DJ Anti Hero
DJ Anti Hero hails from Canada but is based in Taipei, Taiwan and is approaching 20 years behind the decks. He is one of the co-founders of the long running HSTL Taiwan (HuSTLe Taiwan) crew whose sole goals with their events are to rep all things house music and get those on the floor moving. Although Anti Hero is known for getting deep, dark and dirty - he loves throwing down soulful, funky uplifting sounds as well or bringing things into the depths of some spacey driving goodness. Regardless of what he's playing - it's all about choice selections and getting people to let go and move. To borrow the words of the prophet George Clinton - all he really wants you to do is to "Free your mind and your ass will follow." And, oh yes... follow you shall.

Had a little fun the other day... a fun live mix to make you grab your skates and boogie - those of you that know - know I like to get down - although 90% of what's up here is dark and dirty - I do have another side that those that join us at HSTL have gotten a taste of or crews like Just House thankfully let me set the records straight at. This goes dark and glitchy - what else is new hahaha. Anyways - this was the set I played on Halloween... well a good chunk of it. Hope you enjoy it! Plenty of 303s and some classic old school feel with a touch of the new... some broken beats and a good dose of that acid flavor.
Finally decided to get around to putting something up. Acid is stronger than 19... and this has some pretty strong acid tinges that gets gritty and dirty There's a recording glitch at the 57min mark... but you might not notice... apologies... my recorder sucks. Enjoy!
