This is W̱ILṈEW̱ Radio on CFUV 101.9FM. W̱ILṈEW̱ Radio translates to Indigenous Radio. It is a Indigenous show that features Indigenous: Musicians, Story telling, Artists, Language revitalization, Careers, Plant knowledge and more.

ÍY SȻÁĆEL HÁLE! Good day everyone! This episode is about traditional practices and keeping them alive. I interview a man from W̱SÁNEĆ who races and paddles on traditional war canoes, I ask him about the history and some of the changes through the years. I also interview a Inuit woman who has helped bring back traditional Inuit tattooing within her family, she also does other traditional indigenous tattooing and I ask her about that.
ÍY SȻÁĆEL HÁLE! Good day everyone! This episode is all about indigenous languages, the United Nations declared 2019 as the year of indigenous languages and I wanted to highlight that in this episode. I chat with indigenous language warriors who speak Lekwungen, SENĆOŦEN, Nuu-chah-nulth, Tahltan, Cree and Dene (Northwest Territories). I ask them about their language journey and how they are revitalizing their language.
ÍY SȻÁĆEL HÁLE! Good day everyone! This episode is all about local indigenous food sovereignty. Peter Underwood and I have collaborated on this episode. We interviewed elders and community activists from the local communities of W̱SÁNEĆ and Lekwungen. We learn about plants, medicines, clam harvesting, camas harvesting, plant restoration and more!
In this seventh and final episode of W̱ILṈEW̱ Radio I sit and chat with Troy Sebastian, interview Beangka, Tiffany and Sarah about work they do with SeaChange and I interview Beangka and Tiffany asking them about Project Reclaim. I also do shout outs and thank yous! :)

I interview four indigenous people in different fields of work, Chef Shirley Lang, Clothing/Apparel designer Shar Wilson, Registered Nurse Stephanie McMahon, and Teacher Jacqueline Jim.
I also read from "The Saanich Year" our WSANEC 13 moon book, I read about the ĆENHENEN moon.

Lindsay is Iroquois Mohawk from the Kahnawake Nation. She is an artist and a performance artist. Lindsay is the Indigenous Artist in Residence for the city of Victoria and the interim aboriginal curator at open space.
