Drab&Clear stands for partly lucid as well as murky sounds from their own house.
The project consists of two young aspiring techno musicians from Bern, Switzerland named Cedric Mokus and Cyrill Burri. These two crazy guys have known each other for a few years and have often met up at parties. What particularly connects them is their love for house music, which was also the reason why they decided to incorporate a new music project together and to work with heart and blood on it. Cedric, better known under his own artist name „Krafteck“, already came into contact with producing electronic music in 2009. In the beginning, Cedric frequently produced some hip hop beats for friends who were singing but he never could stand out of the crowd and never had the possibility to present his own music with them. In 2014 Cedric fell in love with electronic dancemusic and purchased his first DJ equipment. Furthermore he produced some Minimal and Techno tracks which he could sign on labels such as “Hungry Koala Records", "DC10 Records“, "Reload Records“ or also “Funk‘n Deep Records“. After some releases Cedric could prove himself not only national behind the decks but also abroad with his first Gig at the „Hans Bunte Areal“ in Freiburg, Germany. Although he currently is still active under his single artist name Krafteck, in order to maintain a certain diversity in terms of style of music, he actually will spend more time for Drab&Clear.
Cyrill is a young DJ and producer from Bern, Switzerland. Already at 6 years old he enjoyed music a lot and began playing piano. A preference for electronic music then developed at the age of 12 when he bought his first mixer. After about 2 more years he discovered Techno music which then turned out to be his passion and this has never changed up to the present day . Almost everyday he practiced various sets and mixes under his artist name „Techtasy“. Over time, he has upgraded his setup and kept saving his money to continuously change respectively buy new DJ gear until he has found his ideal equipment. Aged 16, he bought his first producer program and began producing his own music. Shortly thereafter, he finally had the chance to appear at some parties , including a popular Techno event in Bern. After a few more appearances, he decided to again concentrate more on the production and to work now together with Cedric for their project Drab&Clear.
