Preaching the "common salvation" (Jude 3), also known as the "the faith" (Ephesians 4:5), also known as the "Apostle's Doctrine" (Acts 2:42) which is the "foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ being the chief corner stone." (Ephesians 2:20) This salvational message was given "to the Jew first, then to the Gentile" (Romans 1:16; 2:10-11), then it spread amongst the known world of that time. (Romans 10:18; Colossians 1:5-6) This salvational plan we see being distributed from God in the book of Acts when we see in Acts chapter 2 Jews repenting of their sins, being baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, and being filled with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues. This same salvational plan came to the Samaritans in Acts chapter 8 and to the Gentiles in Acts chapter 10, and we are still preaching it to this day. "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God." (John 3:5)
Just a quick exhortation. My Spirit was stirred up to see the Church keep the identity of what it truly is.
God had predestined His people to reflect His glory and image unto the world. Although it was lost through the fall of Adam and Eve, it was restored in Christ, and is being bore through the Holy Ghost filled, Jesus name Church.
There is a Godly responsibility upon both parents of families and children as well, especially when youth hit their years of coming to be their own identity. We must put the Word of God in our children as they grow up and pray they keep it and sin not against it as they come to years.
The predestined plan that was lost through the fall of Adam and Eve has been regained in Christ and He is making His Church to be Trees of Righteousness for the healing of the nations to come through.
The beautiful types and shadows found in the Song of Solomon that can speak loudly to the Church.
Through the death, burial, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ all things have been put in subjection to Him and all things are under His feet. Though it may not appear so, Whose report are you going to believe? That of the Word of God or that of headlines and news reports? The Church is the Body of Christ, and the devil can't kill Him again.
Nehemiah was used for the process of the restoration of Israel coming out of Babylon, because Nehemiah was anguished seeing the ruins Israel was in and fell before God. The Church is in a definite time of ruins as it seems as the world has encroached the Church like never before and what this generation needs is a Nehemiah spirit. This generation needs someone who is willing to fall upon their face and allow God to use them to stand in the gap.
