We will give what we feel is a more accurate and balanced coverage of the health and medicine issues in the news and explain these issues in plain English!

In this episode we explore how medicines are taken by mouth, why not all medicines are available as a liquid, and how to take unpleasant tasting medicines as well as tips on learning the life skill of swallowing tablets!

At any one time, one in 10 of us will be depressed. Over a lifetime 1 in 5 will be affected by depression.
The lockdown and the pandemic are having a significant impact on the mental health of people as well as the way that the medical services are helping those people.

Blood clots are an often difficult to diagnose condition that can be fatal. In this episode we hear from a patient who had a DVT, explore the causes, diagnosis and treatment for blood clots and the importance of recognizing the symptoms of a blood clot.
