Land Of The Rising Son

There is no other place in the universe like Japan. With a culture thousands of years old and one of the most esoteric languages on the plant, Japan remains an enigma to the rest of the world. In order to truly understand the Japanese one must live amongst them. Even so, as I continue to discover layer upon layer of the complex society, a lifetime of learning and growth.

One important thing to truly understand after living here for all of my adult life; you can live among them, but, unless you have Japanese DNA, you will never be of them.

Regardless, based upon my experience in Japan I have come to a deep understanding their mindset, and the inner working of this incredibly unique society.

日本のような国は、宇宙の他のどこにもない特別な存在です。 日本は数千年の文化を持ち、そして日本語は数ある国の中で最も難解な言語の 1 つであるため、日本は世界の他の国の人にとって、現代でも謎が残っています。日本を理解したければ、実際に暮らしてみるべきでしょう。しかしもし暮らして見たとして、そして理解したつもりになったとしても、また次から次へ新しい発見があります。それは日本の社会が大変複雑であるからです。ですから学習、そして成長するためには一生涯かかるでしょう。 大人になってからとても長い間、ここ日本で人生を過ごしてきた後に理解した事があります、それは私は日本人に近づいたと思っていたけれども、本当の日本人でなければ分からない、深い部分があるという事です。 とはいえ、日本での私の豊富な体験に基づいて、日本人の考え方をもっと理解するつもりでいるつもりでいます。そしてこの非常にユニークな社会の中から世界の動きを見ています。
