The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets hosted the Pitt Panthers Thursday night in the home finale and what turned out to be the regular-season finale. The Jackets were on the losing end as we were unable to find an answer to Pitt's running game and were not able to mount a rushing attack of our own. This was made worse by some very one-sided officiating, and I sensed some bad vibes in the following 24 hours. I also take a look at this weekend's Power 5 conference championships and various playoff scenarios.

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets went to Raleigh, NC this past weekend and fell in a hard-fought game to the N.C. State Wolfpack, 23-13. The performance was a bit of a mixed bag, but the Jackets' ground game continued to shine despite missing star freshman Jahmyr Gibbs. On the other side of the ball, the defense held the second consecutive opponent to less than 100 yards rushing. And finally, we are able to kick for points, making an extra point and both field goals we attempted!

The Jackets fell on Saturday to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. I also look at some of the biggest COVID impacts on college football thus far this season and discuss results from across the country in Week 9.

The Jackets suffered a frustrating loss to the Boston College Eagles. I also offer some brief thoughts on Week 8 in college football.
