of pleasure always leads to pain, and that we really do not want to be doing this.
In the second reading we learn that our attraction to the body is really an attraction to a life of pain. The way out is to have a little willingness to give the Holy Spirit the whole idea of sacrifice. Our plan of awakening that the ego has us following is a painful one that ends in death. We are assured that the Holy Spirit's flight plan of awakening is much easier and happier. Our job is to select the Holy Spirit to be our first officer and give Him a chance to show us a friendlier route.

Hello Course Students!
In this week's Miracle Flight episode, I explain how recovering from unusual flight attitudes in airplanes relates to key problems we have when it comes to obtaining peace and our unconscious attraction to guilt.
In the Text reading, The First Obstacle (to Peace): The Desire to Get Rid of It (T-19.IV.A), Jesus shares several key points: our desire to live in separate bodies is the first obstacle, we are unwilling to join with the Holy Spirit in peace, and this problem is not difficult to correct if we become willing to allow the miracle of light to come forth and begin to heal our minds.
In The Attraction of Guilt (T-19.IV.A.i) sub-section Jesus explains: our attraction to being in bodies also makes us feel unconsciously guilty, the secret to experiencing true love is to learn how to see only love in everyone else, and deciding to get into a state of mind that desires communion with everyone is the way out!
Since these two readings were re-caps of what everyone studied while I was away last week, I invite everyone to continue building on these lessons by studying the next two pieces. They are The Second Obstacle: The Belief the Body is Valuable for What it Offers (T-19.IV.B) and The Attraction of Pain (T-19.IV.B.i).

Choosing Peace - 8/15/17
In this episode, Rev. Deb, Rev. Gayle, and Mari refer to the events in Charlottesville and how we need to ask 'When am I ready to choose peace?" We must teach, i.e. DEMONSTRATE peace so we can learn it. We need to move out of talking about peace, posting to social media about peace, ruminating about peace and into the active choosing within our minds with the Holy Spirit. We are so used to seeking peace out in the world. The ego wants us to resolve the problem in the world. Instead, let us refer to our Inner Teacher and He will guide us in what we must do next. Peace is the way, ALWAYS. HOw much do you desire peace? Do not merely say the words but mean that you do want the peace of God. Now, are you ready to choose peace?
