We are back! The studio is 90% finished and we are ready to bring you regular content again! Thank you for your patience! Cydney, is on vacation so I had the chance to sit with my cousin, Cathy, for a more serious conversation. Many are stunned by the news of the tragic loss of star Columbus Blue Jackets player, Johnny Gaudreau, and his brother Matt, and the unimaginable grief for loved ones. Cathy, knows this pain all too well, also losing her child in the prime of his life. So today, we talk grief. How do you cope with the loss of a child? How do you go on?
What does a middle-aged Mom really want for Mother’s Day? You might be surprised! But don’t sweat it or you’ll get B.O. for sure! We talk about that (deodorant fails), plus the emotions of moving, and the attraction to smelling like your Dad! Lots of sniffing going on!
Today we dip our toes into the shallows and all sorts of odd topics like…where to live if WW3 was to occur, Costco is now in the gold businesss, there is a Kardashian who enjoys her own breast milk, and there is a reason store restrooms are stinky! Bet you didn’t see that wave coming!

That also gave plenty of time to consider TV love shows and their successes vs. online dating, and women’s fertility and how that could play into who they vote for. Yes, this is a mixed bag of a show! Just the way you like it!

We are rolling right into Thanksgiving, and from this point forward the holidays are officially underway at full speed! So, why do people seem to care less and less about them? We chat traditions today and whether the younger generations care all that much about them. And, the universal need to have love has never been more relevant. Would you rent a boyfriend or girlfriend?
A big wedding is about to happen in our family, so today we chat a bit about the Mother of the Groom dance tune, the ugly cry, kids at weddings, and assorted pre-wedding topics. We also talk about parenting in these times, and the awkward mall massages and who gets them, plus more!
What is happening to civility? From the “Smash and Grab” store robberies, to the rude workers, the nosey neighbors, lack of common courtesy, and so on, and so on, it is getting crazy! We have many observations, and few solutions, of course. Heck, if you listen to us you already know that!
