Pastor Adam discussed the difference between our natural wisdom and the supernatural wisdom that only comes from God. When we are given a word of knowledge from God, we have a responsibility to offer it in hopes of bringing conviction, solving issues and bring unity, or even produce open doors and spiritual progress to the body of Christ!
God used Nehemiah to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem in 52 days. But, this supernatural building began with God giving him His heart through a season of waiting. Nehemiah gives us three things we can do to prepare us for the destiny God has in front of us while we wait.
Since the pandemic in 2021, many sectors of the U.S. economy have been experiencing a shortage of workers. Jesus warned about the Kingdom of God experiencing the same thing, a shortage of workers in a world in need of His saving grace. In Matthew 9, Jesus says, "the harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few." Christ's return is coming quickly, and it's time for the people of God to get to work and share the good news that Jesus saves. This message is a call for His people to get to work.
Our Values- Genuine: Real People
We are real, not religious people. We don’t hide behind a mask or image. We all fall short at times, and we aren’t afraid to admit our shortcomings to one another and build one another up.
Our Values- Evangelism: Take God Encounters and Give them Away
We value the urgent responsibility and privilege given to us by God — to proclaim the Gospel to all people, tribes, and nations. We evangelize by sharing the knowledge and understanding of God that we receive in our daily encounters with Him.
Our Values - Celebration Testify God's Goodness: If you’re not having fun, you’re doing it wrong! We make time to celebrate wins by testifying God’s goodness in our lives.
Our Values - Generosity Give It Away to Keep It: We will be generous with pure motives, knowing God blesses the pure in heart. We give our time, treasure, and talents from a heart of compassion.
Our Values - Excellence Make it Better: We represent the Lord by doing the best we can with what we have. Everything has room for improvement, and we will have an attitude of whatever it takes to make it better than yesterday.
Our Values - Edification Speak Life: We see people the way God sees people. We call out destiny in others by speaking life and not death.
What so many of us have is not peace, we actually have the opposite. We've got tension. A lot of us, we're afraid, and we're anxious. When you think about your relationships with your family and your friends - you want harmony, you want to understand, but so often we have the opposite. We have misunderstandings. We have disagreements. We have hurt feelings. We have bitterness. We have unforgiveness. What so many people really want and really need is peace in life, and the Christmas Story reminds us of a Perfect Peace offered.
In this message we explore how Paul describes the condition of the world in the last days to his mentee Timothy. It would be hard to hear these things and not consider the fact that we find ourselves in the last days. At times the words sting and might momentarily make us feel hopeless against the onslaught of sin and pain in our generation. But Paul doesn’t leave us in a place of misery. He points us towards what we should be doing and directs the reader to pour themselves out knowing God and telling the world about Him. What an example for us all to follow.
In this message we will be discussing how Satan uses his army of demons to attack and influence the world in which we live. We will be answering questions like: Is it possible to be demon possessed? Is it possible for a believer to be in bondage? Can Jesus set me free from demonic bondage?
Yes angels are real. Actually there is a host of heavenly beings that span beyond just what we call angels. These beings are organized by God and at war with Satan. In this message we discuss how angels are organized, we highlight some of the most significant angels, we talk about their functions, and we conclude by answering the question: what does all this mean to us?
And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here I am! Send me.” - Isaiah 6:8
Pastor Eric brought a great word this morning reminding us how we are sent! We don’t serve the church to mark it on a checklist, to just fill a need, or to pat ourselves on the back. We serve because we are a chosen people, a royal priesthood! We have been called to serve and engage the lost in a loving way with the hope of expanding God’s kingdom!
Part of being a Christian is a call to service. Our lives our about reflecting Jesus to the world around us and if Jesus came not to be served but to serve then it should be a huge part of who we are and what we do. As believers we are a part of a multigenerational family that passes God’s love from one generation to the next. One of the primary ways that love is reflected is through sacrificial service. This service is an act of worship unto God that demonstrates His love towards humanity. If your a believer in Jesus Christ we challenge you right now to begin serving and watch what God does through your life as you become a part of the greatest mission ever!
Words matter… you have heard the saying - "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me" It’s a lie. Many are living in a brokenness today literally because of words spoken over you. Proverbs 18:21 states "Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits." So how are we to speak?
It’s clear from scripture that God does not want a lukewarm church. He cautioned the Laodiceans on the subject in the book of Revelation. He also overturned the tables of the money chambers in the temple in Matthew 21. What a wake up call. With so much information, why then are so many Christians lukewarm even in our generation? Why do christians seek after the most popular pastors and most popular churches instead of seeking hard after Jesus? All while society continues to decline. Something has to change. God reminds us in Matthew 21 that His house will be a house of prayer. Keeping that in context every great move of God has been preceded and sustained through prayerful intercession.
Only 5% of Christians lives thier lives with a biblical world view. It is no wonder society looks the way it does. It is time Christians got back to making a habit of the Word.
This message was preached on Pentecost Sunday 2021. In it we share the story of how the Holy Spirit of God guided the Jewish people in the wilderness as a cloud by day and fire by night. Later as the temple of God was dedicated in Jerusalem Solomon prayed a prayer of dedication and the fire of God fell on that place and consecrated it. God’s presence would dwell there for years and years but that still was not God’s ultimate desire. His desire was to send His Son Jesus to die in our place for our sins so that we might become part of the family of God. As He ascended into heaven he promised that the Spirit of God would come soon and empower all believers. That would occur as promised on Pentecost Sunday which birthed the church and for which we are celebrating today!
Blood is a mysterious substance. At the sight of it one grown man might pass out while another loves to watch blood flow in a fight. In this message we will explore 7 ways in which Jesus bled and what the implications of each of those are for your life. In Revelation the bible says Revelation 12:11And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death. In this message you will learn how to apply the blood to your life to obtain victory over the darkness that is engulfing the entire world.
"Prayer is connecting to God. Fasting is disconnecting from the world. Physical obedience brings spiritual release." - Pastor Adam
Powerful word this morning from Pastor Adam on the importance and place for fasting in the life of a believer!
In this message we study water baptism in the context of spiritual warfare. We take a look back at symbolic events like God’s people being stuck at the edge of the Red Sea with the Egyptian army hot on their tail. The situation seemed hopeless until God performed a miracle through Moses and parted the sea. His people travelled safely through and the Egyptians were engulfed by the waters. That scene is symbolic of what God does in our lives today. Just as the blood of the Passover lamb saved the Jewish people, the cloud guided them by day, and the waters of the Red Sea where parted that they might be protected. Jesus blood saves us from our sin. The Holy Spirit descends on us from above and fills us and the waters of baptisms ensure our past is dead and buried in a watery grave! We need all 3.. Join us to learn more.
What a timely word for believers of today! Pastor Kevin brought a challenging word on the need for the gift of Discernment in the church. We are surrounded by false narratives, false teachings, false motives. This divination is an attempt to counterfeit and destroy what God has planned for our lives!
As we continue on in our War in the Heavens overriding series we are entering into a subset of the series called He Came to Set the Captives Free. In this message we continue to deal with the foundations of being a good soldier for Christ. How God can build us up in Spirit, Soul, and Body. We will also examine questions like can Christians be demon possessed?
In todays message Pastor Eric shares the Story of Jesus’ Resurrection by going back to the beginning of the book of Genesis to take a look at what God created us for. Where did things go wrong and how can things be made right yet again? God answers all of these questions in His word and todays message is meant to remind us of the goodness and majesty of our King that we might marvel in, serve, and life for Him.
On a day that we recognize as Palm Sunday - many gathered for the triumphal entry of Jesus. Shouting Hosanna, Hosanna… which literally means “Please Save Us!” It becomes clear that many in the crowd were shouting not because they saw him as savior to their sin, but savior against Roman rule. But when they discover Jesus’ intentions was not to overthrow Rome, we see how quickly they QUIT on him. When things didn’t play out how they expected it or how they thought it would be – they gave up believing He was who He says He was.
Sometimes we are much like the people in the crowd shouting Hosanna – save us lord, save us, save us NOW! We are too ready to quit, we are too ready give up. We quit on what Jesus is doing, much like many of his followers that we read of on this holy week, when it seems what he is doing doesn’t line up with what we want and when we want it. We don’t preserver.
In this message we study the incredible transformation of Jacob to Israel. Jacob’s name meant deceiver and in the early days of his life he often lived up to that. Yet God taught him much over the years and there came a defining moment where he had a wrestling match with God and refused to let go until God blessed him and revealed his destiny. At that moment God renamed him Israel and he would take on that great heritage promised to his grandfather Abraham of being a leader of God’s people. God has an anointing and a call on each of our lives. We need to hold tight and not let go until he reveals it.
Pastor Adam brought an inspiring word on what intercession is! Our potential and sometimes even the potential of the people we pray for, is up to us. There is such a profound role we play in our own breakthrough and other peoples breakthrough. We must be consistent in our intercession.
If you want to walk in the anointing and power of the Holy Spirit you first must cultivate a relationship with the Holy Spirit. Where does that start? Scripture tells us it is with a longing for God and His presence. Jesus tells us that God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. The question is, are you truly seeking Him? Is He first in every area of your life? Are you pursuing Him even as he is pursuing you?
In many circles of modern day christianity the person of the Holy Spirit is largely ignored. Yet, is that what God intended? Are Christians missing out when they don’t receive and cultivate a relationship with one third of the God Head? We certainly think so. In this message we discuss how you can connect with and invite the Holy Spirit into your life. We answer questions like is the power of the Holy Spirit available to us in our generation? Join us for this exciting dive into God’s word.
In this message Pastor Adam challenges the idea that simply going to church is enough. The reality is that we are much like a seed and need far more than one element to flourish as believers.
Our guest speaker, Kevin Baird, brings a timely message on the importance of believers PUTTING ON the Armor of God.
In this message we look at how Satan organized his demonic forces in an effort to hinder the purposes of God and extend his own power throughout the earth. His forces are highly organized territorially in an effort to enslave and destroy the entire world. We base our discussion on two important sets of scripture Ephesians 6 and Daniel 10. We conclude by taking a look back at ourselves with the understanding that we are in a world that is at war. Are we behaving as good soldiers? Or are we simply casualties of this epic battle of good and evil?
In today's message we take a look at two of the trees that God planted in the garden of Eden. The Tree of Life which bears good fruit and eternal life vs the tree of the knowledge of good and evil which yields nothing but shame and death. Which tree will you choose to set up camp under?
In Sun Tzu’s Book The Art of War he writes, "Know thy enemy and know yourself; in a hundred battles, you will never be defeated.” In line with that thought if we are ever to overcome the enemy of this world Satan we need to have an understanding of his fall, how he works in our lives to deceive us, and what his gameplan is. In this message we examine those things as well as our own hearts in line with God’s word with the hope that we will not be deceived but we will walk in the power, might, and anointing of the Holy Spirit to be overcomers.
This message is the kickoff for a new series of messages entitled War in the Heavens. In the weeks and months ahead we will be diving into deep topics surrounding walking in our authority as believers in Jesus Christ. Tearing down strongholds. Seeing people get freed and seeing people get saved. Before we can move on to those topics it is imperative that we understand the overriding story of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and come to grips with issues like the Creation, Fall, Rescue, and Restoration of mankind. This message aims to bridge those gaps.
As you look in the bible there is a lot of talk about birth. Bible talks about the baby Jesus being born in a manger, it talks about the Christian being born again, and the day of Pentecost represents the birth of the Church. The day in which the Holy Spirit was poured out on the body of believers and empowered them to be witnesses in the early church. His presence was accompanied by signs and wonders and in Peters 1st message he describes a day in the future where the Spirit would once again be poured out before the return of the Lord. We live in that day and age and need the power of the Holy Spirit more than ever before. Listen and apply the words of this message and watch what God does in and through your life.
King David is an incredible study of how God can pick the unlikeliest of people to become the leader of a nation. In light of current events of the 2020 election cycle this message is especially important to understand. We have a habit of seeing through human eyes when God has a way of discerning the real heart of a matter or a person in this instance. May this message remind us all that we are citizens of the Kingdom First. That God is in control. That He is seeking men and women after His own heart and when He finds them he can use them spectacularly in spite of their faults.
We have been looking at moments in scripture where God showed up and shifted everything! We continue by looking deeper into not so much one specific instance in scripture that we saw a shift, but rather a pattern of instances. Instances that have the potential to really build your faith. And also help us understand that we can literally see miracles from God today! Let's talk about a God who does miracles of healing.
Shifts come in different ways. Sometimes as small incremental changes over time while in other seasons everything can change in an instant. This shift series is about believing for and walking in revival. We have examined some really big shifts through the course of the series. Today we get to see how one unlikely hero took the time to change one life while others simply passed by. Church we are challenged to do are part. Revival starts in us and spreads one life at a time as we DO the work of the ministry!
In today's message we examine the life of Elijah and what a life it was. A man called by God who spoke God’s word to kings, literally controlled the weather through his prayers, called fire down from heaven, helped a widow in her time of need, raised the dead, and was taken to heaven in a blaze of glory. His story is one that demonstrates not only God’s power but renews our hope and trust in God. God was faithful and He demonstrated through Elijah that He is real and that we should worship Him with all that we have within us. As Elijah's days here on earth would draw to a close the anointing that was on his life passes to Elisha. We can only hope that that same kind of anointing would rest on our lives in our generation as well!
Todays story jumps right to the heart of issues that still plague society like racism, divorce, gender barriers, feelings of inferiority and even humiliation. The story we are about to dive into in today's message is The Woman at the Well. It’s a perfect message for the times we live in.
At Journey Church one of our core values is to seek and save that which is lost and we genuinely find Jesus’ example for all of us to follow in todays message. We get to witness a monumental SHIFT happened that day in Samaria and that is incredibly good news.
The lady whos story we encounter was not perfect by any means. She was an outcast, an outsider, who had a divine encounter with the God of the universe. She experienced His great love and was saved as a result. I\n turn by sharing her story saw many others saved. She was willing to tell the world about Jesus.
Do you need some hope today? If so then this message is for you…
God’s people were enslaved and oppressed in the land of Egypt. They were in need of a SHIFT. They cried out for God to move and he sent Moses to be their deliver to lead them to the edge of the promised land? But who would actually lead them in? None other than Joshua. Joshua’s and his friend Caleb’s faith was something to aspire to. They first entered into the land as spies and saw huge opposition but rather than shrinking back they trusted that God would get them to where he wanted them to go while all the other leaders of Israel shrunk back. God would use them to do mighty exploits. This message is for anyone who might be crying out right now. Let their faith build yours. Let them help you believe that anything is possible when God is on your side. You like them can enter the promised land.
As the reader opens the book of Hebrews Paul highlights many of the giants of the faith and shares about the great exploits they accomplished when God showed up in their lives. As you dive into chapter 12 Paul turns the tables on his listeners and challenges us with the concept that there is a great cloud of witnesses watching us and cheering us on in our own generation. That in fact every Christian has a God ordained race to run. God wants to shift us from our couches into the race that he has called us to run. In learning about this shift how will you respond? Will you throw off the weights of sin that hold you back as described in todays verses? Will you dive in and serve God wholeheartedly? Sitting on the sidelines simply is not an option.
Romans 12:3-8 3 For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you. 4 For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function
Romans 12:2 Do not be conformed to this world,[c] but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
Romans 11:36 - For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen.
Romans 10:18-20 - But I ask: Did they not hear? Of course they did: Their voice has gone out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world.” 19 Again I ask: Did Israel not understand? First, Moses says, “I will make you envious by those who are not a nation; I will make you angry by a nation that has no understanding.” 20 And Isaiah boldly says, “I was found by those who did not seek me; I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me.”
Romans: 9:25 As indeed he says in Hosea, “Those who were not my people I will call ‘my people,’ and her who was not beloved I will call ‘beloved.’” 26 “And in the very place where it was said to them, ‘You are not my people,’ there they will be called ‘sons of the living God.’”
Romans: What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be[a] against us? He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? Who shall bring any charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies. Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? As it is written, “For your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.” No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
In this portion of Romans, Paul references the faith of Abraham. Pastor Adam digs into this type of faith and reminds us why we can have faith in the promises of God.
In Romans 3:27-31, Paul is explaining to the Church of Rome that our boasting can only be in Christ. That we are saved through our faith and not our works. However he mentions that it is through our faith that we can then uphold the law. In this message we discuss the importance of finding balance in faith and works. One without the other signals a problem in our relationship with God.
In Romans 3 Paul deals with the weighty issues of total depravity, justification, and propitiation. The hearers were no doubt cut to the heart as he reveals the deep and insidious nature of sin that lies within us. Thankfully Paul does not leave us there but offers us hope. Hope in the form of the son of God Jesus who would die in our place for our sins.
In this weeks study we examine topics like: Is there any benefit to growing up in a Christian household? Is God right in judging us for our sinfulness? Is there any hope for us? Paul does a great job in answering questions like these before the hearer even asks them. His listeners will find comfort in knowing that while God must bring judgement where it is due. He offers freedom and forgiveness to all who will repent and run into his grace filled loving arms.
In this message the Apostle Paul challenges the listener to really examine their own lives before considering judging others. Life is full of challenges and we often inflate the sin in others lives while diminishing our own. Sometimes we even talk the talk without walking the walk. Paul is encouraging us to ensure that our walk is in alignment with our talk.
Using Pauls teaching to the Romans, we ask the question, when is it right to judge? In our culture today, it is imperative that we get this question right. It is so easy to look at others before we look at ourselves, but the Bible teaches to not judge or you too will be judged. We explore how far this should go and what the Bible says about judging others.
In this message we take a look at the stark reality of sin that plagued not only the Romans but our generation as well. In listening to Paul’s message, we begin to realize that we all fall short of the glory of God and we all sin. In acknowledging it we shouldn’t point out the sin in other but rather we should examine our own hearts in light of God’s word. If it’s time to repent then repent and experience the grace, forgiveness, and love of the God who was willing to send his only son Jesus to die in our place for our sin. May you find Him now..
In this message we dive into Romans 1:8-15 and begin to hear Paul’s motivation for his ministry in Rome. In these verses you really hear the prayer of a Pastor over a people. Praying that they would know the depths of Christ’s love and in turn live out their God given calling in life. Paul serves as a great example to any believer and any pastor. Join us know to discover your God given purpose in life!
In this message we cover the first 7 verses of the book of Romans as we begin to kick of a 34 week study on the entire book of Romans. As we get started we talk about the similarities between Roman culture and the culture of our day and we begin to learn more about the books author. Paul shares with us who he is in Christ as well as where his identity comes from. These vitality important thoughts can help shape us and give us understanding as to where our identity comes from. Are we finding it in the things of this world? Or are we genuinely finding it wrapped in who Jesus says we are? Come join us as we kick off this amazing journey through the book of Romans….
In this message Journey Church celebrates their accomplishments for 2019 and then lays out a collaborative vision for City Transformation that includes the Church, the Business Community, Nonprofits and the government working together to see our city transformed by the power of the gospel for the Glory of God in our generation.
"Don’t focus on the problem, we must focus on the promise...REMEMBER the promises of God." - Pastor Brinson
What a timely word going into the New Year! If you have been praying for something specific in 2019....don't stop in 2020! Keep. Standing. On. The. Promise
As Jesus birth was approaching God had placed on the hearts of a few to diligently seek his face. For years it would seem there would be no reward. In fact Anna and Simeon spent the majority of their lives in the temple awaiting for God’s son to show up. At 84 Anna probably should have given up. But she knew deep down that God had planted something in her spirit and she as well as Simeon were rewarded for their faithfulness. Maybe you are in the midst of a time of waiting. This message will answer the question - what should you do in the midst of the wait?
The wise men had everything society says we need: money, education, respect, power. Still, they weren’t satisfied. So they packed their bags and followed a star on the search for something more. Like the wise men, all of us are born with a longing that can only be fulfilled in Jesus.
Why is it that sometimes we pray and cry out and seemingly hear no answer from God. Does He hear our prayers? Does He see our circumstances? Do we see things from His perspective? Do we trust Him even when it seems he is not speaking? Or maybe, like Elizabeth, you've been asking God for a child. Watch on to find answers to these difficult questions.
Does God really care about the little guy? When we're lonely or struggling to get by, it's hard to imagine that God can relate. But the angel's announcement to the shepherds reminds us that God sees all of us. Even when we don't see things the way He does.
Guest speaker, Bishop Jones, speaks on the importance of reaching the Ends of the Earth with the Gospel of Jesus!
Do you want to supercharge your faith? Then 3 things are absolutely necessary. Authentic Faith, Significant Responsibility, and To the Ends of the Earth. In todays message we will share about how taking on significant responsibility deepens our relationships with Jesus. What is significant responsibility? Well a lot of it surrounds serving both inside and outside the walls of the church. It’s like on the job training. We learn more by what is caught than what is taught.
After Jesus’ resurrection when the Kingdom of God had been ushered in and he was now handing it over to the disciples, he would appear to them on many occasions. They weren’t the same disciples as he had before the resurrection. They were beginning to bring the words he promised them into reality. They were now citizens of the Kingdom of God and that was based on the authentic faith that included seeing all of their history through the light of the Gospel that was now complete and in their hands. But, as Jesus demonstrates through his encounter with the disciples on the road to Emmaus, he’s not just interested in their head knowledge, but their heart relationship also. In this message we talk about what authentic faith is all about.
The church of North America seems to be in a decline. We are losing the next generation at a rate that hasn’t been seen in this nation. It has been stated that over 80% of youth will leave the church by the age of 18. Despite political claims for or against, the post- christendom statue of culture is pointing to a decline in the church and a increase in secular foundations. Should the church panic? What do we do?
The answer isn’t found in slick strategy or a flashy approach, but rather going back to the core attraction that found the early church growth in the midst of a clearly pagan society. The answer is digging to to roots of Christ’s church using the drawl of the gospel of the Kingdom of God. What is fundamental in the hearts of the next generation that is deeper than our media, technology and culture? What are they really craving that Christ, and his church are offering?
The children of Israel have finally made it to the promised land. What would some of the first things God would say to them be? In this message we will explore how making it into the land is not an end, but a new beginning and what that means for our lives today!
Throughout the course of this message series we have been taking a journey with the Jewish people from Egypt towards the Promised Land. Egypt was a place of bondage and the promised land would be a place of freedom. Yet just as they can see the promised land on the horizon and are about to enter in one final challenge emerges. There are giants occupying the land. Border bullies who would prevent them from receiving what God has for them. Would they walk in by faith or would they retreat in fear? Listen on to hear the outcome.
In this message, Pastor Joey will continue following the journey of the Israelites and their Exodus from Egypt. God has poured blessings upon the people of Israel, guiding their step each way and providing for every need. Upon leaving Egypt they were even blessed with all the riches of Egypt. Yet, like the people of Israel, it is interesting how we sometimes use the blessings of God, maybe even to the point of worshiping the blessing itself over God. In this message we will learn from the mistakes of God’s chosen people and discuss how to be biblical stewards of His blessings.
In this message Pastor Eric related the words of Exodus chapter 6 to our lives today. Just as God provided for the Isralites and they quickly forgot we have a tendency to do the same. Knowing that, how important is it to take time to reflect, remember and honor what God has done for us so that we can walk in peace and freedom knowing that He Will Provide.
We live in a world that is not too unlike the one that the Jewish people were experiencing in the book of Exodus. The devil still tries to continually enslave us with heavy burdens so that we have little or no desire to worship God. Fortunately the people of Israel cried out to God for a reprieve and God sent Moses to initiate a rescue plan that would be cemented through the Passover. All the pain, all the challenges, all of the burdens would be lifted, but first it required an act of faith by the Jewish people. They would need to gather together in their homes and sacrifice a lamb for a house. A monumental act of faith for slaves. How would they react? Would they be obedient and do what God says and get rescued? Or would they retreat back and let the devil win? In this message you will find out answers to those questions…
This message presents a compelling case that we are rapidly approaching the fulfillment of end time prophecy especially as it relates to our finances. In it Pastor Eric shares biblical passages from Genesis to revelation to demonstrate how Mammon controls the worlds financial systems then draws signifcan’t parallels to what is going on in our own generation to make the case that we find ourselves at a moment where we need to cry out, “Let My People Go”. AS we free ourselves from the enslavement of the worlds financial system and begin to live out the kingdom first message of Matt 6:33 we will truly begin to find peace.
In this message Pastor Eric begins to share how the book of Exodus has parallels to bondages even in our own generation especially as it pertains to Satan’s plans to attack our finances. In Exodus, the Jewish people were under a heavy burden and being forced to make bricks for Pharaoh who would not even release them long enough to worship God. Yet as part of the overall gospel narrative when God’s people began to cry out for help God sends a deliver. None other than Moses who would be used as an instrument of God to set His people free. Moses has a burning bush moment that sets his destiny. Our prayer is that today is your burning bush moment as well. If your struggling would you cry out and then watch God respond!
A powerful message on our duties as believers from one of our church leaders, Jim Reynolds. Slothfulness is far more than just laziness in our body. It also affects us intellectually and spiritually!
We can seek the temporary all we want, but fulfilment is only found in the eternal. We don't need more stuff, we need more Jesus." - Pastor Adam
A powerful message on Greed by Pastor Adam. If we are not careful, our riches can distract us from the things of God. #youarerich #firstworldproblems
Summary of the minor prophets Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah and Micah with a focus on Jonah.
By the Waters of Babylon Story of Ezra and the preparation for the return of Israel from captivity
1 Samuel 20, 24, 2 Samuel 5: 1-5 - God was blessing David, and this made Saul jealous.
