With our new normal of virtual interactions on the rise and at times the job market being competitive – we discuss some tips about volunteering and using your LinkenIn profile to really help you stand out in the job market and create your own personal brand.

In this episode, host Professor Teri chats with 5 current (2021) 4th year Bachelor of Business Administration (Hospitality) students about their unique experiences outside the classroom. 4 out of the 5 students had the unique opportunity to take part in the University of Florida and Walt Disney World Resort® Academic Exchange. This exchange takes place over 6 months and the students learn about tourism, hospitality and event management at one of the most successful attractions in the world! The other student participated in a semester exchange in Ireland. This episode highlights their experiences and learning curves they overcame throughout the process. Both of these exchanges are unique to Niagara College and truly enhances the student to become more Monday Morning Ready.

In this episode, we speak with Alumni Carolin Seiferth from the Hospitality and Tourism Management Post Graduate Program. Originally from Germany came to Niagara College Canada to study and immersed herself in all things sustainability, including a Be World Ready trip to Dominican Republic and Costa Rica. She is currently continuing her studies in Sweden. This episode shines a light on the many opportunities for Niagara College students that involve travel and embracing their true passions.
