Both the term used to refer to the ministry of the Word and ministry  of works (Acts 6) are from the same Greek root word 'daikonia' which is  to serve.

They both fulfill the Great Commandment and Great  Commission — which the church of God is called to be and do. This Agape  Community Month, let us put our hands together to do the work of  ministry and serve our community in whatever capacity we can!
