Nicole shares her journey of transitioning from operating a food business to becoming a business coach. She speaks about the ups and downs of her entrepreneurship journey, emphasizing the importance of persistence and pre-planning for long-term business operations. She highlights the challenges faced in her food business and how that has impacted her business today.
She details the concept of an "evergreen model" - a system where companies are prepared to sell and deliver products all the time. Nicole explains how this strategy is more sustainable compared to the high-pressure scenario of trying to make all sales within a specific launch period.
We touch on the importance of attuning listening skills for better customer interaction and adjusting business strategies based on the changing needs of the clients all while balancing motherhood.
If both motherhood and entrepreneurship apply to you, you can’t separate the two. Nicole discusses at length about how she successfully manages these two vital roles. Additionally illustrating the necessity of learning from past experiences, being adaptable, resilient, and having long-term perspectives in running a successful business.

In this episode I sat down with Marisa Lonic, who is an expert in time management and mindset coaching, specially geared towards mothers who are also entrepreneurs. Marisa originally had a traditional corporate career, but eventually transitioned into becoming an entrepreneur while managing her duties as a working mother of four children.
You will hear the intimate details about her journey, discussing the anxieties and challenges of balancing work and motherhood. She reflects upon her own struggles with time management and gives listeners insight into her epiphany that led her towards her current career path.
Specifically, Marisa shares that her time management improvement journey started with a mindset shift. She encourages reframing the mindset from believing "I don't have time" to "it's not a priority right now." Such a shift, she explains, forces individuals to reevaluate how they prioritize activities in their life and will help you realize if you’re investing time in the right places.
Underscoring the importance of clarity in determining daily goals, Marisa gives the statistic that 80 to 95 percent of success boils down to a strong, positive mindset. And she shares just how to do that! Her system will lead to a feeling of accomplishment and productivity.
Marisa’s Time MOMagement mini-course offers a deep dive into topics like dealing with distractions, forming productive habits, and effectively multitasking. Trust me, you do not want to miss out on this one!

In this episode, you will hear a live coaching session I had with Lauren Monique on creating her Custom Cash Formula. The Custom Cash Formula involves determining the goal number, calculating the time available for offering services, deciding on the offer price, and setting sales and conversation goals.
Lauren, a mompreneur from Canada, has two sides to her business—one focused on coaching teachers and the other on consulting online expert business owners. Our discussion covers goal-setting, pricing strategy, and planning for sales calls and conversations to achieve her desired income. We also address concerns about networking efficiency and strategizing for meaningful connections at events.
Listen in as we go over the importance of setting intentions and having a positive energy when networking. We emphasize the value of making genuine connections, following up with contacts, and customizing business strategies to fit individual needs - which leads me to share about my program called "Empower to Profit M.O.R.E." This program aims to provide support for implementing these practices in business for increased success and fulfillment.

I can hardly believe it, we're celebrating the three-year anniversary of the Brilliant Mompreneurs Facebook group, coinciding with the beginning of this podcast!
In this episode, I'm excited to share insider details about the group's journey, from the good behavior to the bad and ugly, revealing the strategies that helped us reach 6,000 active members!
As we dive into the celebration, I reflect on the intentional creation of the group and its uniqueness as a community for mompreneurs. Addressing the question of whether Facebook groups are still relevant, I can attest that they indeed are, with billions of people on the platform and a significant number engaged in groups. This episode shares the intentional design of the Brilliant Mompreneurs Society, emphasizing the importance of community, encouragement, and self-promotion.
Discussing growth strategy, I reveal a 10-minute daily marketing approach that has consistently expanded the group. I also let you in on the secret to how you can tap into that high engagement rate within your community.
As we celebrate the group's three-year journey, I'm excited to announce giveaways and activities, including a hashtag celebration campaign, a discounted mini-course on growing Facebook communities, and free live coaching sessions for selected participants.
I would like to extend an invitation to you to join the celebration, participate in the giveaways, and be apart of the exciting journey ahead in the Brilliant Mompreneurs Society.

From the front porch of her childhood home in a small Texas town, she could see the church where she learned about Jesus and her faith began to take root. When she went to college, the shock of city life was real when her first class at The University of Texas in Austin was larger than her entire town. She made it through the 4 years and upon graduation, she got a wild hair and went to Mexico to study Spanish. Her 2 week trip turned into 8 months and an engagement to her husband of now 30 years. She and Michael created their home in Texas and raised 4 beautiful, unique children who all share their sense of adventure and faith.
Never shying away from a challenge, Lori's entrepreneurial spirit has led her to create a wide variety of businesses including, but not limited to, baking cakes, a public relations company, and becoming a highly sought after faux painter. Some of those endeavors have been very successful and some not so much. The setbacks, the trials and the successes are what she draws upon to mentor women today. She finds it an honor to inspire them to embrace their value, boldly take initiative and turn dreams into reality.

Ready for something that's not talked about enough? When it comes to us as women entrepreneurs, especially moms who are trying to grow and scale a business. There are two things that I believe are necessary and vital and... surprising to grow your business.
They're not talked about very often. They are not paid attention to because they don't seem like THE strategy. They're not the sexy strategy that's going on around here. They're not the algorithm beating thing. And I think that's a shame because knowing these two things and feeling good and confident in these two things are going to give you so much more growth and foundation for your business to be able to scale them and help with anything else you do in your business.

Congratulations, you survived the summer! And now we get to survive the transition from summer to back to school and back to business – doing the routines and all of that. So if you have kiddos in school (like me) and you’re transitioning to “back to school” during the month of August and September, this episode is going to be for you.
Here are some of the tips and tricks that I have learned along the way having six kiddos who are in school now for several years. There’s some things with combining back to school and getting back into the business that I really like and just feel help us as mom entrepreneurs.
This is going to be very mom centered advice as well as some business too, but I’m going to start on the mom’s side. Because this is really where it starts. We have to start with ourselves and our mom life and get that chaos all taken care of in order to feel settled.

Too often we jump off the bandwagon too soon and don’t see the full effect of the course OR we haven’t taken the action we needed to take in order to give our strategy the time it needs to see results.

Hey BRILLIANT mamas!
The right tools can take hours of work off your plate and help you run your business smoothly. In today's episode, I’m sharing 5 tools that I use every single day in my business! (You just may be surprised about #2!)
Brilliant Recommendations:
This episode is about boundaries, why they're so important, and who you need to have boundaries with.
It is so important to set clear boundaries and have them in place so that you are not interrupted and you can maximize your time - so that you're not stretched thin. Also so that you don't feel used or taken advantage of because no one wants to feel used or taken advantage of. No one wants to feel the feeling of people just not respecting them or being on call all the time, because you're not, and should not be on call all the time!
At some point we have to put up a boundary. We have to give ourselves permission that not everything is an emergency and that not everything has to have our attention every second of every day.

We know we want some big things from our business, but we're stuck in this cycle of what do I do next? Should I do this? Should I do that? Because we're, constantly asking ourselves, ‘What should we do and what should I do next?’ and debating and looking at all the possibilities and all the options, we're stuck in that cycle.
We're not actually taking any action which then prevents us from growth and it prevents us from even knowing what will work and what won’t work, because we're too busy trying to guess what will and what won't.
I want you to get out of this analysis paralysis that you're stuck in. I want you to remember this resource as a process of how you can get out of analysis paralysis and take action and make things happen.

Getting more profit, more time, or energy is the conversation that I see constantly happening. I want more!
A lot of us as mom entrepreneurs feel maxed out on how much we can do. We want more, but the thought of more on our list overwhelms us.
I have this desire for more in my life. More fulfillment, more energy, more joy, more all the things. So how do I get this more? And does that mean I have to do more?
What if my audience is not responding to me when I post in those Facebook groups? Or what if there is crickets when I'm posting on social media? What do I do? What then?
I thought I was doing the right thing. I'm showing up, but there's no response. I've been there and I've done that, and I've talked to my clients. We understand, and I know you've been there, and maybe you're there right now, or maybe you're like, I used to get responses and I used to have people talking to me.
There are going to be several reasons and possible explanations of why you're not getting responses to your post or no engagement, all of that.
Let's talk about it.
One of the big game changer steps that you can do as an entrepreneur is to really treat your business like a business. And I'm going to talk about that today.
How can I be sure that I'm treating my business like a business with the expectations that are clear and attainable and are going to take me to that next level?
We're going to talk about the five marketing tips every mom entrepreneur needs to know and where should she be showing up, using relationship marketing.
We will be discussing the when, why, and how to use it.
Free stuff only goes so far… We want to get that initial connection with people, but it often takes more than one touch point in order for someone to trust us, to buy from us, to believe what we're offering is going to solve their problem and is what they really want.
Follow up, intentional follow up is going to make a big difference. Huge difference to getting that sale and having that deeper conversation, which leads to that - ‘Yes!’
We're gonna be talking this week about confidence and how to get confident in yourself, in your business, in showing up, in doing sales and promoting yourself. How do you get confident enough to try to stand out in this sea of many millions of people on the internet and even in person.
If somebody asks you what you do, or what you offer, how do you build confidence in yourself and in your business?
You've heard of the ‘I help’ statement. People ask you, “What do you do?” Those are really important things to know but there is a really powerful piece that is missing for so many of us as entrepreneurs like myself.
I started this way, I've been guilty of this. I'll come and just tell somebody, “Oh, I'm a business coach and clarity coach and I help people with business strategies for mom entrepreneurs.” And that's supposed to generate excitement and interest?!
Nope, it does not because it doesn’t paint any kind of picture or cast a vision of what could happen if that person that was listening to me is a mom entrepreneur. Me telling them what I do and what my titles are mean, nothing!
We need to cast a vision for them and the results that they want. Whenever we're talking to someone, we should be able to clearly communicate and paint that picture that is going to get their mind like ‘Yes, please!’
Get ready for a sassy episode!
"Make $10k months" is pushed all day long in your social media feed. And while $10k in sales is a great goal...
It may just be the worst thing for your business. Let me tell you why!
If you are at a loss and deficit in your time, energy, & fulfillment this month, you won't be able to sustain, repeat, and scale from a place of overwhelm, exhaustion, and hustle.
Let's dive deep into how to set up your business for $10k months with EASE and sustainability!

The struggle is real! We have too much to do and not enough time to do it. The overwhelm sets in and we get stuck in a loop that we can’t seem to get out of. It’s a vicious cycle. I was once stuck in that cycle but proud to say I broke through and changed my life forever and you can too!
Whatever your feelings are, embrace them, learn from them, and adjust from them. We're gonna to be talking about some of these big feelings and in fact the vicious cycle that sometimes these feelings can create.
Are you ready to see the results you really want? Self Leadership is the skill you need to develop! I could give you strategy after strategy. I could give you tools. I could give you resources. I could give you examples. I could give you plug and plays. I could give you templates, BUT...
The success that you truly want, and that could be potential with all of those resources I just listed above is going to be tenfold and more, if you can learn the skill of self-leadership.
Because self-leadership is a game changer piece that sets apart those that are moving fast and moving intentionally, and moving!

Hey BRILLIANT mamas!
Creating an online course or membership can be an amazing way to build a flexible, family-friendly business! But where do we start? What to do build? How do we market it? It seems with each answer there is another question, and the whole process could feel extremely overwhelming. Today though, we're chatting with Meg Burrage; and brilliant Mompreneur who has built an online business, a team, and a lifestyle around her family and want's you to know that YOU CAN TOO!
BRILLIANT recommendations:
About Meg:Meg's business story started with a concept that won lots of awards, scored multiple media appearances, and very nearly sent her into bankruptcy. She missed the memo that a good idea simply wasn't enough. The stress of that first business nearly killed her! Relationship strain, health issues, lost pregnancies, there was seemingly no light at the end of this entrepreneurial tunnel. Thankfully, a friend turned her attention to online course creation, and helping entrepreneurs without tech capabilities launch their online programs.
She quickly became obsessed with Kajabi because it enabled her to very quickly grow a new 6 figure business that meant her corporate life was a thing of the past, her husband had renewed faith in her capabilities, and she was able to run my business from the comfort of home!
Today, she is a 6-figure launch specialist who helps women streamline and scale their online programs on the Kajabi platform. About the Host:Lani is a mom to six kids (half of which are adopted from foster care), and wife to her husband of fifteen years. She survives on caffeine, laughing with her kids, cooking in the kitchen, hiding in the pantry eating chocolate, and helping other women know they are not alone in the chaos of motherhood & their entrepreneur journey.
She is a Clarity & Strategy Coach for mom entrepreneurs! Helping them to double their income without doubling their to-do list. Her mission is to help mompreneurs get out of survival mode, release the mom guilt, and create a clear plan of action that will help them reach their dreams of 5k months and more!

Hey BRILLIANT mamas!
There is so much pressure on us as moms and entrepreneurs! Our lists go on forever with things we are supposed to do. There's pressure to make sure our kids have perfectly balanced meals, and the best education, in our business there is social media pressure, pressure to grow our business faster or show up in a different way, have a bigger email list, have a perfect website, to always be "hustling" and the list goes on and on and on. So today I'm giving you three ways to change that narrative and go from pressure and hustle to intentionality!

We've all probably seen the ads by people telling us that we can make a fortune with very little effort, selling printables. Maybe you've even tried it! But a lot of the courses that are available teach you how to make nice printables but they don't teach you how to sell printables. A lot of people will get started, they make something great, and then they can't understand why it's not selling.
Today Cait is sharing what she's learned (good, bad, and otherwise) about successfully selling printables and digital products.

Hey BRILLIANT mamas!
Have said any of the following this week:
I'm so tired. I have so much to do. I'm so overwhelmed. And I don't know how I'm going to do it all.
If so (or if you've just thought it) I want to introduce you to the M.O.M. method. This is something that came from all of that pressure, and all of that overwhelm. This is what made all the difference in my business; taking me from barely surviving and trying to figure out what to do with my business, making $400 a month, to making $4,000 a month and then doubling that again.
It's simple, easy, and effective! And today I'm breaking it all down in this short solo episode!

She speaks about her journey of becoming a mompreneur, starting as a supportive wife to her entrepreneur husband, to travel blogging, purpose coaching, and running her own successful business as a copywriter. Sarah goes in depth about her experience with pivoting at different points in her life, but ALWAYS leveraging her connections and relationships brilliantly. She also shares with us how she invested in a business coach during a time of financial hardship, but made her investment back AND so much more!
About the Guest:**
Sarah is a copywriter and voice of customer research specialist. She is certified through CopyHackers for sales pages, Facebook ads, and emails. If you find her on the weekend you'll see her with her toes in the sand and probably trying out a new kombucha.

This episode is all about relationship marketing. Growing your business can be difficult, and as an entrepreneur, you have to be comfortable with talking about yourself. There are many ways to go about marketing, but in my experience, relationship marketing is one of the best methods for organic growth on social media. Relationship marketing focuses on building relationships naturally as a means to finding clients and growing your business.(20+) Brilliant Mompreneurs Society | Facebook
