My third year of college. FAU in Boca Raton. 1969. Muddy Waters is about my coming out as gay, and the process.
My boss encouraged me to meet with Paul at the bank and see about client referrals. I ventured out to the prospective clients and was successful with the first two. I knew it before but was reminded to hide my true life from these people, if I wanted to do business. Felt like pulling off a daunting tight rope act.
Two weeks from graduation. Meet up with Mike for a birthday party. My life take a turn.
Tim tells Bonnie about my mental disorder. Bonnie confronts me and I play innocent. Tim gets busted.
With the school break I'd have two weeks at home. I would go to the club by myself. I would also begin work on the old house.
My trip to DC continues. Travel to the White House with the Chief Justice and have coffee with President Nixon.
The summer and fall of 1969 were eventful: I stayed with the Chief Justice of the US, met the President of the US, expanded my gay world journey.

I traveled down to Miami again for the weekend and met up with Doc. We went to the gay bar he promised me.
