This is it. This is goodbye to ICB, and hello to Infinite Cities. We're officially dropping the Blaseball, and moving on to our future of "good games, and better friends." It's bittersweet, wrapping up everything we've been doing these past three (almost) years, but that doesn't mean we're going anywhere. In fact, you might not even notice the difference.

Blaseball will not be returning.
In a lot of ways, this isn't different than a month ago - we didn't have Blaseball then, and we still don't have Blaseball now. Our last regular season episode was thirty-nine. But in more meaningful ways, the world is a little less cool. Even though we gave up talking about blaseball a while ago, this still sucks.
Join us as we figure out if there's anything left to say, and keep watch with us as we look forward to a new beginning.

Wow, Disco Elysium is a lot. It feels a bit late to be getting to this game, but we're finally in the dark (metaphorically and physically), dank (same) city of Revachol! Gary found books to read, Feather's trying to solve being sad through chemistry, Will is having a hard time finding his place and Karp is just better than you. This game is so big, this one is just the first half of the game!

Titanfall 2 might not have a lot to say, but we certainly do! From our favorite titans (Scorch is da best, ignore the rest of those losers on this show) to a confused rundown of the plot, we had such a good time talking about a good time that maybe we forgot to explain, say, what an R-201 is. Who cares! Certainly not Titanfall 2.

Night in the Woods is a dense game, with a lot to say. It should be no surprise that we have a ton to say about it also! In this monster episode we try to come to terms with possibly the most literary work we've played thus far - so literary, in fact, that Feather thinks maybe this one should have just been a book? It's complicated, there's no good answers, and everyone is sad!

Last Video Game Book Club pick was way, way too long to play in a week (Gary is still playing CrossCode!) so this week we've picked something shorter: titularly shorter, in fact. For our second entry in our Video Game Book Club, we played CrossCode, a wonderful love letter to they heyday of MMORPGs! And what better way to pay our own homage to this era than by trying to play a 40 hour game in two weeks? Maybe this was a bad idea! Or maybe we just aren't in high school anymore? Either way, we (mostly) had a great time, and now we're ready to sit down and talk about it!

The first game in our "Video Game Book Club" is here! We get the crew together to play Rain World: an atmospheric survival exploration platformer, first released in 2017. Is it painfully beautiful, or beautifully painful? Or just pain? We weren't sure, and even after spending an hour and a half talking about it - I don't think anyone's mind is truely settled. One thing is clear: this was a fantastic first pick!

This is our second annual charity marathon livestream, and it's going to be an absolute party! All of ICB will be there, but we're sharing the stage with a whole taco truck worth of awesome people and fun stuff. When Blaseball ended the first time, I was listening to the garages kill the gods. When Blaseball ended the second time, I was listening to storm's here. The Garages have been a fixture of Blaseball for a very long time, and to celebrate their 1 year anniversary they released a new live show - RIV.

Damn, expansion era got hands. After failing to grade just one aspect of the Expansion Era, we line up for round two - and do a much better job of it. Perhaps fittingly, there's a lot to cover! Was the coin a mistake? What actually happened in season 17? Perhaps most importantly, did anything we did ever mean anything? Really, Blaseball is a horror game!

Blaseball is sleeping, and we're scrambling to fill anything to fill that splort-shaped hole in our lives. Including... just maybe... "going outside?" ICB (sans Karp - we miss you Karp <3) met up in person to watch actual, real life Baseball! Turns out, it can be just as fun, exciting, and stupid as the original Blaseball. Let's talk about it!
Feather note: This was our first time recording in-person, and so we had to put together an entirely new recording setup. Unfortunately, during the setup, some settings got messed up and the audio we captured is really bad quality. We've done our best to make it listenable, but it's not great, and we won't be offended if you have to skip it - we'll catch you at the next one.

Welcome to Infinite Cities Blaseball!
We're a fun, out-of-character podcast about Blaseball and the Blaseball fandom, hosted by four friends who also happen to be huge fans of the LA Unlimited Tacos. You, however, don't need to be a Tacos fan, you just need to be a fan of Blaseball - or be at least a little bit curious about this strange and wonderful splort.
When Blaseball is on, we tend to do reactions, recaps, analysis, and speculation for the past week of Blaseball. When it's siesta, we try to feature voices from across the fandom, mixed in with some fun nonsense episodes as we go a little bit weird from the lack of Blaseball.
