OUR CIRCUMSTANCES DONT BEAR THE TRUTH, THE TRUTH IS WE MUST KEEP FOCUS ON WHO WE REALLY ARE CONQUERORS
Have you ever wondered why it's so difficult to stay aligned with God's purpose for our lives? Why do we struggle to trust in His guidance and follow His commandments? The answer lies in the devil's plan to keep us bound to the limitations of our own understanding and the physical realm.
In the story of Adam and Eve in Genesis, we see how the serpent convinced Eve to see things in a different way, to trust her own reasoning rather than obeying God's commandment. This was the beginning of the devil's plan to keep us in the mental, soul level, where we rely solely on our own intellect and understanding.
The devil seeks to make us believe that we have all the answers, that we can navigate life on our own. To doubt God's word and believe what we see as facts. But in reality, this is a trap that keeps us from tapping into the limitless potential of the spirit. It's important for us to recognize this strategy and actively choose to operate from a spiritual level, seeking wisdom and guidance from God.

God's Antidote to the World System: Death to Self

We are dealing with a formidable opponent using a strong, well-schemed system, and remembering that God is on our side to help us overcome the odds against us, God has given us an antidote to the system, and thus, the enemy.
Renew your mind - you think differently and become a non-conformist. You don't become a non-conformist by will power.
Rev 12:11 - the saints ceased loving their lives, even unto death.
The result of renewing your mind is that you die to self - you are at peace because the war ceases and you disentangle from the need for self preservation (when you're dead, many things don't matter).
Examples where people got driven by self, and how they died to self:
• Gen 25:21-28 inquired of the Lord and God promised that he would deliver two nations through her in Esau and Jacob - each with a different destiny. Rebecca knew God's promise to make the younger (Jacob) superior, and was determined (due to self reasons) to have Jacob be the one to receive their father's blessing. But using human mechanisms (per Gen 27). _Helping God fulfil His plans?
As a consequence, Jacob had a long feud with his brother, toiled for Laban for many years to get his wives and property, which he was stripped of in their eventual meeting with Saul. It was in this instance of desperate vulnerability that he met (and wrestled) God, and became REALLY blessed - renamed to Israel.
• Exo 2:1- 12 Moses, when Hebrew babies were being murdered, was saved, and raised (and trained on the truth of his roots and destiny) by his own mother. That's how he started defending the Hebrews (killed an Egyptian) before he was brought to his senses by the Israelite who asked him, "who made you our judge?" In truth, it's his own/self indoctrination that he was using, rather than God actually sending him.
-Moses then went from his position of power in Egypt as a prince into the desert and worked for Jethro as a shepherd for 40 years, until God ACTUALLY called him.
• Acts 7:58, 8:1- 4, 9:1 The story of the stoning of Stephen, masterminded by Saul, who was persecuting followers of Christ 'in the name of God' - He was a well educated, senior Pharisee. He continued massively leading the persecution. He thought he was doing this for God - in his self.
-Saul met Jesus, was struck with blindness and in his vulnerability, is when his real destiny was revealed to him. As Paul
The Lord orchestrates events (some of which are very tough) to separate His people from the control of the soul, to shift them to the Spirit.

Luke 3:15-16 John explained that Jesus's baptism would by the Holy Spirit and Fire.
This fire is uncomfortable. It is suffering. It exposes man to his vulnerability, to cease self preservation, to realize how feeble he is, to shift from logic to revelation, from the soul to the spirit. To the point where you surrender/yield and let God take over totally.
Remember Jonah and the circumstances of his mission - turbulent waters, getting thrown overboard, getting swallowed by a fish and staying in its belly hungry. He was being processed and set up for the mission to Nineveh.
God sets you up for His purpose. And it may be an uncomfortable season where the body, the soul and the spirit get purged from each other.
God processes you by bringing you to the end of yourself, to a point where your soul/self yields, and dies. That's when your next stage in your walk with God begins. When you die to self.
May God refine you. You will come out much better, like fine gold.

Recap/Intro:
The enemy is furious about you and his agenda is to steal, kill and destroy but there is a hedge
roundabout you. His strategy has never changed since the days of Jesus, and he is still defeatable.
What is hope? Something you are looking forward to. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the
evidence (something tangible) of things not seen. You cannot hope for evidence it must be there it
must be produced, it cannot be generated in the future it must have happened. You cannot show up
in court without evidence there must be proof produced for a ruling to be processed, therefore evidence
is what has already transpired.
God has not left you without evidence and if at any time you will ever feel you do not have evidence
always look to the cross. The cross is evidence of the triumph of Jesus over the principalities and powers.
Col. 2:15 - Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over
them in it.
Eph. 6:12 - For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the
rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
If Jesus spoiled the principalities and powers then why are we wrestling?
2 Cor. 5:17-19 17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all
things have become new. 18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ,
and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself,
not [d]
imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
Everything that could be associated with your old existence ceases to be, not that it has disappeared
but you have become something else and your instant transformation i.e your appetites, desires, and
pursuits makes it impossible for the system to beat you and then the law ends.
Christ’s death is pointless for anyone who lives for himself, the choice to live for self is presenting you
for warfare. The purpose of Christ’s death is so that we may not wrestle. You are born of the world
and not of the world because of reconciliation. The war ends when I die and when I die daily then the
war ends daily.
John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him
should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the
world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
GOD'S ANTIDOTE TO THE WORLD SYSTEM.
- Renew your mind.
Rom 12:2 - And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you
may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Intro
_God does not leave us with evidence. If you look at your life, how is it that you are here? How is it that, despite your life history, you do what you do now? How is it that you are who you are now?_
_Looking back at all that, and where you are, gives you proof of the evidence of God in your life. That thought alone should be able to give you peace, no matter the situation you may find yourself in. If He has brought you here, He can bring you up out of any situation._
_God is looking for fine gold. He separates and separates, sieves and sieves, until He gets to the purest. Be ready to be taken through the sieves, until you become fine gold that God is looking for in you. Allow God to work on you._

To conform or not?
The test to conform to the world system and the ways of the Enemy may not come in as obviously as the statue of Nebuchadnezzar for you to bow to, or a physical number 666 stamped on your skin. It comes in small bits!
The Enemy starts inducing us small by small to conform and be separated from God to plant the seed of deceit and before we know it (if we conform)

I John 2:15 - You can't love the world and love God.

James 4:1-4 - Strifes and wars come from lust (independence from God). And where lust and love for the world exists, even our prayers cannot get answered.
Do not ask things from God to satisfy your personal desires.
Luke 12:16-20 - Get the perspective that you cannot achieve anything by yourself. It's God who gives you.

WHY IS THE WORLD SYSTEM SO EFFECTIVE?

It's a well-laid out scheme of deceit.

It appeals to soul's natural inclination. The spirit is God-inclined, the body is earth-inclined and the soul is self-inclined. Let us allow our spirit being to lead us (to God).
Then, what's God's Antidote to the world system?
With all the odds stacked so heavily against us, how does God protect us from this powerful system?

God helps you renew and transform your mind (Romans 12:2)

When you allow God to renew your mind, the result is that the soul submits to the will of God. That way, you will rely so much on God, there will be no space to conform.
THE WORLD SYSTEM
Definition: This a series of systems that together form this super system that induces self reliance or "independence from God".
Lust is a desire that controls and consumes you it completely takes over a person and the person becomes obsessed to the desire.
If any man loves the world the love of the Father is NOT in him.
The world system is a creation of Satan it is not what God created it is what Satan created.
1 John 2:16 AMPC
For all that is in the world-the lust of the flesh [craving for sensual gratification] and the lust of the eyes [greedy longings of the mind] and the pride of life [assurance in one's own resources or in the stability of earthly things]-these do not come from the Father but are from the world [itself].
1 John 2:17 AMPC
And the world passes away and disappears, and with it the forbidden cravings (the passionate desires, the lust) of it; but he who does the will of God and carries out His purposes in his life abides (remains) forever.

They went out from our number, but they did not [really] belong to us; for if they had been of us, they would have remained with us. But [they withdrew] that it might be plain that they all are not of us.
Characteristics of the world system

The lust of the flesh

The pride of life
The world system is for self provision and self protection so the system induces the need to provide for yourself and to protect yourself. Example: When labour pain is induced, the contractions take over, lust does the same thing it takes over and gives you the drive to protect yourself and provide for yourself.
The creator of something controls it.
2 Corinthians 4:4 AMPC
For the god of this world has blinded the unbelievers' minds [that they should not discern the truth], preventing them from seeing the illuminating light of the Gospel of the glory of Christ (the Messiah), Who is the Image and Likeness of God.
There are many who are saved and use the word of God for self protection and self reliance.
2 Corinthians 4:2 AMPC
We have renounced disgraceful ways (secret thoughts, feelings, desires and underhandedness, the methods and arts that men hide through shame); we refuse to deal craftily (to practice trickery and cunning) or to adulterate or handle dishonestly the Word of God, but we state the truth openly (clearly and candidly). And so we commend ourselves in the sight and presence of God to every man's conscience.
The god of this world blinds the eyes of the people.
Matthew 4:3 - 4 AMPC
And the tempter came and said to Him, If You are God's Son, command these stones to be made [loaves of] bread. But He replied, It has been written, Man shall not live and be upheld and sustained by bread alone, but by every word that comes forth from the mouth of God.
You cannot love God and love mammon, one must give way to the other.
Matthew 6:24 AMPC
No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will stand by and be devoted to the one and despise and be against the other. You cannot serve God and mammon ( deceitful riches, money, possessions, or whatever is trusted in).
If the system induces it, it is because there is something in the heart. Until God is the only provider, the world system will still have a hold on you.
God is the one that sets the hedge by His authority it is His expectation that you trust Him to protect you and to provide for you.
Why is there an enemy in the first place and why does he hate you so passionately? As we said last week, in the order of creation, man was lower than the angels. And then was made an heir (above the angels)! Some angels could not fathom that new order. Hence the rebellion, with man in the middle of it.
Heb 2:7 Jesus accepted to go lower than the angels, to the level of man.
It's like a rich person living all his possessions to a cat. Relatives and servants will not find sense in it, hate and even seek to harm the cat. :)
Angels are powerful beings. The devil and his agents are angels with all that power and capabilities, that are way above the strength and power of humans.
We're literally defenseless against them.
So, how are we still here, having such a powerful enemy that hates us so much?
It's because they are restrained by the power and authority of God. On our own, we are so defenseless not even praying can help us.
_Remember Job. In the few hours the devil was allowed access to Job, he caused a lot of havoc in Job's life. That's exactly what the devil would do if he had access to us._

How would you live in a world without social media, news channels, internet? As challenging as it may seem, God prepared us in advance to have an inner news channel. God desires that we don't rely on so much what we see or hear from outside but from within.
