Then comes "Doc", a medical drama based on an inspiring TRUE life story that is a total roller coaster ride as we follow Dr. Amy Larson, played by Molly Parker, as she attempts to rebuild her entire life after an accident erases eight years of her memory, totally altering the course of everyone's lives around her!

Judi did not get much sleep over the weekend, her daughter Shira, who lives 1800 miles away was a complete emotional wreck. Judi was on the phone with her for hours trying to help her cope. The issue: Her daughter had to put to sleep her beloved sweet dog, Bello. He just was over a year old, but had a rare neurological disorder that had slowly taken him from a puppy to barely a dog. So, thank you to all this great advice and you may be able to use it too or even add to it!

They celebrated both Hanukah and Christmas, so for Hanukah they'd play the Driedel game for "Elephant" gifts, which was so much fun! For Christmas, the cousins would all exchange gifts but not so much the grown ups and no names were drawn. You just bought for your nieces and nephews. It's not as much now that we've all grown in different directions it's hard to get together. Billy & Judi "And Furthermore" taking the show beyond what's on the air. In this episode, we continue the hot topic on Billy wanting to see what is in his wife, Melissa's Hope Chest. She told him it's staying locked and it's private. HE believes since they are married, there should be absolutely no privacy between them. If you happen to have kids, you know that if you say something like "Junior, now do not spill that milk!", children inherently drop the negative and instea hear "Junior, spill the milk!". Well, I should've known Billy really still is quite the little boy and when I said "Billy, I don't celebrate my birthday", what he heard was "Billy, Celebrate my birthday"! SO, much to my surprise, I was greeted with a "Happy Birthday" live video upon entering the studio (which can see at the Bill & Judi Facebook page), which was embarrassing to say the least! BUT, he also redeemed himself by bringing a bunch of the best chocolate chip birthday cookies EVER from his amazing and beautiful wife, Melissa! AND, that's not ALL folks! So Judi got a call yesterday morning in the middle of the show from her financial institution relaying to her that there was "suspicious" activity on her Credit Card. Sure enough, she learned of a $1.00 charge from some gas station in Ohio, that thankfully, her bank denied. New card has to be issued yada yada. So this is definitely something you should listen too!

Being the youngest of four, I usually walked alone when I was old enough, and I think it's what helped me in building not just my imagination, but my creativity!

It's the little things that truly make for the best Mother's Day, and my guest is Barb Berson who uses donations of "little things" like shampoo and soaps you get from hotels, for example, and other donated items to make Mothers Day Gift bags for abused Mothers in over 17 shelters in the St. Louis, Missouri and surrounding communities. It's a beautiful thing that she started over 29 years ago! I'm all about empowering others because that's truly how we empower ourselves and become more mindful of a society. Give and help others and especially our Mothers who deserve to feel special on their day!
Meet Judi's Mom, Rita. She's quite the character and a bit on the "funny loony" side. Perhaps the apple truly does not fall far from the tree! Or, at least that's what Judi's daughter, Shira would say!
Judi's friend asks for advice about her 11 year old daughter who wants to dye her hair Easter Pink and blue (because her best friend did it)! So Billy & Judi in The Morning put the question out to their followers asking "What is too young for kids to get their hair dyed?". Billy says 11 is too young, Judi feels it depends on the situation. With her own daughter, Judi told that she too at 11 wanted her hair "highlighted" and because Judi's sister is in fact a hairstylist, she allowed her to let her "express herself" as long as it was done under the adept styling hands of her Auntie Shana!
My mom and dad had to be grounded! I know I am an adult, and so are they. But turnaround is fair play! At what point did I become the parent to my parents? Here's how it went down. My mom and dad, Rita and David, travel quite a bit. I think that's wonderful! But as they get older I worry more and more about them. I always ask them to please call me when they arrive back from being on vacation or out of town, even if for an overnight. I do worry! So, as you listen to my phone call to them, I was quite upset when they did not call me after being in Mexico. So, I called them and Lo & Behold! They had been back for a few days and didn't think to call me and let me know they were okay. So, I did what any well disciplined child of a parent who at times now needs parenting (or at least I suppose I think they do!): I grounded them! They were quite tickled with my worry, but I suppose turn about is fair play. When I think of all the times I worried them and only got grounded twice ;).
