We’ve got you’re average hodgepodge of goodness for you this week and episode no.136! We start with some things we’ve been waiting on - mainly Legion Season 3 and The Terror Season 2 to drop on Hulu. Alongside that we take a gander at Altered Carbon on Netflix before returning to Hulu for the new series Devs with Nick Offerman from the guy who brought us Ex Machina and Annihilation! From there I talk about Onward and how much I really loved that movie before spinning up and talking about Fantasy Island and finishing up with Ben Affleck’s latest The Way Back.

We are coming in hot after our little 2 week hiatus to prepare for our 4 year of making this little podcast! We talk about the Candyman trailer and X-Files season 1 for the first 20 mins and then we are in the thick of it. We’re dodging Hunters on Prime, adamantly embracing High Fidelity on Hulu, Discussing Locke and Key season 1 AND Vol 1-3 it covers, and then hitting I Am Not Okay With This on Netflix. After the shows are done I touch on Fantasy Island briefly before we talk about Sonic and the awesome new movie The Invisible Man! We are back and ready to rock a whole new year for y’all!

Oh we diving into all of this now! We talk a little about Oscars and Korean cinema before starting talking about X-Files. (X-Files? Like from the early 90’s?! Yeah. We are.) and then we discuss Locke and Key first couple episodes and vol.1 of the comics by Joe Hill. At the end we talk about the latest DC release of Birds of Prey...errr I mean Harley Quinn: Birds of Prey 😜

We had a doozy of an episode for this week. We start off with a clip of audio from episode 7 when we saw F&F8 before we knew Hobbs and Shaw was gonna be a thing. Then we discuss the trailer for 9, talk Cheer and go into The Outsider...and maybe decide to take on 9 seasons of the X-Files?! After we get that stuff out of the way we talk about an animated feature ‘I Lost My Body’ on Netflix and a VOD feature ‘House with a View of The Monster’. Then we talk theatricals of The Turning and The Gentlemen!

This is a fun one for y’all (all except Doolittle that is)! For RandM 132 we discuss David Lynch and his short he dropped on Netflix called ‘What Did Jack Do’. From there we talk this fun little monster movie on Netflix as well called Sweetheart. Then theatrically we saw Doolittle (to our disappointments) and Bad Boys 3 (to our praises)!!!

Just a quick clip - edited down from the first half hour fight we engaged in...winding up and killing a monster...

We saw a whole new slew of movies to start off your new year! We finally get around to discussing Don’t F**k With Cats documentary on Netflix and that leads into a couple older films with Blair Witch from 2016 and Alien from 1979. From there we get much more recent as we talk about the first two episodes for the new series The Outsider on HBO and then we discuss the theatrical releases. Those include The Grudge (2020), 1917 from Sam Mendes, and Underwater. New year, same us!

Here we go! Last year has finished and we’ve compiled our favorites we watched last year! We only overlap a couple but there’s a whole lot of weird and insanity to check out if you never took the time! Luke gets us kicked off as we rotate and eventually land on our top picks! Some real gems and wildcards along the way too! Now we start an entire new year of RandM so come and enjoy as we talk the latest entertainment!

This is a real wild one! Coming in hot for one last one in 2019 and for 129 we are discussing the Finale to The Mandalorian before diving into Castle Rock’s 2nd Season. From there we talk about the season of The Witcher on Netflix. And then we end with talking Uncut Gems and Little Women which we saw in theatres. Next week we will be bringing you our top tens of the year and tell you some ones you might have missed!

View Details

We sat down and discussed the latest Star Wars film right out of the theatre. Full Spoilers so if you haven’t seen the movie yet, probably don’t start here. We will be back on Tuesday with the regular episode but enjoy this for the weekend!

We have a rollercoaster for you today! Lighting the fire on RandM no.127 we dive right in on Jumanji and if you liked the first one (Luke did not and refused to see the second) I think you’ll like the 2nd. We then talk all things Watchmen as the finale happened and everything that’s unfolded. Then we hit on Mandalorian and 6 Underground. Then we have some pretty great discussions on The Farewell and (a really wild film!!!) In Fabric!

What an ‘immense and heavy with an emotions’ filled episode of RandM we bring to your feet this week! Honestly we are going everywhere on the spectrum and the only thing we aren’t on board with is His Dark Materials. From there we talk Watchmen and Mandalorian which continue to satisfy. Then we get into the real meat of it all. Starting out with one of Netflix’s latest of Marriage Story. From there we touch on the feel good story of Peanut Butter Falcon...and then we really start diving deep. One that’s been on our radars and finally got around to it - definitely gonna be on my top ten for the end of the year - Fast Color...and then the wild chaotic mess that Elizabeth Moss creates in Her Smell. All such amazing films and worthy of your time!!

View Details

We got one full of rough and tumbling for you in RandM 125! We start discussing the disappointment Titans s2 ended with and the mess that His Dark Materials is. From there we get to talking some great points with Watchmen and Mandalorian. We then tackle The Irishman new to Netflix. Then we talk theatrics with Frozen, Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood, and finally wrapping it up with the fantastic Knives Out!!

View Details

We have a doozy for you this evening! RandM 124 coming in hot and we start with weeklies going from Titans to His Dark Materials - Making a stop for the new episode of Watchmen - and landing on the latest Mandalorian episode, we are bringing the thunder and American Flags! From there we talk some movies that came out last year I missed with The Hate U Give, Mid90’s, and Minding the Gap. Then we talk Hulu’s Wounds thriller. And finally we settle on Doctor Sleep which we weren’t able to talk about last week due to technical difficulties. Enjoy and be sure to stop in next week because Luke is gonna open your mind to the world of Frozen 😂

View Details

We had a little difficulty with this one but we are bringing the thunder regardless with RandM no.123! We discuss two episodes each of Titans, His Dark Materials, Watchmen, AND Mandalorian! We then dive back into the past with a couple I missed last year that were Blindspotting and Bad Times at the El Royale. From there we talk the new Charlie’s Angels and Ford Vs Ferrari before being abruptly silenced by Anchor. We will have our Doctor Sleep discussion next week so be looking forward to that!

View Details

We have a wild one today (and if you’re worried about Watchmen - it’s at the end so you can avoid spoilers). We start out discussing a couple random things but get into Titans pretty heavily discussing the last two episodes. From there we have the final spookems with Thirst and The VVitch (and Luke talks about The Lighthouse which is the directors latest)! We then talk about Eddie Murphy and the fantastic new Dolemite movie on Netflix you should check out before I talk about the latest Terminator (which is one of the best of the franchise!). We dive heavily into Watchmen then and discuss some possible scenarios over the last two episodes! Thanks for checking this week’s episode out 😁

View Details

We got another jam packed episode for ya! We start out RandM 121 talking about Titans and move onto the Watchmen Pilot for HBO before finishing up the Best/Worst Lists with The Shawshank Redemption. From there we tackle spooks and try deciphering Suspiria and The Thing. To wrap everything up we talk Soderberg’s latest of The Laundromat and then tackle Zombieland 2 and Maleficent 2 (which Luke had a ton of fun at and definitely didn’t describe how a roving group of teenagers gave him a headache dealing with them at the theatre) 😂

View Details

Starting out this RandM no.120 - I discuss briefly how much I enjoyed Abominable! (If you enjoyed the first How to Train Your Dragon, I highly recommend seeing it!). Then we talk Titans before moving to Best/Worst lists. We are nearing the end for the Best and Worst lists and topping those both are Godfather Pt.2 and Manos: The Hands of Fate. From there we talk the spooks of the week with Wes Craven’s New Nightmare and Scream. We touch on Gemini Man before diving into the new Breaking Bad movie - El Camino! Thanks for checking the episode out and let us know what you thought!

View Details

This is a full on mixed bag of everything! We go from the latest episode of Titans straight into a classic with The Godfather and dissect it’s greatness. We took a look at In the Tall Grass on Netflix and we’re disappointed. We then hit on The Shining and The Exorcist for the classic spooks for the month before talking about The Joker and the bad taste it left in our mouth 🤮

View Details

We begin the month of spooks for 2019! Before we get to those though we kick RandM no.118 talking about how much more we are enjoying Titans S2 before dipping into the few remaining on the Worst/Best lists with Hottie and the Nottie clashing against The Dark Knight. From there we have some more thoughts on Netflix’s series Unbelievable (continued from last week) and then we get to it...with my first time viewings of both The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and The Blair Witch Project...and then we finally hit on Netflix’s latest film In the Shadow of the Moon that missed the mark by quite a bit. Still some pretty decent stuff in there though and thanks for checking this week’s episode out!

View Details

Here’s this week’s new wild ride! RandM no.117 takes us and keeps us rocking with Titans S2, Ep3! From there we go to the Worst/Best lists and discuss the cult film Birdemic and 12 Angry Men from the best side. We finish talking Undone and how much we both enjoyed it! We also started Unbelievable on Netflix and it is gripping and intense. I talk about how Between Two Ferns is just like the sketch on funny or die site before we talk about Rambo 5 and Ad Astra...next week starts the spookies and I’m not ready!!

View Details

We got a wild one for you this week! With finalizing the first season of Doom Patrol and finally diving into the second with Titans, DCUniverse is doing some stuff very well! The for the best list we have Schindler’s List. We then finish Carnival Row and start Undone on Amazon Prime. We also caught Hustlers and The Goldfinch in theaters as well! Thanks for spending some time with us!

View Details

We go down the bumpy path yet again here for Episode 115! We start in the DC Universe and talk Titans S2 premiere and Doom Patrol (with Flex Mentallo’s 4 Issue run from ‘96 for added flavor!). From there we discuss the final one of the LotR trilogy before talking shows. First up is Carnival Row. Then we move onto the second half of Jessica Jones and The Boys (with discussion involving the first trade as well). The we get into It Chapter 2 and I really enjoyed it and Luke has some problems with it. Thanks for checking the episode out!!

View Details

This is a mismatch of all the different bits we had laying around right now. We start off talking 12 Monkeys and Dark Crystal because I hadn’t seen them and needed to. With the crazy amount of people talking about the Netflix release it was time to check it out and I dove in because Luke isn’t a fan of puppets. From there we spoke about Doom Patrol and Flex Mentallo joining the ranks, worst/best list with House of the Dead and Pulp Fiction. Then we start out with Jessica Jones S3 with the first 5 episodes and end with the first 4 episodes of The Boys on Prime right now which is a lot of fun!

View Details

We got a packed episode for you today! RandM 113 kicks off right where it should and loving on Doom Patrol and Righteous Gemstones before talking about the mess that Wu Assassins turned out to be. For the Worst/Best lists we tackle Saving Christmas and The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. And we wrap up talk about the theatrical releases of Good Boys, Ready or Not, and Blinded by the Light.

View Details

This latest episode is a real disaster of a theatrical experience so let us guide you and help you avoid a couple of these for sure. We start out briefly talking about the new Batman Hush before diving into another episode of Doom Patrol and really touching how they give more weight to Larry/Negative Man and everything he is dealing with...and Cliff fights a crocodile for a watch 😂 from there we talk about the badass first 5 episodes of the new Wu Assassins show on Netflix that you should be checking out because it really has that ‘Raid’ vibe to it! For the worst and best lists we rip apart the mess that was Son of the Mask which should be avoided at all costs and then take another look at Fincher’s classic Fight Club. Then the trouble starts brewing because Scary Stories doesn’t quite work, 47 Meters Down Uncaged is a real mess that isn’t quite coherent, Dora is enjoyable enough for a kids movie, and The Kitchen was just shambles because the character development was pretty inconsistent.

View Details

Kicking it back with a classic episode and when we discuss Daredevil Season 2 (part 1 as we led up to Defenders s1), Valerian, we got pretty heated discussion about Dunkirk (Luke enjoyed it and I didn’t much care for it), and finishing up with Game of Thrones, Season 7 Episode 2.

View Details

We take a journey through the trees for this episode! RandM 111 kicks off talking about the ending of Titans S1 before hitting on Doom Patrol and ending on Swamp Thing. We follow that rabbit down the hole and read all of Alan Moore’s Book 1 to compare with what they did for the only season that will come from this show. After that we talk about the worst and best lists starting with the American Idol atrocity From Justin to Kelly and the best lists with Forrest Gump and rocking and fighting Ents in The Two Towers. We then leave all that behind for the city and Fast and Furious lineage that presents us with Hobbs and Shaw!

View Details

We dive in this week with Luke discussing the latest episode of Euphoria because he enjoys torturing himself. Then the DC Weeklies of Swamp Thing (We learn what he is exactly), Titans (How Hawk cane to find Dawn), and Doom Patrol (Learning about Jane and ‘The Underground’. From there we revisit one of Luke’s favorites from last year with Thoroughbreds and highly recommended if you missed this one! Then we talk about Veronica Mars movie and Season 4 and the trouble that could come from keeping the same consistent tone through 2 decades. Finally we wrap it all talking about Quentin Tarantino’s latest: Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Enjoy the ride!!

View Details

Today’s is a week late, but certainly not a dollar short! We discuss MCU/Phase 4/Disney owning the lionshare of things nowadays, Luke highlights the indie movie The Art of Self Defense, and then we thrash on Euphoria and Too Old to Die Young before hitting up the weeklies. By far Doom Patrol is still such a wonderful weekly treat!! For the Best/Worst lists we hit up the original trilogy again and talk Empire and Jedi. From there we talk about the lifeless Lion King remake, Stuber (this generation’s Die Hard 3), and end on the great tense movie of Crawl!

View Details

Today we are bringing the heavy with subtle horror. We start out talking about Los Espookys (AND WHY ARENT YOU WATCHING THIS SERIES YET?!?!!) and Euphoria. From there we go down the line of Titans, Doom Patrol, and Swamp Thing. Then we talk Inception before turning our attention to Head Count and Midsommar before tackling this 3rd season of Stranger Things that just dropped last week!

View Details

For this episode we are talking sagas and epics...RandM episode 107 kicks off with talking about Good Omens and bringing that to a close. From there we talk DCUniverse/El Spookys/Euphoria before handling the epic tale from our youth - Fellowship of the Ring. Then we get into the theatrical releases and talk Annabelle Comes Home, Anna, and Yesterday before diving into the latest MCU release of SpiderMan: Far From Home!

View Details

We have a reasonably portion taste-testing for you today with this episode! Number 106 brings us through all the good and the bad starting with a PSA about Into the Spiderverse being on Netflix so go watch it and how dare you not checking out Los Espookys yet on HBO! From there we go into the weeklies and the ride on Titans introducing the Doom Patrol as well as Beast Boy - Doom Patrol actually ‘going for it’ with some of the most outlandish stuff from the comics - and Swamp Thing putting out a filler episode and showing how it could have survived a multiple series run. We check in with the checked-out series Euphoria again before discussing the eye pleasing episode of Too Old to Die Young before dipping into Good Omens which we will wrap up next week! Then we talk worst and best lists and take on Battlefield Earth which neither of us saw prior and wish we hadn’t before watching the delightful One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest with such rich acting chops from the whole cast!! Then we talk about Netflix’s latest I Am Mother before going into the reboot of Child’s Play without a soul and end with Tot Story 4...and being disappointed Forky wasn’t more prominent...LAZER EYES FOR EVERYBODY THOUGH!! Enjoy this week’s offering!

View Details

We have a very eclectic episode for you today! We start out discussing the weeklies and jumping from Doom Patrol to Titans to Swamp Thing and ending with Good Omens (all episode 3’s) before talking about the new HBO show Euphoria and Prime Original Too Old to Die Young. Once we get those out of the way we discuss the worst and best lists with the worse one so far being Going Overboard w/Adam Sandler and one of the best and Goodfellas. Then we touch on Men In Black International and Shaft (2019).

View Details

A challenging of vantage points...can Luke persuade me that Dark Phoenix is the second best X-men movie?! Before we get there though, we start no.104 talking about the weeklies: Swamp Thing, Titans, Doom Patrol, and Good Omens. Enjoying them all for the most part even if we’re not sure why! From there we jump back into the world of Black Mirror with the latest 3 episode season. Then we tackle the worst/best lists by discussing Glitter and Matrix. A solid talk before heading into the main event...Dark Phoenix. I personally didn’t like it but Luke has some compelling arguments why you should check it out 😁

View Details

For this week’s episode we are going back to the Wild West, shifting through the DCuniverse, coming through the 70’s with Elton’s story and ending with Godzilla. We start out discussing Deadwood (series which I caught up on last week before talking about the new movie). From there we checked out the first episodes of Titans and Swamp Thing on DC’s streaming service and then swung around for the first episode of Good Omens. Then for the worst/best lists this week it was Gigli and Seven Samurai before talking about the quirky theatrical release Ma. (Don’t make me drink alone!!) Then it’s down a really magical rabbit hole for Rocketman and finishing everything up with (My man) Godzilla!!!

Buckle up because this one is filled with wonder for that diamond in the rough...and we aren’t just talking about the latest live-action remake of Aladdin! RandM 102 takes us everywhere and we start with Lonely Islands Bash Brothers half hour comedy special they dropped last week! It’s well worth your time and then we discuss the worst and best lists in which we spoke about the atrocity Dragonball Evolution was and discussing how awesome Seven is after all these years! We talk briefly about Wandering Earth sci-fi movie on Netflix too before diving into the 8 episode series Black Summer that was a great jaunt in this zombie thriller genre! Then we talk Aladdin, the disappointment Brightburn was, and then we both equally excited about the joy we found with Booksmart! Please get out and support it because it is a delight!!

We had some small technical difficulties in the beginning so bare with us for a couple weird cuts that may occur. Welcome to RandM #101 and we start out discussing the new Westworld trailer that looks phenomenal and coming next year. From there we return to our roots and enjoy talking Star Wars Episode 4: A New Hope. Then we dive into the finale for Barry before going all the way down into BSG for the last few episodes and the SERIES FINALE of that as well as Game of Thrones. We then land on the third chapter of John Wick theatrically and we were both pleasantly surprised with...I mean, they brought along Mad Dog!! What more would we ask for?!?!!

What a wild trip it’s been so far and we are still correcting this ship as we cross into triple digits now with a fun one this week! We talk a little about the show What We Do In The Shadows (on FX - get into it!) before talking about Barry Season 2 (up to the 7th episode). From there we talk about the worst/best lists and the atrocity known as Baby Geniuses before diving into our profound appreciation for Silence of the Lambs! From there we get back to Battlestar Galactica (Season 4, Episodes 11-15) before the series finale next week. Then we quickly talk about The Hustle and Detective Pikachu before diving into the penultimate episode of Game of Thrones. This one is a spicy meatball!

What a doozy we have for you today. Plenty of romance and intrigue and Luke is having very little of any of it :p We start out discussing The Fault in Our Stars which Luke vehemently shreds to pieces. Then we dive into the worst and best lists with Date Movie and It’s a Wonderful Life. From there it’s more Battlestar Galactica as we near the end of the run and watch episode 6-10 of the 4th season. We discuss Barry season 1 and Long Shot (which you should definitely get out and see!) before Luke tells us about The Intruder with Quaid and we get back to our weekly fight about Game of Thrones. Thanks for checking in this week!!

We are coming in hot on this one!! RandM no.98 is kicking off with a vengeance about all the latest and greatest! We start out talking about a couple movies that Luke tented that were Under the Silver Lake and horror movie The Wind. I can definitively say I liked them but Luke was on the fence. From there we are back into Battlestar Galactica and season 4! We discuss where they went with American Gods Season 2 now that it’s wrapped up (no thanks to the random labeling on Amazon Prime!)...and then we hit on the big ones of Game of Thrones (Season 8, Episode 3) and Avengers: Endgame.

View Details

We have a KILLER of an episode for you this time! We discuss briefly Searching from last year before diving into the Worst/Best lists. For the worst we are talking Jaws 4: The Revenge and discussing the finer points of this pulpy fun movie. (The Jaws Movies are on Netflix now so check them out and realize the terror this family has been put through!)...from there we jump to the Best list and visit Life is Beautiful from the late 90’s that almost gives us whiplash with the dynamic of the film half way through. Then it’s time to talk some more Battlestar Galactica as we wrap up season 3 with the final three episodes! Then we talk about The Curse of La Llorona (and of you’re a fan of the conjuring franchise - you should enjoy this as well) before really settling in for Game of Thrones and the second episode of the 8th season. We will catch back up with you next week!

View Details

For this episode we start out talking about the best and worst list which Troll 2 affectionately falls into both lists in our hearts. The best was supposed to be Spirited Away but Miyazaki films aren’t able to be streamed anywhere. From there we jump into the climax of Season 3 and Battlestar Galactica before turning our attention to theatrical releases. We first hit on the new Laika film Missing Link before jumping into Hellboy which had us massively split. We then end discussing the latest episode of Game of Thrones that just kicked off the 8th and final season this past Sunday.

We’re bringing you a full episode with this one! We discuss the first episode of the new Twilight Zone series (up on YouTube right now) and it’s new direction. From there we talk about the worst/best lists with Bloodrayne and Saving Private Ryan respectively. We talk Battlestar Galactica and getting to the halfway point of Season 3 as the Cylons and Humans clash into each other yet again. From there we hit on the new Netflix film The Unicorn Store, the new Pet Sematary (compared to the old one and book), and finally ending on Shazam which we both agreed you should definitely get out there to see!!

In this episode we are going everywhere yet again. We open and start talking about those worst/best lists and the movies Race 3 and The Usual Suspects (respectively). After that we dive into Battlestar Galactica and the New Caprica arc that kicks Season 3 off. From there we talk about Cold War which came out last year and is now available on Amazon Prime before ending up on the really weird movie that happened called Dumbo.

Quite an action packed program for you with this, the 93rd outing of this little podcast of fire! Checking out the best stuff you should be watching!!! We went back a little ways to check out Attack the Block from nearly a decade ago and it gets the highest of recommends from us! After that we dive into the worst/best lists with Kazaam and Leon the Professional. While Kazaam is a hard pass from the worst list, we primarily focus on Leon and how this movie wouldn’t be able to be made today. There’s an uneasy and uncomfortableness with that movie that was hard to overcome. Then of course we talk Battlestar Galactica as we bring Season 2 to a close. From there we really sink our teeth into the new movie Us from Jordan Peele and how brilliant of a movie it is! Honestly you NEED to catch this in theatres!

Here’s a really interesting episode for you. We start off by discussing the news of James Gunn being back for Guardians 3 and move into talking about how much I enjoyed (and Luke dislikes, but he’s not an animation fan) Love, Death, and Robots! Triple Frontier was a disappointment and should be avoided for sheer boredom. Then we hit on worst/best with Santa and an old classic western! From there we get back into Battlestar Galactica with Episodes 11-15. From there we found out I have an affinity for dying teenagers in love movies and the miss that was Captive State. Check ya next week with the new movie I’m not ready for...Us.

Episode 91! We have a good ol’ time with this one, plenty of yelling at each other too 😜 we kick things off discussing the premiere of American Gods S2. From there I talk about the swing Widow made to being a less exciting show and the way I Am The Night wrapped up. We then both watched the finale of The Passage last night and discuss that before diving into the worst and best for this week. The worst by far was Human Centipede 3 and for the better side we watched The Green Mile. From there we get back on the BSG train and discuss episode 6-10 of season 2 and then bring the whole way around for Captain Marvel (Luke wasn’t a fan and I quite enjoyed it). Cheers to you and we will catch ya next week!
