Why make art? Why make experimental art? How can you justify dedicating your life to art when there are so many pressing problems to be solved in the world? Can you really answer these questions objectively from a privileged position in a developed country? We discuss how our experiences as working musicians have shaped our answers to these questions and what we think the best mindset is for living as an artist in 2020.
