My name is Maris: connector, activist, speaker. Moved from West Palm Florida to Nashville, originally from New Jersey. I came to find people like me: people who wanted to influence the world and create change. Music brought me here but I soon learned that I would be a part of many other things. Since moving to Nashville in 2013, I have found a passion for kickboxing and I still teach others to find a love for moving their body at HOTBOX Fitness here in Nashville. Throughout my career in Nashville I also found a strong will to help the fight for saving the planet and with the help of friends Jess and Michael, we started a group called Zero Waste Trash Talk that later evolved into a podcast. Last year Lululemon asked me to become a brand ambassador to help share their message of love and inclusivity as well as sustainability and building a stronger community through movement and taking care of our bodies. There is so much good we can do in the world and I believe hearing one another and working together is going to bring us the real gold. Thanks for the opportunity to speak with you all on these topics!

Brandon Jones Also known as B.Jonez and/or BeastMode B Dot is an recording artist from Nashville Tennessee. Born in Fort Campbell Kentucky, where his mother & father were stationed at, they would later migrate to Nashville after his brother Chris was born , settling into the Hermitage area for most of his early childhood. It was during this period throughout the 90s where he would develop an ear for music and learn about different aspects of life. With his mother being from Chicago and his father being from a rural area close to Lynchburg Virginia, he saw different sides of life early on. He took an early liking to music through his parents musical tastes. While his mother was more into the R&B of that era like , SWV, Jodeci, and TLC his father was into the hip hop of the time like , 2Pac, Biggie, snoop dogg ,Nas, and Warren G just to name a few. He honed his rhyming skills all throughout middle school and high school constantly writing songs and studying past and present greats of the hip hop genre. Some of his personal favorites were LL Cool J , Big Daddy Kane and KRS-1 of the 1980’s, 2Pac, Snoop and Biggie of the 1990’s and Jay-Z, Lil Wayne and TI were some favorites during the 2000s which at the time of his adolescence was the present. Although he had personal favorites he was a fan of mostly every hip hop artist of every era and studied the genre in it’s entirety from its inception. Around 2006 B.Jonez along with a few neighborhood and high school friends started a crew known as NGM Squad or Niggas Gettin Money which later progressed to other meanings with the best fit being New Generation of Music. In 2010 they released their first collective project entitled “Live From The 615” that featured two Members out of the Wu Tang sized NGM Squad, Silverstone , who now goes by OG Foxx, and C.Styles who now goes by Jay Ville. Since that group project ,B.Jonez has gone on to release a few solo mixtapes, “Respect It or Accept It”, “The Rapaholic “, which was a freestyle mixtape, and he’s also worked with other artist on collaboration projects such as “Respect The SmokeSkreen” a 10 track collaboration album featuring fellow artist Top Prospekt and “TENN” another 10 track Collaboration project featuring fellow artists Top Prospekt and EGO Live. He recently became apart of an independent label in Chicago known as Project Born Elite Mind Records. With a solid team behind him he’s working on delivering his forthcoming project which he says will be very soulful.

Elijah Buras is a rapper and producer going by the stage name “Bleaux,” which derives from his middle
name, Bleau. (It was intended to be spelled like “blue” in French, but his parents mistakenly left out the
“x” at the end. For his persona, Buras simply added the “x.”)
Born and raised in Englewood, TN, Buras grew up listening to “classic” rock like John Mellencamp or
AC/DC before discovering rap music in the 5
th grade. He would eventually become fixated on DJ music
and EDM, learning to use beat-making programs like FL Studio in High school, and beginning to freestyle
in college. He released his earliest material on SoundCloud, although in 2019 he compiled his favorite
beats of this era for the album Intergalactic Ghost Federation, an archival of instrumentals arranged in a
way that Bleaux imagined as the soundtrack for a video game.
His creative drive and technical skills would further blossom from participating in “beat battles,”
monthly events that he would attend (and competitively lose) for a year straight before finally winning.
He would meet several different musicians and producers in the process — including those at the
Upstate Sound, the label that has published some of his latest work.
In 2020, his EP Aggro was his first complete feature of his rap vocals, which included occasional
screaming for edgier pieces such as the single “Face Lift.” A music video for this song would drop around
the same time.
As for other projects, Buras has also begun to work on his own merch line (producing specialized
hoodies, shirts, and hats) and has also begun work as a teacher of production techniques in FL Studio.
His newest album, Grasshopper, will release on May 28
th, 2021. Its first single, “Heavy,” dropped on April

As a talented entertainer and student of music I am on a mission to reach the masses and enlighten the souls of people with lyrical eloquence and substance creating timeless music that is positive, true, and elevates the spirit.
I released my debut promo CD, entitled “All the Above” in 2011 gaining dedicated listeners in several cities after my 2008 appearance on American Idol. My time on Idol led to many opportunities including opening for Ledisi in 2013 after winning a local musical contest.
I have graced audiences all over the country with my unique blend of R&B, jazz, funk, hip-hop, and blues.
Hailing from the north side of Nashville Tennessee, I draw from her culture to enhance my R&B sound influenced by artists like Aretha Franklin, James Brown, Ella Fitzgerald, Mini Ripenton, Nina Simone, Chaka Khan and Donny Hathaway.
I am currently setting up a digital project release to promote my new single “BNA | Black National Anthem.” A project dedicated to spreading knowledge about Kwanzaa.

21 y/o recording artist Ej The Maker is taking the music industry by storm, as he releases and performs ground-breaking music that has introduced a new sound that he calls “Rage” to the city of Nashville, and soon the whole world. Ej demands attention by doing consistent packed-out shows, creating mosh-pits that allow audiences to rage with him. He is known for bringing unforgettable energy to the crowds of Nashville, and in doing so, The Maker rightfully claims his title as “Nashville’s Top Rage Lord”. It wasn’t long before his numbers started accumulating thousands of streams, with his “Major Rager” EP alone reaching 60k streams in only 2 months. Ej’s uniquely deep, gritty voice blends well with his alliteration-heavy lyrical prowess, and you’ll often find Ej on dark, bass-heavy tracks that embody a mean, destructive sound. While Ej has mastered the sound of pure Rage, he doesn’t stop there. His lyrical ability and stage presence allows him to dominate any setting you put him in, so it’s no wonder his fan base is so strong, making it easy for him to pack out any venue.

While there he studied under fantastic engineers is such a Scott Velazco, who worked with artists such as Lee Brice and Brett Eldredge; and Aaron Swihart, a two time Grammy award-winning engineer. After graduating at age 21, he moved to Nashville to open 615 Recording Studio. Since moving to Nashville, he has worked with several artists as a studio engineer. In 2015, one song recorded at 615 Recording Studio made its way to the Nashville Songwriting Associations (NSAI) top 40 for 3 consecutive months. In 2017, a song that had work done at 615 Recording Studio ended up with three multi platinum selling artists on it. To his surprise, within 24 hours of that song dropping, it reached #3 on the iTunes ‘Hot Tracks’ chart. After several years of hard work helping artists create the music they envisioned, 615 Recording Studio has managed to keep a perfect five star rating on both Google and Facebook. The passion of helping artists create the song that they could have only imagined is evident in every release that comes out of 615 Recording Studio.

“What’s poppin?”
“Don’t mind me, just watchin”
If you’ve been on TikTok or Instagram lately, you’ve probably heard these phrases - quite possibly in more than one video. And they originated from one of Biddl3’s many viral TikTok remixes.
Biddl3 is a hip-hop artist from Milwaukee, WI that has experienced an unprecedented amount of success on the widely popular social media app, TikTok. Under the username @Biddl3Music he grew his account from roughly 2,000 followers to over 1 million in just 6 weeks by posting remixes to songs such as “Mood Swings”, “What’s Poppin”, and “Be Happy”, to name a few.
The growth hasn’t been limited to one platform. In this time, Biddl3 has managed to gain over 26,000 new subscribers on his YouTube channel and Instagram account respectively. With this much larger audience, he’s been able to accumulate over 1 million streams in total across all of his songs.
Biddl3 describes himself as a melodic lyricist, pairing intricate and thought-provoking bars with catchy, effortless melodies. He focuses heavily on the relatability of his music, rapping about heartbreak, chasing dreams, mental health struggles, and everything in between. “I believe that God blesses us with gifts that we are to use to show love to others,” he says. “Mine happens to be making music.”
For the next 4-6 weeks, Biddl3 plans to release a new song each week. Paying close attention to which songs his audience gravitates towards, he will then put together a project centered around the themes of the most popular songs. Currently, there is no specific date for this project, but Biddl3 expects to release it by the end of the year.

Hailing from Nashville,TN, Lord Goldie, also known as Karizma (a monicher aptly coined for her charismatic stage presence), has been a creative, an artist and an iconoclast since birth. In a town that has historically turned its back on the hip hop community, Lord Goldie exists in an authentic space that fuses underground hip hop, soul, and rock. During her formative years, Goldie was equally as inspired by Linkin Park, Jimi Hendrix, and Nirvana as she was by Jay-Z, Tupac, Queen Latifah, and UGK. It is now no surprise that she is well-versed in cross-genre collaboration and marrying distinct sounds into a cohesive story. Lord Goldie has carved a niche in the greater Nashville area, thus enabling her to release meaningful content consistently. This multi-hyphenate raps, writes, produces, and manages, offering creative direction to up-and-coming independent artists like herself. She released her debut project, Built 2 Last, in 2014 and has only gained momentum since then. The following year, part one of her EP series ADHD (Another Dollar Hustlin Daily) was met with rave reviews. In 2017, Goldie dropped music videos for singles “Day By Day” and “Like I’m Broke” on YouTube. Later that year, she collaborated with eclectic Pop/R&B band, MUJA Music, to provide a dynamic live show unlike anything that’s been seen in Music City. Lord Goldie has graced the stages of many iconic Nashville staples, including The Mercy Lounge, The High Watt, The Back Corner, and City Winery. Her talents have even taken her to the New Orleans House of Blues, as well as the coveted SXSW and A3C festival stages. Her Trap Conscious EP was released in 2018, leading with the single, “Leanin.” 2019 was a transformative year for Lord Goldie as she continued to mesmerize crowds while performing alongside a live band. She released the hit singles “Risks,” “How Low,” and “When You Ready.” By the end of 2019, Goldie’s resonant Trap Conscious catapulted her to nominations for Best Rap Solo Artist, Best Urban Album, and Album of the Year at the Nashville Industry Music Awards. In 2020, Lord Goldie continues to push the needle forward in the Nashville hip-hop scene, while keeping her ear to the streets to elevate and support new talent. Keep up with her live show schedule on Instagram @LordGoldie615 and listen to Trap Conscious on all streaming platforms.

Hello, my name is Robert Fairley III, but my artist name is Rf3theartist. I’m a 22 year old African American artist born and raised in Nashville,TN. I’ve been drawing since age four , painting since I was in middle school, but started taking it seriously in high school. I graduated from high school in 2016 and completed 2 years of college at Watkins College of Art and then dropped out to pursue my art career. My reason for doing so was lack of support and wanting to be able to create my own art, on my own time, without anybody getting in the way of my dream or shutting down my ideas. My objective when I paint is to portray my vision, the underlining theme in my work is black culture, but not your average slavery and racial discrimination. I want to highlight the pop aspect of black culture, meaning using black celebrities in my work in the way I see them. I’m very inspired by Kehindé Wiley, I love how his floral and decorative backgrounds invade the space of his African American subjects. So in some of my pieces I’ve decided to put a little twist on that and instead of painting a whole background, I paint with oils on decorative fabrics. These fabric paintings are something that I’m doing for the moment, because I have so many more issues I want to work on that I’m interested in like the female rap culture ,hip hop/R&B, and the LGBTQ community.

Milwaukee native Christopher Thompson aka C.T. is a emcee & entrepreneur raised on the city's North and East side. C.T. was co-founder and part owner of 2035 Art & Media Studios, a creative arts studio in Milwaukee that offered a wide range of services to the general public and artists in the Milwaukee creative arts & music scene, including graphic arts services, website creation, recording studio, photography work and a wide range of other services. C.T. started to gain a serious interest in Hip Hop and began rapping in middle school but as far back as 4th grade, he realized he had an interest in the written word in all its forms. His interest in the written word spawned from experiences as a student at Hartford Avenue University Elementary on Milwaukee's eastside, located on the campus of UW-Milwaukee. It was there that C.T. met a teacher who would become highly influential in the young man's life and later on his art. C.T.'s love for writing began with a simple journal writing assignment given to the class. He quickly gained an interest in writing and began to write more than the required amount, writing poems & short stories. In these early writings, C.T. found a voice that he has continued to express through his music. Growing up, C.T.'s father was always a large influence on him, musically and as a person. By 8th grade, C.T. had already developed interest in Hip Hop music and the culture due to the influence of his father who opened the young man's eyes to a wide range of music, including Hip Hop. With a love for the written word already solidified, the transition into writing Hip Hop lyrics was relatively natural for the talented young man who spent years practicing his writing skills and developing his voice as a young artist. Both songs attached are from my 'From Auntie's Basement' EP entirely produced by Lean Beatz.

Hailing from Essex, the young singer-songwriter crafts her unique vintage-pop sound from her love for classic rock, pop and soul. Taking her cues from the silky production of acts like Lana del Rey, and incorporating elements of synth, indie and alternative – Elle Novella’s music is deeply inspired by household names like Kate Bush and Fleetwood Mac.
Following the release of her debut single ‘Shake Me’, Elle has already received BBC Essex airplay and was featured on talkRADIO where she performed live and was interviewed by host Bob Mills. She has played as a guest act for Open Mic UK and her debut single was also added to Liberty London’s in-store playlist. Elle Novella returns bigger and better than ever with the release of ‘Poison’, dropping May 15th.
Elle recorded her debut EP 'Visions' with rising producer Anthony Trueman and engineer Felix Davis (Lana Del Rey, Youngr). An English Literature graduate, Elle has always had an interest in art and storytelling. This is visible through her unique and poetic lyrics. Elle changes identities and narrative point of view with every song. As a writer she masters the craft of shedding her own ego, diving into the soul of another person and experiencing the world from that point of view.

Jabari "Brve" Burton, artist from Milwaukee, WI, Began producing music in high school for friends. Brve would later go on to shoot/direct/edit music videos and content for other local artists before deciding on focusing on his own career in 2014. After moving to St.Louis, MO, Brve began to record and produce his own music to release to the general public. Fast Forward to 2020 and he has over 40 songs completed and released since 2017, including 3 EPs and 2 Full length Instrumental albums. Brve continues to pound out most of his work on his own, displaying a sort of grind yet to be seen by just ONE individual. Just recently he shot and edited another production of his own, displaying that this artist can indeed go from making the beat, all the way to finishing post production of his own music video. Brve can not simply be labeled a rapper, he is the full package and then whatever else you need him to be. You honestly get what you pay for with the artist BRVE , and what you pay for is EVERYTHING.

Genesis Renji is an Emmy nominated hip-hop artist based out of Milwaukee, WI. Born in Bethesda, MD, Renji started rapping at 12 years old after his cousin Pierre introduced him to rap music. Freestyles with his brothers and cousin was something he did to fit in. This search for acceptance turned into a passion for performances in middle school and later, spoken word slams in high school. After seeing Lupe Fiasco’s “Kick, Push” video, Renji started actively writing and recording himself. Some of his other early influences were Chamillionaire, Lil’ Wayne, and Eminem. As his interests grew and musical taste expanded, so did his sonic palette. Having a creative signature of penning vivid stories like Kendrick Lamar and pairing them with catchy, vibrant hooks like Childish Gambino helped translate into memorable music and performances from the Milwaukee emcee. From opening for hip-hop legends Jean Grae, Pharoahe Monch, and Skyzoo to creating intimate show releases with cereal bars, Renji’s performances are monumentally unforgettable. Shows like these have led to his highlight performance for Aminé in front of 7,000 festival goers at Summerfest in 2018, and a sold out Milwaukee Bucks halftime performance for a crowd of 17,341. Since 2011, Renji has released a consistent and heavy flow of singles, EPs, and albums. In 2018, Renji released his LUCID EP, the Gemini Season series featuring 31 songs for 31 days straight, as well as his critically acclaimed S.I.N.S: Stories I Never Shared album that garnered positive reviews and his fastest success from a release. Along with his heavy catalog and work ethic Renji is engineering for independent artists, most notably Chicago emcee Gerald Walker of Stalley’s Blue Collar Gang, and leading the front running his label House Of Renji which hosts artists Emmitt James, Jayne Joyce, Maal Himself, and producer Gldn Child.

SunQueen Kelcey has three things at the center of her music: body positivity, self love, and sexual liberation. These are more than ingredients to her lyrics, they are her soul; and she has such a strong calling to these tenets that watching her at the mic is more than a concert. Her musical style is a genre-bending collage of hip-hop, soul, rock, and contemporary R&B, call it soul-rock. She is the center of a universal sound that aims to unite her listeners over a shared experience. On her new single “Around” now available on all streaming platforms - she uses sultry, intimate lyrics like, “You might think you’ve been around, been around the world before but baby it’s my turn to make your world go ‘round;” to put a spell on her listeners. That magic is only enhanced by a heavy bass line that is dripping with sensuality, dreamy tones on the piano and clean drum hits to make your heart stop. Kelcey grew up in a small North Carolina town called Southern Pines, absorbing a broad range of music from Mary J Blige, Nina Simone, and Boyz II Men to Joan Jett and Alanis Morissette. In middle school she joined the choral ensemble and quickly fell in love with classical music, which influences her vocal arrangements to this day. A series of traumatic events when she was 13 affected her greatly. Kelcey’s father died and the family’s house burned down, destroying her first guitar, and deterring her from her goals. She has overcome a series of obstacles to get to where she is now, rising above loss and personal setbacks to find her own voice and pursue her artistic dreams. She began her performance career with Dalton Village, a group that blended R&B and rap. As their lead vocalist, she gained experience performing live, but after the band broke up she was launched on a solo career. She decided to create a backing band for her music with the former guitarist of Dalton Village, Kolin Robinson, and called it SunQueen and the Soular Flares. The band has two guitarists (Malcom Dickens & Kolin Robinson), a bassist (Darion Jones), keyboardist/trombone player (Tyrissa Swilley) and drummer (Jamese Moses). Every member is multi-talented, either bringing other instruments into the mix or by adding to the group through graphic design. The band grooves and together they add flare to the original lyrics created by Kelcey and accomplish dynamic covers. “I just like to empower people to love themselves and their beautiful bodies, especially, women- identifying people. And of course, I stay promoting body positivity, radical self-love and sexual liberation for all” Kelcey says. Her commitment to empowerment is what helped Kelcey sign a record deal with indie label, Smart Mouth Records LLC based in Durham, NC. Kelcey is set to release her first album with the label in 2020. She is devoted to improving the space she is in, from organizing group events, to lending her talents to her countless friends. She is a rock star and a hometown hero.
