Jeanette Cefre is a naturally someone who nurtures people and it's probably the reason she has always been in the "support organization" starting off in Customer Service then moving on to Learning & Development. Taking her experience in Learning & Development, she then transitioned to Knowledge and Community Management where she wanted to empower her teams with knowledge and to work together as a team.
Her last role in corporate was at Amadeus in the VP Office responsible for learning, internal marketing and communications.
An unexpected event was the catalyst for Jeanette to opt-out of corporate life after 27 years and finally pursue her side-hustle of helping women start their own business.
Today, she is a business activation coach helping women who are ready to pivot from wherever they are get started on their entrepreneurial journey, because let's face it, getting started is the hardest part.
Her vision is to increase the number of female entrepreneurs in the world.

She is the Founder of the Climate Innovation Education Lab (CIEL). The purpose of CIEL is to help the business community and academia engage in climate mitigation and adaptation, building on their leadership and power to innovate. Using her experience in the coordination of sustainable projects, she uses the Sustainable Development Goals to identify co-benefits in climate projects.
Marianne is also a Lecturer on climate change and sustainability and innovation at Université Côte d’Azur and at The Sustainable Design School. She is the President of CANIE Europe, the Climate Action Network for International Educators, and a founding member of Alive! Art Creativity & Climate Change. She graduated from Harvard Kennedy School of Government and from Sciences-Po Paris. She also has a Certificate of INSEAD Executive Program on Innovation in the Age of Disruption.

“What am I really choosing!?”
Mary Guerdoux-Harries’s professional background is in engineering. Her career has evolved. She specialized in leading transformation and continuous improvement projects. She loves innovation and change. Where she gets the most satisfaction is in coaching, training and mentoring, in order to implement positive change.
She currently works for Thales in the Underwater Systems Business line in Sophia Antipolis. She works in Operations, where she leads a team of 25 people and also leads a transformation project to change ways of working within engineering.
She is Franco-British and has been working in France since 2006. She has also worked in Switzerland and in Australia.
She is a Mum to a daughter who is three and has three step-children: two boys who are 9 and a girl who is 14.
Outside of work she enjoys sports, particularly running, cycling and walking. She also loves reading and can often be found in a café by the beach.

“We want to Delight, Retain, Attract”
The story begins in 2007, when Antonia arrived in France looking for activities where her young family could make friends. These were on every street corner in England, but not yet in France and Facebook hadn’t yet been invented!
Other than a small little mum and baby group and a little baby dance class neither of which exist anymore there was no way to easily meet new parents and babies.
So Antonia started her research, having already co founded a successful Au Pair agency while in the UK, the entrepreneurship route was open to her.
In 2007 she threw open the doors of KidooLand now nicknamed the little English school by her clients. They have now welcomed over 6,000 families.
She is also creator of the Facebook group Cote D’Azur Living and host of the Riviera Firefly Podcast.
In 2021 she will Chair the Riviera Business Club jury as they select the 2021 Business Person of the Year Awards.

Jacqueline Syndercombe is South African and has been living in France for the past 20 years. She has
worked in the corporate world in various administrative and financial positions in South Africa,
England and France.
In 2005, she became very interested in gardening and very sensitive to the
ecology and the impact we as humans have on the environment.
In 2019, she left the corporate environment to retrain as a Systemic Team Coach with the aim of accompanying employees at all levels of the organisation to finding their purpose and place and to help organisations transform to a sustainable and regenerative future.
She launched her business in the first quarter of 2021 and believes business and organisations have a fundamental role in driving the change for the world.

Today my guest is Liisa Hamalainen ,she is 31 years old, half Russian half Finnish and it is almost 10 years that she lives on the French Riviera
She originally came here to dance with Les Ballets de Monte Carlo. She is a former principal dancer of the company and it’s been now 3 years now that she “retired” from dancing
She got certified as a Stott Pilates instructor and has her own company Mindbodyfitmc where she teaches her own LH Method.
She is full of energy and motivation and she needs to accomplish something every day to use her energy tank fully. She is also a nature soul and loves to be active in the nature; hiking, paddling, swimming, skiing...
She is passionate about holistic and healthy lifestyles and constantly learning about it.

Sandra Richez is the Global MBA Program Director at EDHEC Business School in Nice, which a partner of PWN.
She has been working in higher education for over 20 years. It is a real vocation to help others to open their minds to global perspectives, to constantly learn and build their skills, giving confidence to reach their potential.
She also holds prior experience in services and hospitality in firms like Véolia, Disney and Marriott in HR and operations.
Sandra has lived in France for over 25 years. Her husband, her 3 grown children, dog and cat are all French, but they still enjoy her American culture, cooking and recipes (barbeques, hamburgers, and Sunday brunch).
When she is not working, you'll find Sandra most often on the water in summer and in the mountains in the winter. She is an avid boater and sails as crew most summers anywhere from 500 to 1000km in the Southern Mediterrannean. Come wintertime, she enjoys wintersports as well, skiiing and hiking, so the Riviera and our beautiful region is the perfect home for her!

As an international executive, Beatrice de la Masseliere is what we can call today a fulfilled businesswoman! She has spent most of her professional life motivating teams to embrace company objectives. Change has been her main driver and has led her along her professional career and personal life. She has been adapting, growing, learning, transforming herself through change.
Along with change, Beatrice has also been driven by “her international exposure” and enjoying life. She has lived in France, the UK and Italy and she travelled to Namibia, Borneo, Bali and Burma.
She also visited Brazil and Argentina a number of times where she fell in love with lambada and tango.
A more recent change in her life has been her new transition as a retired woman. However, she has not stopped travelling and motivating others. She might have had a corporate career, but she loves spending time with friends and grow her own vegetables!
Now that she has more free time, Beatrice has decided to support young professional women to grow their career and help them to overcome challenges they might face, making sure they use confidence as a lever and change as an opportunity.

Born and raised on the beautiful island of Malta, Gillian has lived all over Europe for half of her life. Her husband is Austrian, their daughters are "French", and she considers herself an international European! :) She graduated in Computer Science and worked as a front-end developer. She then discovered her passion for people and orchestrating projects, so she followed an MBA in General Management. The mix of studies opened great opportunities for her. She has held functions such as Product Management & Ownership, Business Analysis and Team & Business Relationship Management. She loved all her jobs but being a BRM is her favorite as her objective is to help customers reach their goals. Gillian loves diversity in her personal life as well. Her islander life has made her love diving and sailing, and her travels have thought her to enjoy discovering new places. Finally, Gillian is a partisan of Marie Kondo-ing, her secret to a healthy work-life balance!

Cynthia Milani is American and Italian. She spent a lot of time in the middle east and now she lives in France. She has been a part of the intercultural training world for 30 years, she worked in over 60 countries, with offices in France and Italy. Cynthia is currently working as a neuroanthropologist for leading corporations such as SAP and BP Amaco, Credit Suisse, Chanel and public entities interested in understanding the basics of neuroleadership, bias, inclusion & diversity. as well as all aspects of intercultural training. She is the director of IgD's NeuroLeadership & Diversity in Sophia Antipolis, France but still have a home office in Milan.
In this episode, Cynthia demystified what neuroscience and neuroleadership are and explained us how she got into this field.
We talked about how the brain works and Cynthia shared some tips on how to use our brain to make better decisions and control our emotions.
