In John 10:10, Jesus said that He came so that we may have life, and that we might have it more abundantly. Many people in society today are not living a life of abundance and do not realize that spiritual beliefs, worldviews, lifestyles, and culture can have a direct impact on living the life that Jesus wants us to live. This podcast will discuss different topics in order to get to the root of why so many Christians are not living a life of abundance. I will also be sharing my own personal life experiences on how the Lord showed me why I was not living out John 10:10, how to get to the root of why I was not experiencing a life of abundancy and how to make the necessary changes in my life to begin to receive all the promises that He has for me. Let's Get To The Root Together!
Unforgiveness is like a hidden root in our hearts—it may seem small or buried, but over time, it can grow, creating bitterness, anger, and even distance from God. Getting to the root of unforgiveness is crucial because it allows us to release that hidden weight, heal from past hurts, and experience the true freedom Jesus […]
Today, I want to share a story about why I chose to become a Christian life coach and the impact it has had on my life. Back in 2019, I began my journey as a Christian life coach, and I’ve been blessed to work with some incredible clients. However, one client, in particular, left a profound and lasting impression on me: Gemma Felix.
I was introduced to Gemma in 2021 by my business coach at the time, Janice. She mentioned a family friend who could really benefit from having a Christian life coach during a challenging period in her life. After receiving Gemma’s contact information, I reached out, and from our very first Zoom call, I had no idea how significant our journey together would become—not just for her, but for me as well.
I worked with Gemma from 2021 until her passing in 2023, following a battle with cancer. Throughout our time together, I felt led by God to offer my coaching without charge, even though I typically get paid for my services. It was only a few months before her death that Gemma felt compelled to sow into my business and ministry. Initially, I wanted to decline her offer, but God encouraged me to accept it. I didn’t realize then how close she was to the end of her life.
Gemma came to me during a very dark time. She had been re-diagnosed with cancer, which had spread to her lungs after initially surviving breast cancer. Our journey together was filled with ups and downs—times when she felt hopeful and times when she felt lost. But in the last five to six months of her life, I witnessed a remarkable transformation. The darkness that once enveloped her began to lift, and a beautiful light shone through her.
When we first started working together, Gemma was uncomfortable when I told her I loved her at the end of our sessions. She also hesitated to pray aloud. But as time went on, something changed. She began to express her love in return, and even volunteered to lead our closing prayers. There were moments when Gemma, in her newfound strength and faith, took on the role of coach, while I became the learner.
Reflecting on our time together, I see how the light of Jesus gradually covered and embraced her, driving away the darkness. It was clear that God had been guiding not only Gemma’s steps but mine as well. This experience taught me that being a Christian life coach is not just about helping others grow; it’s also about growing myself. It’s about bringing honor and glory to God, which is the ultimate reason why I do what I do.

Photo by RDNE Stock project on Pexels.comImagine you’re a gardener preparing a plot of land to plant a beautiful flower garden.
First, you notice that the soil is riddled with weeds (past traumas). You realize that if you don’t pull these weeds out by their roots, they’ll keep coming back and choking out your new plants. So, you start pulling them out one by one, just like seeking professional or spiritual help to address and heal from your past traumas.
Next, you need to prepare the soil, making sure it’s rich and fertile. This step is akin to the classes, conferences, and prayer sessions Dr. Reva mentioned. You’re enriching your soil with knowledge and spiritual growth to ensure that your garden has the nutrients it needs to thrive.
You then plant new seeds, carefully spacing them out and covering them with soil. Planting these seeds represents implementing what you’ve learned in all relationships, not just romantic ones, but with family, friends, and your community. You’re using these lessons to ensure your garden (relationships) are strong and healthy.
As any good gardener knows, planting seeds isn’t the final step. You need to water, monitor, and tend to your garden. This is about continuously applying the lessons you’ve learned and remaining mindful of how you interact with others. You’re nurturing your relationships, just like you would water and monitor your garden, ensuring that they grow beautifully over time.
And just as you seek help to understand the unique needs of each plant—some may need more sun, others more shade—you also ask for divine guidance to see people as God sees them, acknowledging that everyone has different experiences and needs.
In the end, your flower garden flourishes, reflecting the love, care, and effort you’ve put into it, just as your relationships will bloom when you plant, nurture, and tend to them with care.

Photo by Odonata Wellnesscenter on Pexels.comImagine your love life is like a garden. You have a beautiful patch where you envision vibrant flowers and lush greenery, representing the happy, fulfilling marriage you desire. However, despite your best efforts, the garden hasn’t flourished into what you hoped for.
As a Christian life coach, like a seasoned gardener I step in to help you transform your garden. First, I help you identify the pesky, hidden roots of weeds that are choking your plants—these symbolize past relationship histories or unresolved emotional issues.
Next, we determine what caused these roots to grow so deep. Perhaps it’s the remnants of old, unhealthy relationships that have left their mark in your soil. Understanding the cause helps prevent new weeds from taking hold in the future.
Together, we carefully extract these stubborn roots, pulling out every last bit to ensure they don’t return. This symbolizes addressing and healing past traumas or issues that might be holding you back from moving forward.
Once the soil is free from old, negative roots, it’s time to plant new seeds—representing fresh, positive perspectives and healthy relationship habits. You water and monitor these new seeds regularly, nurturing them with faith, self-awareness, and spiritual growth.
Finally, with patience and consistent care, you begin to see a new, beautiful harvest. Your garden blooms, just as your life begins to mirror the fulfilling, loving relationship you’ve always dreamed of. The six-step Getting To The Root process leads to both personal, spiritual, and relationship transformation, ensuring a prosperous garden of love.

Photo by Artem Zykin on Pexels.comImagine your life is a garden and your marriage was a tree within it. For years, you tended to the tree, watering it with love and pruning it with care. But despite your efforts, the tree withered and eventually had to be removed—much like when divorce uproots the foundation of what you once thought was forever.
Planting Seeds After a Storm
Just like a garden after a storm, your life feels barren, the soil turned, and roots exposed. It’s here that Dr. Reva steps in as a knowledgeable gardener, guiding you to survey the damage with compassion and understanding. She hands you a set of shiny new tools—her six-step process for healing.
Identifying the Root
With resolve, you crouch down, digging into the soil of your past, recognizing the remnants of your marriage as the roots beneath the surface. Some are large, entangling with family and personal history, laden with the weight of generational patterns.
Preparing the Soil
You extract these roots, feeling the liberation and also the fear of the empty spaces they leave behind. The once-neglected garden—your heart—is now ready for new seeds. Armed with classes, prayer, fasting, and scriptures, Dr. Reva encourages you to carefully select them. They’re not just seeds of any plant but represent transformation and renewal.
Nurturing the Garden
As the days pass, the seeds start to sprout. You attentively water them, monitoring each new growth. This stage is delicate; like embracing new habits and thoughts, you must be patient and persistent. Dr. Reva smiles knowingly, teaching the importance of not just tending to the growing plants but also enjoying the process.
Awaiting the Harvest
Harvest time isn’t instant. Dr. Reva shares her own story—she hasn’t yet fully reaped what she has sown but recognizes the sprouts as promise. The love, joy, and peace that grow within her are fruits themselves, and they indicate a bountiful harvest on the horizon.
Growth Beyond Expectations
Each developing plant in your garden, each fruit of the spirit, becomes an unexpected blessing. They transcend the simple goal of restoring what was lost and lead towards a garden that’s diverse and vibrant in ways you hadn’t anticipated.
A Joyful Journey
The analogy concludes as Dr. Reva reminds you that the journey of tending to your garden is ongoing. With tools in hand and a heart ready for change, your garden—once a place of loss—becomes a testament to growth, resilience, and the beauty that exists after the storm

Imagine you’re a dedicated gardener in the beautiful but intricate Garden of Matrimony. This isn’t just any ordinary garden. It’s one that’s been passed down through many generations, with soil that has felt both the nurturing touch of rain and the scorching trials of the sun.
On the first day, Dr. Reva teaches us about the garden’s history, its ancient roots, and how sometimes weeds grow from seeds of old habits or unresolved conflicts. You learn to identify these spiritual weeds, which are like unwanted spirits that wither the garden’s beauty.
By the second day, you’re equipped with knowledge about the garden’s past, understanding the hidden layers beneath the surface that influence the landscape you see today. Your own Garden of Matrimony had started to wilt, and now you begin to trace the patterns back through your garden’s history, finding that the issues of separation and divorce have been like persistent weeds, sprouting in every new bed of flowers.
The third day dawns, and it’s time to roll up your sleeves. Extracting roots is tough work, sweat beads on your forehead as you set to clear the garden, making space to nurture something new. You recall midnight conversations, inherited stories of separations that, like invasive species, crept into your garden. Dr. Reva reminds you to sow new seeds of forgiveness and learning, planting into the cleared earth the promise of future blooms.
Now, it’s day four. After all that hard work, your garden’s soil is turned, and new seeds are nestled in the earth. It’s time for watering and monitoring, emphasizes Dr. Reva. Your garden will require a steady flow of water—consistent effort and spiritual nourishment. You will monitor like a mindful caretaker, adjusting supports for the tender stems of reconciliation and removal of pesky weeds like impatience or miscommunication that threaten to choke new growth.
And just like a gardener must learn the delicate balance of patience and action, Janice asks about balancing the participation in nurturing the garden when only one gardener seems to notice the weeds. Dr. Reva’s wisdom can be likened to a mentor gardener who knows when and how to let a plant seek light on its own. For even in a garden, no force can compel a flower to open before its time.
With the right prayers, like the sun and rain, providing life-giving energy, even those plants that seem lost to the shadows may find their way back into the sunlight. And as every diligent gardener knows, while you cannot control the weather or force a seed to sprout, you can continue to tend to the earth, water diligently, and have faith that in time, your Garden of Matrimony will flourish once again, blooming with flowers of love, respect, and unity—rooted deeply and beautifully in sacred ground.

Photo by Andrea Piacquadio on Pexels.comImagine your life is like a beautiful garden. Now, let’s think of marriage as a delicate rose bush planted within this garden. When the garden is well-tended, the roses bloom magnificently, exuding beauty and fragrance. However, sometimes, harmful roots from weeds—representing the negative patterns and issues in our family histories—begin to snake their way unnoticed beneath the soil. Over time, they can strangle and starve the rose bush, ultimately impacting its health and causing it to wilt, analogous to the way unresolved issues can lead to separation or divorce.
Dr. Reva teaches us that to restore our garden, we must do more than simply snip at the visible weeds of current struggles. We need to dig deep into the soil of our lives and extract these menacing roots completely, much like understanding and addressing the deep-seated issues that affect marriages. Just as important as removal is the planting of new, healthy seeds—representing positive mindsets and biblically aligned perspectives on marriage. These seeds need to be nurtured with care, love, and spiritual insight to grow into strong, resilient plants that can resist the invasion of harmful roots in the future.
As we turn the soil and plant these new, vibrant seeds, let’s imagine that each seed is a scripture or a lesson learned, like mindfulness that marriage is sacred and a covenant not to be broken. We protect and nurture these seeds by surrounding ourselves with supportive, like-minded individuals who honor marital sanctity and by practicing actions that align with our values, much like watering our newly planted seeds and ensuring they have the light they require.
With patience and faithfulness, a once troubled garden can return to life, abundant with flowers and beauty, where harmful weeds have no place to take root. As Dr. Reva guides us through watering and monitoring our garden, we eagerly anticipate the final day when we can marvel at the flourishing, bountiful harvest—a metaphor for a relationship that is not only restored but thrives in God’s love and wisdom.

Photo by Nicolas Postiglioni on Pexels.comOnce upon a time, in a lush and lively garden, there lived a diligent gardener named Faith. This garden was special; not only did it bear the usual fruits and flowers, but it also blossomed with Love, Joy, Peace, and all the fruits of the spirit. However, as much as the garden flourished, there was an area that remained barren, where only thorns and weeds grew, stifling the life around it.
Faith discovered that these thorns were not ordinary; they were the thorny vines of Discord, sprouting from an ancient seed of Separation planted long ago. Just like in real families where troubles like separation and divorce can leave a lasting mark, this Discord had a generational root, entangling every new plant that tried to grow nearby in its vice-like grip.
Photo by Markus Spiske on Pexels.comDetermined to restore the garden to its full glory, Faith set about the 6-step process to renewal as taught by Dr. Reva in the “Let’s Get To The Root of Divorce Day 2” session:
Identifying the Root: Faith had to get down on her knees and dig deep to find the seed of Separation that started it all.
Understanding the Growth: She examined how the thorny vines of Discord wound their way through the soil, realizing they were fed by whispers of doubt and neglect.
Extracting the Root: With care and precision, Faith began to remove the thorny vines, ensuring every piece was gone to prevent it from regrowing.
Planting New Seeds: In place of the old, hurtful seed, Faith planted seeds of Unity and Forgiveness, symbols of the healthy relationships we hope to cultivate in our lives.
Watering and Monitoring: She tended to these new seeds with encouragement and prayer, much like covering family members in prayer to protect them.
Reaping a New Harvest: Over time, the once barren patch blossomed with new life, brimming with the vibrant beauty of restored relationships.
Faith learned, as Dr. Reva shared, that the garden of her heart was not simply for her alone. It was a place where generational blessings could thrive if she remained vigilant in guarding against the spiritual weeds of life, doing the inner work, and keeping the gates of her soul closed to the invasive spirits of Discord and Separation.
Each plant in Faith’s garden stood as a testament to a family healed, a marriage mended, and a heart made whole, a vibrant reflection of the bountiful harvest that awaits when we tend to the spiritual roots of our lives.

Photo by Pixabay on Pexels.comImagine that your marriage is like a beautiful house—the kind of place where everyone would want to live. It has strong walls, a sturdy roof, and rooms filled with love and memories. Now, just like any house, maintaining it is key to keeping it safe and beautiful. If you neglect it, over time, the paint could chip away, the doors might start to creak, and the foundation can begin to weaken.
In Dr. Reva’s lesson, she talks about the concept of generational curses and negative spiritual elements as being akin to termites that gnaw at the very foundation of your marriage-house. These termites could be fear, jealousy, or dishonesty, and they’re not always easy to spot. Sometimes, they come from deep under the house in places you don’t see every day, passed down through the family line like an old, forgotten pipeline that’s been leaking for years.
Now, imagine that each room in this house has a door, and these doors are meant to keep the warmth in and the storms out. But what if someone left a window cracked open or a door ajar? Wind, rain, and critters could sneak in, causing damage quietly over time. These open doors in Dr. Reva’s analogy represent unresolved issues, like unforgiveness or past emotional trauma, and they invite harmful influences into your relationship.
Photo by F. Hektor on Pexels.comSpiritually speaking, Dr. Reva advises to go about closing these doors and repairing this termite damage with the practice of repentance, identifying hidden problems, and engaging in spiritual warfare—which is akin to calling in your trusted repair team to fix the house, oil the hinges, seal the windows, and exterminate any pests.
The evil altars Dr. Reva mentions can be thought of as the source of the termites or the storm that relentlessly tests the integrity of your house’s structure. They’re places where the elements conspiring against your home’s serenity are fueled and strengthened. To dismantle these spiritual “termite colonies,” she suggests using powerful tools like scriptures (the pest control formula), anointing oil (the protective sealant), and nightly prayers (the watchful repair crew working around the clock to fortify your home).
By participating in the Let’s Get to the Root of Divorce Challenge and using the provided worksheets and guidance, you’re essentially enrolling in a master class in home maintenance, specializing in termite prevention and weatherproofing your spiritual house, ensuring that the marriage within stands strong and resolute against the elements and the tests of time.

Imagine you’re living in a beautiful, quaint village nestled in the heart of a vast orchard. The villagers rely heavily on the fruit trees for sustenance, community activities, and even their sense of purpose and belonging. However, over time, strange issues start to crop up. Some of the fruit trees begin to produce sour fruit, while others cease bearing fruit altogether.
One day, a wise gardener named Jo Ann arrives in the village. The villagers show her the withering trees and the sour fruits. Without hesitation, Jo Ann begins to examine not the fruit, but the roots of the trees. She shares a parable with the villagers that mirrors their predicament:
“Consider your orchard as the garden of your life, where each tree represents an area of your personal growth and spiritual health. You see, the fruits are your actions and outcomes, shaped by the health of the roots—your foundational beliefs, thoughts, and spiritual connections. When the roots are nourished with the pure water of Holy Scripture and the principles of righteousness, the trees flourish, producing the sweet fruits of holiness and love. However, when the roots are infected by the pests of sin, doubt, or past traumas—the deep-rooted issues—the trees suffer, yielding sour fruits and sometimes stunting growth.”
Jo Ann then introduces them to her special program, the “Abiding in the Glory of God.” She explains it like a boot camp, where villagers learn how to tend to their spiritual roots, ensuring they’re planted in the fertile soil of God’s Word. She emphasizes the importance of not just pruning the branches or picking the bad fruit but going deeper to treat the roots with care, ensuring that any generational and spiritual pests are dealt with thoroughly.
Through Jo Ann’s guidance, the villagers set out, with their shovels of humility and watering cans filled with compassion, to heal their roots individually and as a community. As they follow Jo Ann’s nurturing advice, the orchard begins to transform. The boot camp participants form a tight knit gardening committee, supporting each other while tending their trees and ensuring they maintain their newfound health and vibrancy.
Some time passes, and the village’s orchard becomes bountiful again, full of luscious, sweet fruit. Jo Ann’s “Abiding in the Glory of God” program becomes the pride of the village, a testament to the importance of addressing the root issues, walking in purity and righteousness, and upholding an environment where every villager can thrive under the nurturing warmth of the orchard’s glory.

For Christians seeking to identify and address hindrances to experiencing a life of abundance, there are several key principles and practices that can be helpful. Here are some suggestions to consider:
Prayer and Seeking God: Begin by earnestly seeking God’s guidance and wisdom through prayer. Ask Him to reveal any specific hindrances in your life that may be preventing you from experiencing abundance.
Self-Examination and Repentance: Engage in self-reflection and examine your heart, attitudes, and behaviors. Identify areas of sin, pride, unforgiveness, or disobedience that may be blocking God’s blessings. Repentance involves acknowledging and turning away from these hindrances, seeking God’s forgiveness, and choosing to live in alignment with His Word.
Scripture Study and Meditation: Immerse yourself in the teachings of the Bible. Regularly study God’s Word, meditate on its principles, and seek understanding of how they apply to your life. Allow the Scriptures to shape your thoughts, beliefs, and actions.
Cultivate a Relationship with Jesus: Strengthen your relationship with Jesus Christ through regular worship, fellowship, and communion with other believers. Spend time in His presence, listening for His guidance, and growing in intimacy with Him.
Seek Wise Counsel: Seek guidance from mature Christians, pastors, or mentors who can provide godly wisdom and accountability. They can offer valuable insights, encouragement, and support as you navigate the challenges and hindrances in your life.
Cultivate Gratitude and Contentment: Develop an attitude of gratitude for the blessings in your life, regardless of your circumstances. Contentment does not mean complacency but rather recognizing God’s provision and trusting His timing and plans for your life.
Stewardship and Generosity: Practice good stewardship of your resources, including time, talents, and finances. Be faithful in managing what God has entrusted to you and cultivate a spirit of generosity. Giving cheerfully and sacrificially can break the bondage of materialism and open the way for abundance to flow.
Walk in Faith and Trust: Trust in God’s faithfulness and provision, even when facing challenges or setbacks. Strengthen your faith by recalling God’s past faithfulness in your life and the lives of others. Step out in obedience to His leading, even when it seems uncertain or uncomfortable.
Remember that abundance in the Christian context encompasses more than just material wealth. It includes spiritual blessings, peace, joy, love, and a sense of purpose aligned with God’s will. By aligning your life with biblical principles and seeking God’s guidance, you can begin to overcome hindrances and experience the abundant life God desires for you.

Photo by Monstera on Pexels.comRejection can be a deeply rooted issue that affects various aspects of a person’s life. Addressing the root issues of rejection requires understanding and healing on emotional, psychological, and spiritual levels. Here are some key steps to consider:

Photo by Pixabay on Pexels.comTo get to the root of what is hindering you from experiencing a life of abundance as a Christian, it’s important to engage in deeper introspection and explore various aspects of your faith and personal life. Here are some additional steps you can take to dig deeper:
Identify Limiting Beliefs: Examine your beliefs about abundance, prosperity, and God’s provision. Are there any limiting beliefs or misconceptions that you hold? For example, you may subconsciously believe that wealth or abundance is inherently sinful or that you don’t deserve to experience abundance. Identifying and challenging these beliefs can help you overcome mental and spiritual barriers.
Healing and Inner Work: Sometimes past wounds, traumas, or negative experiences can hinder your ability to receive God’s blessings fully. Consider seeking healing through prayer, counseling, or inner healing ministries. This process can help you address emotional baggage, release unforgiveness, and find wholeness in Christ.
Surrender and Trust: Reflect on whether you have truly surrendered all areas of your life to God. Are there areas where you are still trying to control outcomes or relying on your own strength? Surrendering control and trusting in God’s plan can remove barriers and open the way for abundance.
Examine Lifestyle Choices: Evaluate your lifestyle choices and priorities. Are there areas where you are investing excessive time, energy, or resources that may be hindering you from experiencing abundance in other areas? This could include unhealthy habits, addictive behaviors, or excessive focus on material possessions. Seek balance and align your choices with God’s principles.
Seek Spiritual Discernment: Develop your ability to discern the leading of the Holy Spirit. Regularly spend time in prayer, seeking God’s guidance, and listening for His voice. The Holy Spirit can reveal deep-rooted issues or areas of growth that need attention and provide wisdom on how to overcome them.
Community and Accountability: Engage in a supportive Christian community where you can find accountability, encouragement, and mutual growth. Share your journey with trusted fellow believers who can provide feedback, prayer, and support as you seek to overcome hindrances.
Remember, the process of uncovering root hindrances and experiencing abundance is a lifelong journey. Stay committed to your relationship with God, continue seeking His guidance, and trust that He is faithful to reveal and address the underlying issues that may be hindering you.

Photo by Samuel Wu00f6lfl on Pexels.com“And the guard stood, every man with his weapons in his hand, round about the king, from the right corner of the temple to the left corner of the temple, along by the altar and the temple.” 2 Kings 11:11 KJV
Imagine if we guarded our heart and mind like a soldier guards a king. It would be like a fortress that cannot be penetrated. The decisions we make would be different due to the protection that is surrounding the most vital parts of our being. When I read that scripture it made me think over my life. If I would have guarded my heart and mind like the guard with weapons in hand; from the right and the left of my temple (body). I would have made better decisions and experienced a lot less brokenness in my life. I say to myself, if I only knew back then what I know now. But when I look deeper; I think about God’s Word. What was intended for bad; God will make good out of it to help other people (Genesis 50:20).
What do you do to guard your heart and mind? Do you isolate yourself from others? Do you put on a facial expression that non-verbally warns people to avoid you at all costs? Or do you shut down completely in an attempt to protect yourself? Oftentimes, when we attempt to guard our heart and mind in our strength, by using our defense mechanisms. It does not work out well for us. We end up doing more damage spiritually, emotionally, and mentally to ourselves.
It is important to take care of the spiritual part first and then everything else will fall into place. Bible scripture is one of the best ways to learn how to effectively guard your heart and mind. David is a perfect example of someone who was going through a challenging time while he was hiding in a cave. He knew how to rise above by trusting that God would help him make it through when Saul wanted him dead (Psalms 57). When we have a relationship with God and study His Word. He begins to teach us life principles and gives us instructions on how to implement those life principles into our everyday lives.
Changing our mindsets will enable us to change our hearts. The Bible states that we are to carefully and persistently control what we allow our hearts to focus on (Proverbs 4:23). We are obligated to refrain from hurting others and letting others hurt us (Luke 6:31). To aid in implementing this concept. We need to keep from being offended. The Bible says that we are to look over an offense (Proverbs 19:11). When we get offended or mistreated, that is when we begin to guard our heart and mind. Because someone has done something to us; that we believe has hurt us in some way. We need to keep our mind focused on things that are positive (Philippians 4:8). Due to our perception of how badly we were offended. It can be difficult to train our mind from rehearsing the hurt over and over again. Which leads us into stinking thinking. To keep our minds in a positive direction; we can call on Jesus Christ to help us. He said that anything we ask in His name, He will do. So that the Father may be glorified in the Son (John 14:13).
Asking Jesus to help us keep a positive mindset will bring glory to God. When our heart and mind are in alignment with God. Good things will begin to flow out of us. We can begin to produce good fruit out of our hearts. Those good fruits bring blessings to us and it can bring blessings to others as well. Some of the fruits that can be produced from having a well-guarded heart and mind are hope, empathy, compassion, forgiveness, patience, kindness, peace and love. Those are just to name a few.
I want to share some ways to help you guard your heart and mind in a spiritual way that will benefit you in moving forward:
I pray that this post may help someone who wants to begin to guard their heart and mind using biblical principles. Until next time, may God bless you and keep you!

Susie Christian has become a follower of Jesus Christ. She joined her local church, and now that she has become a member, she wonders what’s next. Susie listens to the pastor’s sermons, and while in the sanctuary, she feels inspired by the word. She believes every word that the pastor says and feels blessed. But soon as she gets to the parking lot or back home, the inspiration goes away, and she begins to feel like something is still missing in her life. She continues to sin and not turn away from it. She continues to fall into a backslidden condition.
She goes through the same cycles over and over again that bring frustration and despair. She thinks there has to be more to being a Christian than going to church on Sunday and Wednesday Bible Study. She still senses a void in her heart. She wants to experience God like the people in the Bible did. She wants signs, wonders, and miracles to follow her. She wants to lay hands on her friends and family members that are sick and heal them like Jesus said that she would be able to do. She wants to feel God’s presence not only in the sanctuary, but at her home, at her job, at the grocery store, and even in her car.
She wants to understand God as a Spirit. She wants to know God intimately in spirit and in truth at all hours. She wants to see the church functioning as the body of Christ, not a church that is just top-heavy, with a bunch of pastors, ministers, and elders who are not equipping the saints to go out in the world. She wants to be taught like Jesus Christ taught the disciples to go out into the world. She realizes that the pastor cannot help her because he’s busy with his other obligations. She realizes that other members in the congregation cannot help her because they are experiencing the same issues she has.
She needs someone who has the solution to her problem. She realizes she needs a Christian Spiritual Life Coach (CSLC) who has experienced the same struggles and has a solution to help her. A CSLC that can use her own spiritual journey experience, biblical principles/scriptures, and life coaching skills/techniques to help her begin to experience God and grow spiritually to begin to have that void filled. The void of a close intimate relationship with her Lord & Savior. She is searching for a CSLC that understands Matthew 6:33 and can provide the guidance and support she needs.
