Bryan and Nick continue their conversation about Solipsism and other stuff. This description could be better, but does it really matter? I mean, we're all in a matrix anyway, right? LOL.

Nick and Bryan are feeling alone in their discussion about Solipsism. It seems like they shouldn't feel that way as they record their voices and send them out to the void. Have you ever thought that our whole universe could be on the head of a pin? Well, it really could be...

In this episode Bryan and Nick welcome long time friend and fellow Toastmaster, Isaiah Marshall. They decided to tackle the concept of authenticity (I know, pretty big, right?). Isaiah brings his own perspective on the subject.

In this episode, Bryan and Nick discuss never splitting the difference. What is the common skills with hostage negotiations and getting what you want in every day life? Well the book Never Split the Difference by ex-FBI hostage negotiator does a great job trying to connect the two. Seems like there shouldn't be as many connections as there are, but Chris Voss certainly makes a good case for those connections being there.

In the second part of the discussion about change, Bryan and Nick discuss some ways to deal with change. Whether the change is thrust upon you or you decide to make a change, there are definitely things that can be done to make the change easier to cope with.

Bryan and Nick embark on a discussion about change. We all have to deal with it and we all hate it to some extent, but how do you deal with it? This may be a 2, 3, or 4 parter, but rest assured that Bryan and Nick won't change their format to allow you to have maximum comfort level.

Nick and Bryan are very argumentative in this episode. They both wanted to explore the difference between having an argument and a discussion or a debate. Are there differences? Which is more effective? Is there a way to get through life without arguing? What is some of the ways to diffuse a situation that seems to be going towards an argument? Of course, Bryan had to make reference to Stephen Covey.

(See) What actions do you take based on that paradigm (Stephen Covey's word that means your view of the world)? (Do) What results do you get from those actions, based upon that view of the world or situation? (Get) Listen to hear them fumble through and "speak somewhat from ignorance" as they usually do!! LOL.

For the last episode of 2022, Bryan and Nick decided to see how some people tweak their new year's resolutions. Nick found a short, but great, video talking about making your resolutions broader and into themes that you could work on for a part of the year. In the vein of self-improvement, Bryan and Nick wanted to talk about it and share it with you guys.

Fear of success is one of those fears, fear of health, fear of love, etc. How many times have you thought that you wanted something, but just weren't able to bring yourself to do anything to accomplish it? Well, you may have a fear of negative consequences of the achievement of that goal, but you may also be afraid of the positive things that could come out of the achievement of that goal.

What?!? A two-parter?! Bryan, Nick, and listener-turned-guest Marshall Couch continue the conversation... Apparently, there are plenty of idiots to talk about... I mean, talk around. In this episode they try to take it a little further and see why some people are so confident that they know things, when they so clearly don't. Also, who's actually doing the work in society? Of course, there are principles and phenomena which give some great fodder for discussion. Maybe the real idiots are the friends we made along the way.
