How do you respond to God's Word? Do you respond with faith or doubt?
This week as we look into Luke 1:18-25, we hear Zacharias' response to the angel Gabriel's news of John the Baptist' birth. Surprisingly, as a man who obeyed and followed God's Word, he doubts. This is a valuable lesson to you and I to believe the Word of God.
Why do I get the feeling like God hasn't heard my cries for help? I am doing everything right and it seems like God isn't listening to me. Have you ever wondered why God sometimes remains silent? You are not alone. As Luke the physician takes us into the story of Jesus Christ, he first introduces us to a couple who all their life wanted a child. And now it's too late. They are too old. But watch what happens as God answers them with the most incredible answer. God has been orchestrating the events in the life of Zacharias and Elizabeth so that He may do what He always does; amazes us with a miracle.

The Apostle Paul is writing to Timothy and giving him what a legitimate difference a Christian should be in a secularized world. The lesson is a tough one; grow up! And yet, Scripture doesn't leave us with the bad taste of shame in our mouth because the lesson to grow up comes with a super-duper power enfused battery pack called "the grace of God."

On the island of Crete, the Judaizers were causing such a stir with the faith of honest Christians. And Paul told Titus thatthey should get a mouth-ful of the right doctrine. This is the perfect remedy today against false teachers who want to disrupt, discourage and deceive you from God's truth

What did Titus' pastoral resume look like?This morning, we continue our study in the book of Titus and look at the actions of the pastor. Actions show a persons character, and more specifically what they hold as the highest priority. God tells us to "seek ye first the kingdom of God," and all these things will be added unto you. A pastor is to seek first God's kingdom and that communicates volumes about his character.

Have you ever had someone forget a meeting with you? You gave them all the details, the time, the date, the location and the time came and they just didn't show up.
As we look at Palm Sunday in preparation to the cross and the resurrection, we forget that the day Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey was a specific and very well planned out meeting, and the people of Israel missed it. And so can we if we don't take heed.

Everything Breaks!If it is not your hybrid car, it's your Ipod, or your fridge. Everything in life is temporary. In this message entitled, "You have all you need in Jesus," Pastor Jonathan shares that when we have Jesus we do not have to look for the "NEW" and "IMPROVED." He is everything we need and we are complete and full in knowing Him.
