Honoring one of our own who spent his life working in the local broadcasting market, Scott Johnson passed away on Christmas Eve this past year at the age of 52. The following program features Scott discussing the death of his daughter Megan from Glioblastoma at the age of seventeen. A very dedicated advocate of finding a cure for this type of brain cancer of which there currently is no cure, Scott established the Meghan M. Johnson Memorial Fund. This Insight aired originally in January 2020.

A local father fights desperately for suicide prevention, in memory of his young son. Bruce Bartz is raising funds to support the prevention of suicide in York County. Last year, 93 people in York County committed suicide. His 20 year old son, Trent committed suicide a few years ago. Since then, he has been raising funds for suicide prevention organizations in York County.
