After a year of lethargy, SD Records returns with a tremendous EP signed by Ludowick. One of the most beloved remixers of the family finally deserved a solo EP, and the occasion has arrived in the SD 30th release.Always Dreaming becomes one of the high points of Luis' career, of which we still don't know its peak. The EP is made up of 3 songs simmered for 5 years, and although they represent 3 different moods, the common denominator is the dancefloor.Always Dreaming creates a minimalist and dreamlike atmosphere thanks to the dub dyes of the house, accompanied by a tech-house rhythm with sounds of the mythical 909.
Club Rhythms Vol. 2 is a 5 track collaborative E.P inspired by the renewed energy of being out on the dance-floor, a year on from nightclubs reopening after lockdown. With high energy breaks, percussive workouts and weighty subs underpinned by sampling, melody and groove. The tracks explore a range of influences from Middle Eastern Music to Hardcore, Jazz and Dub with a nod to futurism and science fiction. Featuring label co-owner and visual artist D. Topian alongside D.D. Goose, Dyslecta & Seth Goggin.

Gimme A Break Records are incredibly proud to announce their ‘Solidarity With Ukraine’ compilation. Spanning across the genres of breakbeat, UK garage, electro, techno, trance, dubstep and jungle our fundraiser V.A. features 18 incredible producers from across the globe.
Including: AK SPORTS, An Avrin, Buckley, Disaffected, Groovy D, Harka, jadzia, Justin Jay, Kitsta, Nikki Nair, Nova Cheq, Portway, Robin Tasi & Bae Blade, Sha Ru, Shauna, Shawn Cartier and TROPHY Following our discussions with Beth Alana and Nova Cheq we have decided to donate all proceeds from the compilation to the K41 Community Fund.
This is a project initiated by the team at the Kyiv based cultural institution ∄ with the aim to provide financial, humanitarian and logistical support to the musical and cultural community that has been facing life-threatening challenges since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Espree is an up and coming bass music DJ/Producer hailing from the infamous Bristol, who’s drive within the club scene has been getting attention from record labels throughout the UK due to his fresh and versatile style with an eclectic twist fused into his productions.
With a Mixmag feature and multiple radio appearances, he’s catching the attention of some heavyweight artists in the scene such as: Skepsis, Shift K3Y & Sammy Virji as well as KISS FM radio presenters Charlie Tee & Billy Da Kid.
His latest productions have been energetic and powerful with tasteful underground twists. He is currently working on a huge amount of new original material while still finding the time to handpick tracks to remix into a whole new vibe of his own. After being picked up for a '100% Production Mix' on the legendary Rinse FM, Espree has began to also catch the eye of a few other major-player record labels. Judging by the amount of unreleased music that he has stacking up, it seems that he has no intention of doing anything other than working full force to imprint his name on the scene and will no doubt be pushing into the upcoming underground artists roster; an artist not to be underestimated.
Alicia Keys is one of the undisputed queens of contemporary R&B. Powerful vocals, earnest lyrics and a deep self-awareness are the main pillars that have held up her career. But what happens when you fuse ballads with basslines? For this vinyl-only co-release on Bristol imprints Eminent and Slippery Sounds, Knoxville’s Nikki Nair stands at the intersection between new and old and redefines exactly how to nail the bootleg edit.
‘If I Ain't Got You’ is a precise flurry of two-step garage and nostalgic vocals, Alicia’s lilting voice still recognisable despite the dancefloor environment. A glossy rhythm breathes life into the old classic so that it becomes a new entity, which somehow welds together the murky rave realm with the weightlessness of Summer. It’s rare for tracks to suit any given setting, but this one might just be a strong contender.
‘Show Me Love’ takes a more starry-eyed course, weaving dewy textures into a fresh whimsical appeal. There’s still a subtle nod to the past despite the more recent Alicia/Miguel sample, which comes in the form of the 2010’s grime era melodies and nostalgic soundscapes. The breakdown around the halfway mark is a particular treat; it hoists up the vocals in reverence before the first of two ice-cold, dubby drops.
They say that if you’re paying homage to one of the greats, you’ve got to do it right. But Nikki Nair goes above and beyond that into a captivating alternate reality where the rush the second time round is just as good. These bootlegs are instant classics in themselves.
1/2 of ROADKILL, 4TGANG supplies a soulfully executed dance track with the signature deep piano, blended with breaks and a tasty bass line.

Gimme A Break Records is honoured to present “Red Handed”, the first collaborative EP from label regulars Papa Nugs and Phasmid. Featuring everything from gritty wobblers and chunky breaks to acid arps and outrageous amens, this collection of five tracks is bound to send any crowd into hysterics. Alongside two individual productions and the co-produced title track, this EP offers up two undeniably rude remixes of the gents’ tracks from GAB’s first vinyl release.
Both Papa Nugs and Phasmid have been making serious waves in the UKG and Breaks scenes of Leeds and London. Nugs has crafted an extremely unique production style as epitomised through his Milk and Beans EP for Ba Dum Tish. Similarly, Phasmid has consistently delivered furious basslines and crisp breakbeat concoctions for a number of labels, including his very own Taipan Trax. Having collaborated previously as part of 128kbps, as well as playing b2b at PLURPROJECT, Papa Nugs & Phasmid display a devilishly playful musical chemistry across “Red Handed.”
Enver is a DJ and producer based in Bristol, whose work ranges in style from enthralling, 2-step garage bits to hard-hitting drum & bass. "Sans" is one of 8 upcoming tracks on NC-based record label Maison Fauna's upcoming compilation, Unrivaled Groove. Out Friday, the 13th of August.
An Avrin brings his signature style to the Eminent free download series with 'Skwam'. Fusing huge breaks with big basslines and choppy vocals, this one really does lift you off your feet.
We’ve been hibernating, it's been a couple rough years…
Are you feeling electric?
As the Euros build momentum, we’re delighted to be following up on our label’s underground World Cup hit from 3 years ago, with another belter from the larger-loving icon that is Cindys Pearl. Think summer euphoria, cold fizzy lager running through your veins, Joy Division, acid house, community, football….and you might have built some vague imagination of what you’re about to hear…EUROPHORIA!

“FF001: Troubleshoot The Moon” marks the debut release on Meanjin (Brisbane) based Foreign Frequencies, a label dedicated to highlighting versatile sounds from artists both close to home and afar.
Bristol based Litherland opens up the first Foreign Frequencies’ release with a lush but equally hard hitting jungle mover. Contrasting between calming synths and heavy electro infused breaks, the track moves naturally to moments of euphoria before bringing us back with some heavy and powerful percussion.
The Motoring records engine is fired up again with their second release of 2021. Elliot Saloman’s I Still Want features remixes from a duo in high demand Cortese and a debut for Coventry’s Mercia. The release offers 3 emotional club cuts which champion a fresh twist of deep leftfield house and breaks, tinged with UK influence, soaring atmospheres and emotive textures. The single represents an oscillation of the Motoring sound but demonstrates the broad sonic palette of the label, while honouring its ethos of celebrating combinations of components of the deeper side of electronic music.
Gimme A Break Records presents Donsurf’s ‘BREAKWAVE EP’ featuring three expertly crafted productions. Donsurf took the scene by storm through his widely received debut release on ec2a in collaboration with Bakey. Following this, Donsurf has continued to deliver experimental breakbeat and UK garage compositions as seen through single releases on Gimme A Break and Kultura Collective.
In his ‘BREAKWAVE EP’ Donsurf divulges the breadth of his musical influences some of which include dubstep, breakbeat and jungle. The deliberately smooth transitions between tracks makes for a seamless journey through UK bass culture, grounded fundamentally through Donsurf’s intricate manipulation and sculpting of classic breaks with a personal twist.
Following on from his hard hitting track 'Eat 'Em Up' which is now available on the Eminent free download series, Celestial Being comes through with an hour of high energy blends to get you through the week and ready for the weekend!
The sound wizard that is Celestial Being comes in hot and heavy with a punchy stepper layered with Giggs vocal chops, resulting in a dancefloor ready slammer to get the party going.
Dean Banks kicks off the SYN12 Free Download series
Specially designed to transport you to the rattliest of warehouse parties, ‘Doing me’ takes you to a place that feels like a distant memory. Nostalgic pads and precise percussion carry the track, punctuated by bone shaking kick drums.
After kicking off the Eminent free download series with his track 'Wazzup', Longeez steps up to the mix series to deliver half an hour of of his own heavy hitting productions.
Already carving out a name for himself with his own signature take on garage, breaks and big basslines, this mix is not one to be missed!
Husky is a talented musician and artist based in Brighton. He’s got an incredible sense of aesthetic, and paints a wonderful universe with his music and graphics. The track ‘Upfront’ featured in our EP is a homage to a more classic UKG sound, but is littered with his own dystopian flair that he brings to all his productions.
Profits made from this EP will be donated to Manchester Women’s Aid, a charity that provides emergency temporary housing for single women and women with children who are freeing themselves from domestic violence and abuse.

ANY BPM Vol.1 is a various artists compilation curated by Bristol collective and label excess, with all proceeds to be donated in support of the Music Venue Trust’s #saveourvenues campaign - a charity providing aid to the UK’s most vulnerable live music venues. Over 15 tracks, the project showcases a diverse range of underground dance music, featuring artists both established and unsigned from Bristol and beyond.
Up and coming garage DJ & Producer Longeez kicks off ANY BPM on “All Da Clubs”, a fitting ode to nightlife in the UK, as the familiar sounds of a nightclub entrance build into a thumping old school garage beat propelled by a stabby piano groove and sub heavy kick. Daffy keeps the garage vibe running with the infectious “Sun Kissed”, layering slick bass riffs with vibrant strings fit to match any mid-summer day party. Larus takes over for track 3 with his debut “No Game”, a steppy, melancholic outing featuring rolling drum patterns entwined with lush keys and a soulful vocal sample. Making a departure from his usual breakbeat heavy sound, PanicMan brings a tight 4x4 workout on “Let’s ‘Ave It Right”, with rattling percussion filling out the high end, while a boisterous vocal proclaims ‘we already run the streets out here’. RAPH’s “That’s Some Pressure” delivers a dose of classic electro to the record, laying down mechanised staccato drums topped with a pulsing sequenced bass.
Fresh from a run of EPs on Slippery Sounds, Brighton producer Equus ups the intensity with acid-techno tearout “Nosebleed”, giving centre stage to a mesmerising synth hook that reverberates throughout the whole track. Track 7 brings the warped productions of An Avrin to the album on oddball banger “WHAT U GOT?” as gurgling, screaming synths dance over choppy amens and heavy 808’s.
Grace switches up the energy at the halfway point with “Baby”, a gloomy, emotional 140 anthem in keeping with the Bristol based producer’s signature sound. Sydney’s Mincy continues the 140 shakedown with the deep, spacious “Hektoplasm” folding lush, wide pads over beating percussion and a hazy vocal. Fellow Australian Ape Suit follows up with the dreamy “Ok, Yeah” with bright, melodic bells set against a selection of powered-up bass sounds.
The BPM shifts upwards on DROMEK’s “Meddley” - a frantic footwork jam, littered with intricate percs playing off a pitched sample that flits between half and double time grooves. The energy doesn’t falter as Goldefish blends breaks wizardry, Indian acid and rumbling detuned basslines for “Sad Horse Raga”, an expertly crafted slice of modern jungle pressure, absolutely crying out for a system to be played on.
Moving into darker territory at the end of the album, Borai’s breakbeat slugger “Caterpillar” provides murky atmosphere, brooding pads and throbbing bass while Brighton’s ETCH flexes his break chopping abilities as he unleashes a barrage of drums and sub hits with stripped back jungle cut “The Tone of Regret” - these tracks showcase the skills of two of the most exciting producers in the UK underground right now. TROPHY rounds out the record, with the Leeds producer and TRAX HAVEN alumnus delivering possibly the switch-up of the year (just wait) on “We Got” - a swaggering halftime rhythm that shows off low-slung, punchy drums and a well-executed wobbling bassline.

Altered State Is an 8 track collaborative VA which reflects on a year that has changed all of our lives in many ways. After months of lockdown away from nightclubs we began to sense that dance music lacked context and became more nostalgic. As producers we were drawn to slower tempo’s and we wanted to conceptualise these feelings of disillusionment onto a record that would be released as lockdown eased and life returned to ‘’normal’’. The E.P is designed to introduce us back into the clubbing state of mind with downtempo tracks that are melancholic, experimental and up-lifting. Tracks which will ease you into a night out and warm up the cold abandoned dance-floors.

Bristol based Longeez delivers the first instalment of the Eminent free download series. The 1020 resident, with releases on the likes of Canape Records, delivers a stripped back UKG track with a nod to the first wave of 90s garage that shaped the resurgence of the modern 2-step sound as we know it.

Gimme A Break Records presents Oldboy’s 'The Box EP', featuring three expertly crafted UK Garage productions. Following his debut release, 'The Guv’nor EP', on Noire State, Oldboy continues to deliver future dancefloor classics founded upon crispy two-step rhythms and squelching basslines. Through his string of releases on Fly By Night Recordings, Outhouse Sounds, Ratface Records, Reloaded Sounds, Da Demolition Squad and Algo:Riddims, Oldboy has become renowned for his playful sampling. The EP’s title-track showcases Oldboy’s filmographic inspirations and whilst ‘Strict Service’ offers a more laidback groover, 'Mantis' supplies a rough and ready crunch to round off the EP. Big up to Oldboy himself for conjuring up this nostalgic cover design.

Club Unique proudly presents a showcase of Ōtautahi underground dance music talent with a new VA release. CU008 is our biggest release to date, and is packed with aural delights ranging from introspective house joints, to atmospheric 140 territory.
CU founders Keanu Raves & Malware Md set the scene with a moody lo-fi house groove which segues into a feelgood synthwave nostalgia trip. Off the back of his debut vinyl release for new Pōneke imprint Rays Records, Patella takes over with a tasteful minimal-tech groove peppered with Rhodes melodies and acid tinges.
Next up it’s Harvo, returning to CU with his solo debut for the label, Faceless. This spellbinding production conjures up waves of euphoria with its hypnotic rolling bassline and pensive synth pads...
We awake in unfamiliar territory... best radio for reinforcements. The breakout dub commander Anima has our back, deploying a tight network of bass hooks to guide us through ominous atmospheres and stealthy percussive traps!
Continuing our agenda, we feature a pair of handcrafted B2B hardware jams. On Scripter, Toronja coaches raw drums and warped vocals through an aerobic workout of acid patterns. Meanwhile, groove engineering duo Toyota move ever closer to cyberpunk style hardware integration, welding together organic and artificial textures on Machine Mentality.
Closing out the release is the enigmatic talent Rosetown with his relentless rave epic, Trouble in Babylon. This masterful orchestration is the perfect soundtrack for both the end of the night, and the end of civilisation as we know it. Use it wisely!

After the fantastic reception of Equus’ ‘REHD’ EP, seven artists have each selected a track from the release, resulting in five different but wholly dance floor ready remixes.
LUXE cements her ‘one-to-watch’ status with her undeniably party starting ‘Big Gurl’ remix of ‘Inbetween the Eyes’. Firmly making a name for herself in Manchester and beyond, in both production and DJing, this remix takes you through a trancey-house journey of euphoric vocals and slowly builds into a hard hitting, squelchy four-to-the-floor acid crescendo!

Alfredo Cabrerizo, aka Alfred Adler, aka JKBX returns to Sonidos Distintos after seven years from the launching of More & More (SD007). Our second release of the 2020 and it's five tracks of warmth, depth and party-starting realness from the land of the Danes.
'Ari' is the house and techno alias of the Copenhagen producer and DJ known as Fat Pony. This year he has a few releases primed under both aliases - firstly as 'Ari' with us (No Guestlist 2 Nite - 0G2N), with Fat Pony numbers on MOAG and SVR.
For this EP first up we have 'The Island', a mysterious bounce-inducing roller in the vein of Solomun if he was into 60s B-movies. Next up we have 'Lost' - a deeper more optimistic cut than the title suggests, all warm pads and arps reminiscient of Daniel Wang. The soundtrack of a Danish flaneur in summertime Tokyo perhaps?
On the flipside 'Ari' enlists Danish producer 'Lundberg'. From the rhythm riding fire of 'Forget It' to the edgy stabs of Copenhagen at 3am on 'Danish Bounce', the EP closes out with 'Hound' a late night tech-edged house belter.
5 hot hits. Fill yer boots.
PATA’s follow up to the Manifesta EP titled, “Vamos," Two tracks of absolutely slapping old school dubstep.

PanicMan joins the Omerta family with his debut EP ‘Air Traffic Controller’, a five track journey of provocative, rolling basslines, uncompromising breaks and gritty percussion conceived in the modern lights of Seoul’s highrise cityscape.
Futuristic nostalgia is the order of the day with PanicMan delivering a highly refined example of what can be achieved within the realm of modern jungle and breakbeat, while demonstrating a keen understanding of the lineage of dancefloor focused breaks, footwork and body-moving bass.
Pure, polished and electrically executed, this is a debut that’s not to be missed and one that fits perfectly within the cross-genre explorations that we’re becoming more and more expectant to hear.

Following their live performances at the latest two Dimension Festival Editions and vinyl releases on international labels such as Slices of a dog, Money Sex, Odd socks and Sorry For This featuring a remix by none other than mr. Marcellus Pittman, Nas1 are finally back on Bosconi Extra Virgin with a new album titled Polaris Time.
It’s a multi colored sonic adventure, moving from their hip hop and detroit house roots to a new palette of sounds including afro percussions and fresher synth lines blended together into a unique electronic soundscape that creates exotic, psychedelic atmospheres and unconventional, raw midtempo dance-floor tracks.
The Album begins with the enchanting ballad of “L’ isola di Serie B” , moving deeper with the spaced out vibe of Domino Skii , landing on the more tropical and frivolous scenarios of “Cicci Briucci” and on the laid-back interlude of “Il Sangue Non Serve A Niente”.
In the beginning of the flip side appears instead the jazzy and uplifting first cut named “Frigo Deca”, followed by the freaky jam of “Come Thru” and the adventurous balearic tune “Hector Savage” ending with the ethereal closing skit “Il Sangue Non Serve A Niente (outro)"
Fans of Kyle Hall, Theo Parrish as well as John Talabot or Nicola Cruz are warned, absolutely not to be missed if you have been following Nas1 music so far.

Emma Larkov is a Helsinki-based visual artist who works mainly with text, sound and drawing. She often combines her poetry and soundscapes trying to create moods or capture them.
The feeling of emptiness just hit me like a city hangover, a surreal dream. Pour on me all the softness you have to break through my surface; a marble glass. I miss the cold season––to bathe underneath fluorescent lamps and grey. And those powder days (first snow, not cocaine).
City Hangover is a soundscape for/inspired by this poem.
Eddy Larkin celebrates their 20th release with four tracks of electro, breaks and bass on Rnbws' Wooden EP. We're pleased to present the devastating Inhale ahead of the full release next month.

Love & Danger in Paradise is an amalgamation of ZF's cultural fascinations. Inspired by likes of Vice City, Drive and Giorgio Moroder, for our annual themed compilation project, we sought out artists that create and craft neo-nostalgic sounds.
A retro musical direction drove the selection process, pulling tracks from italo-disco and indie dance genres. Each of the twelve hand-picked artists added a distinctive sonic uniqueness to the album. Cosmic, groovy and melodic club-ready works, all designed to timewarp the aural sense.
This curated collection musters up visions of midnight road trips, neon-lit city wanderings and dark disco discotheques, because in reality - what hath night to do with sleep?

‘Pulse 5’ invites listeners into a spinning pool of echoed-out bleeps scattered over a broken beat rhythm, cementing itself securely as a tool in the 130 bpm bass genre. With an extensinsive back story and the original sought after online for the past years, we’re thrilled to be approached to officially release this track, accompanied by 3 remixes from artists who have been pinging our radar off over the years with their movements.
Spektralsound strips and slows the track down to 120 bpm allowing frequencies more space to echo over the skeleton of big kicks and chuggy bass stabs. Keeping to the original tempo, Meta donates a techy 4x4 remix keeping the pace moving forward at all times whereas Hartta replicates the broken beat elements through a skippy 2-step garage style of sampling and arrangement. The release will be begging your local bass bins for every last decibel they have on tap.

We’re excited to announce the release of a very special V/A on Loose Lips, bringing together a range of artists from across the world who we’ve connected with throughout the last 6 years of our LL journey! The wide range of music chosen echoes our passion for unique music from all horizons. From raucous soundsystem music of many forms through to pertinent poetry, crazy industrial experiments, chilling ambience and eccentric breakbeats.
Considering the vast amount of mad music on offer, we’ve split the V/A into two distinct volumes for you delve into: - Vol.I - dancefloor pumpers, wild beats, uptempo and typically harder vibes. You’ll soon find yourself pulling off the most daring dance moves you’ve seen for the whole of lockdown, with a smile stretching to your ears... - Vol.II - more heady, contemplative, leftfield leaning. Whilst still sometimes capable of making your limbs jiggle, this is an after-party soundtrack for weirdos!
A very special shout to Kozber, who has been working around the clock to deliver those slick sounding masters - facebook.com/siriustudio. As well as to Jasper Golding who has designed our beautiful artwork - instagram.com/jasper.golding.
Ruff Sqwad Arts Foundation 100% of profits from this Friday’s release will be donated to a very worthwhile cause, the Ruff Sqwad Arts Foundation - Grime pioneers Rapid and Slix (Prince Owusu-Agyekum and Ebenezer Ayerh) started this foundation in 2017 in order to help create opportunities for young people who have incredible talent but who are from a less advantaged background, thus potentially not having the chances to develop their skills to the fullest.
Having been inspired by the sounds that spawned from Ruff Sqwad, other Grime originals, and so many other resulting waves of UK music, it was so energising to find out more about this amazing work that has evolved from it.
They approach education and collaboration in an incredibly genuine and musically apt way - creating a bridge between grassroots ethics and industry ambition.

More music from both of those to come this year, starting with an album from Brandon out on the 6th of January, exploring themes surrounding nuclear devastation through unique takes on industrial/noise/ambience/acid/house/krautrock.

Mix #050 | @monika-taneska
Monika Taneska is a Bristol-based DJ who first got involved in the music scene whilst studying in Sheffield. The move to the city saw Monika step behind the decks for the first time just a couple of years ago and already she has found herself playing for the likes of Headroom, B L O O M, No Way Back and now Eminent.
Currently holding down a residency on Noods Radio, as well as preparing for the inaugural event of new Bristol night ‘Public Affair’, you’ll find Monika fully immersing herself in the UK underground whenever possible.

With an entry into dance music through Presha, Guildford, Connor aka 95Bones subsequently established and was at the helm of Presha Records.
In recent times he's seen two EPs and a VA feature on one of the most exciting labels around Scuffed Recordings. Add to this a release with plus ultra this year, a track on the latest mangoes and melons comp, in addition to releases with Eyeangle Records and Sample Delivery.
He describes his style of DJing as "an attempt to pull together disparate elements and vibes of US and UK dance music, I try to keep things fun and upbeat, while exploring different styles and vibes."
This month's 1020 Radio show with residents Yushh & Tramma hosting a tasty guest mix from Eddie Larkin head honcho, Jeanville.

Remotif is a Bristol based DJ and producer who has been making and releasing music for nearly a decade. His unique flavor of sample-infused leftfield house has been supported by artists as diverse as Tornado Wallace, Orpheu the Wizard, Tensnake, S.O.N.S, Bruce, DJ Python, Prins Thomas and many more.
He predominantly leans towards the deeper, more melodic side of the spectrum in his productions. But his DJ sets span everything from techno and disco, to synth-pop, Balearic and beyond, as regularly heard in his Super Eccentric Theatre show on Noods Radio, and gigs across the city.
2019 saw Remotif release his debut EP on Alfresco Disco, along with a follow up track on exciting new label COD3 QR. He now has plans to start self-releasing through a brand new label project commencing later this year, with a cachet of EPs ready to drop, followed by his debut LP in 2020.

Bristol based Londoner Hannd (aka Han Dopkins) first discovered the world of electronic music at the age of 13 with the early Dubstep era, finding a love for new and exciting underground dance music. Following that passion throughout his youth when learning how to produce/write music and soon enough discover the art of DJ'ing.
His love for music has progressed and continued with a determination to explore genres in an open-minded and adventurous manner, fusing styles of music in his productions to see what can be created without following any set path. His EP on Raw Paper Records entitled u'4u, welcomed a step away from his Disco and House oriented Han Dopkins alias, and saw a darker and more emotive response to the underground dance music scene.
Since then he has gone on to form his own record label, Comma Traxx. A label which follows a similar dynamic to Hannd's music mentality, to think outside the box and explore the music we already know and take it further.
Zone Focus is a magazine/label committed to promoting the leftfield and alternative dance music scene. In this particular selection @SeanDelahay was looking to revisit his origins in techno and generally where electronic music began for the Bristol based producer and DJ. His style as of late has orientated more towards the funkier, melodic side of house and techno with a hint of Ital and a splash of Scandinavian which can still be heard throughout this rolling mix. Looking to diversify his name and present a wider orientation of music to his crowds this mix is an exploration into a darker much harder side of Delahay’s collection.
Merry Christmas everyone, here's the 43rd instalment of the Eminent Mix Series.
Berlin and Amsterdam based Horsemen (https://soundcloud.com/horsemen_music) continue to push boundaries, showing off their knowledge of the UK's broken beat techno scene and why they are one of the most exciting duos to come out of Europe this year.

Transistor Rhythms is the brand new alias from Pete Gizauskas.
2018 saw the release of ‘One Way Traffic,’ a collaboration with good friend Robots With No Soul. Finding it’s way onto Dense & Pika's imprint Kneaded Pains, the track was premiered on Radio 1 by non other than Bristol legend Eats Everything and led to Transistor Rhythms performing at the world famous Watergate night club in Berlin.
We're glad to welcome him aboard with 42nd instalment of the Eminent mix series.

We first met Berlin based Tash Todd aka Bakläxa one sunny afternoon in Bristol. A fellow resident on Noods we instantly hit it off and are really happy to welcome her for the 41st edition of our mix series.
She desribes herself as a 'UK bass and rhythm fanatic playing a mix of broken beat, future grime and afro beat.' As mentioned she's a monthly resident at Bristol's independent radio station, Noods Radio with her 'Feels' show every 2nd Thursday of the month midnight - 2am GMT.

Up next in our guest mix series, we have Bristol's Mulengasound.
Clocking in at just over an hour, this mix is a veritable tour-de-force of underground electronic music and features no fewer than 30 tracks from the likes of Djrum, Ikonika, Hodge and Pangea, to name just a few.
It also contains several tracks from the Mulengasound boys themselves which have been getting support from Dusk and Blackdown on RinseFM. It's safe to say that these boys are definitely one to keep our eyes on.
Celebrate International Women's Day with this killer mix from Eminent's Yushh, featuring tracks from Cloudface, Morphology and Djrum 💥
For the latest edition of the Eminent mix series, Ray Kandinski steps up to the plates. Identified as one to watch this year by Mixmag for his “great promise in the furrowed and dreamy arrangements of his unobtrusive style of house”, the Berlin based producer and DJ has gone from strength to strength with releases on E-Beamz and Isaiah Tapes and has proven that he is full of surprises in terms of his offering of fresh music.
His latest collaborative release ‘Project Chicago’ with Karl Lumont is a fine example of this and highlights the inspiration he takes from the origins of the mid 90s melodic Jungle and Drum and Bass movement. It’s safe to say that he is an Eminent favourite and it’s an honour to be able to present this mix to you all. Enjoy!
