Our God is more than able and willing to accomplish great things in and through us - according to how hungry we are for His presence, how much room we allow for Holy Spirit infilling and according to our willingness to continually align and submit to the directives and timing of the Holy Spirit within us. That explains much and promises much.

The potential of an army of spirit-empowered saints hearing the heart and will of God for their daily lives, has immeasurable potential. That had been a mystery during Old Testament times, but now has been revealed to us, for us, for these times.
Something occurs when saints of God make room for the Holy Spirit baptism to come upon us and into us. A door of access and authority in God opens and we become His light in this world. And things change. And it is that time...

Till He comes and rains righteousness on you.
The Holy Spirit week 01: 'that you may be filled with all the fullness of God'.
The Holy Spirit baptism of Jesus is for the saints of God in all days, especially these days of prophesied great exploits. It's no wonder a spiritual campaign against this truth is raging inside the church as well as outside. Meanwhile the creation groans for the revelation of the spirit-filled sons of God - and it is happening – because it is for us and for now. We look at what scripture tells us.
It will all make perfect supernatural sense when the plans of God are accomplished and evident, upon His glorious, violent, righteous and wonderful return. Do stay tuned. And meanwhile what manner of Holy Spirit filled and Holy Spirit engaged persons ought we to be, as God pours out His plans on earth for these days? This 11-week study of Ezekiel chapters 33-39 concludes with a dramatic prophetic account of what will take place.
Ezekiel 38:16 (NKJV) You will come up against My people Israel like a cloud, to cover the land. It will be in the latter days that I will bring you against My land, so that the nations may know Me, when I am hallowed in you, O Gog, before their eyes.” - The storyline of scripture reveals who decides what, and when, and where. Those who know the sovereign Lord are invited into the plans of heaven, even right now in these days of drama.
The Lord takes Ezekiel, and us, into a situation of complete impossibility, and then asks whether the dry bones can live, AND THEN directs the prophet to prophesy. This is clearly about the Land (Ezekiel 36) and the covenant people of God (Ezek 37) - even as God takes us into the challenging situations on earth now and forward, prior to His return. Great days indeed.
The prophetic plans and promises of God are anchored in God's covenant with Israel, and that will include a supernatural outpouring on both the Land and the People. The born-again and spirit-filled Church is purposed and called into the most challenging and supernatural days upcoming - for the glory of our great God.
The sobering prophecy against Edom/Esau/Mount Seir is representative of the judgment-jeopardy all nations will face who come against Israel, and who increasingly defy and boast against the Lord Almighty.
'...Then you shall know that I am the Lord' - Ezek 35:15
Ezekiel's prophecy, centered around His faithfulness, plans, and timing for all of His people (both Israel and His Church) progressively appear to be upon us. The world rages and shakes. Those with eyes to see and ears to hear are positioned and called to live, model and proclaim His redemptive purposes.
Line upon line and precept upon precept (Isaiah 28) is THE perfect plan for the King of the Universe to accomplish His mighty work in and through us. Our daily yes/no choice is to press in to discover that volatile and powerful ongoing revelation in our lives - either for our success and His glory, or our failure. A bunny trail in our Ezekiel study to biblically support, clarify, and also exemplify our understanding of the potential for the saints in these days. We say yes, Lord.
I'm convinced the timing of studying these chapters is truly divine, and that even the chapter sequence – from the watchman call (33), to the anointing and accountability of both leadership and followership (34), the judgment on the enemies of Israel (35), the promises and prophecies first to THE LAND (36) and then TO THE PEOPLE (35&36), and then how the Lord initiates the final conflict (37) and how and where it comes about (38) and the breakthrough understanding in both the people of God and the nations of the world (39) has to cause us to be in awe and wonder and appreciation of our position in God.
Twice in the past 2-3 decades I've been led to specifically teach these particular chapters. There's timely significance, again, now. Currently they are a hot topic in light of what's happening right now and will be happening in the future regarding times, troubles, purification of the saints for the purposes of heaven, and particularly in light of the SIGNIFICANCE OF ISRAEL and God's promises to Israel - the People as well as the Land. The significance of Israel will permeate this study because of the biblical revelation of God's faithfulness to the covenants He has made.
'Such A Time As This' has understandably become a popular phrase - referring most appropriately to the days both Jesus and the prophet Daniel declared would be the most dramatic times prior to the conclusion of this Age. An army of watchmen - awake, aware and attentive to the purposes of heaven - is being called to both proclaim the hope and also warn the world of the times in which we are living.
We begin a study of critical chapters revealed to Ezekiel during the Babylonian Captivity - that take us into revelations revealed to the world at the dramatic conclusion of this Age. They are written for the saints to equip us - right now - for ministry success in these shaking days.
THE LATTER DAYS: This third session addressing Replacement Theology looks to the days of the return of Messiah Jesus - when both His Jewish people, and the rest of the world, will finally understand the 'whys' of what has happened on earth in the way of the Lord dealing with His covenant people by way of His faithfulness as well as His correction. God is faithful. The Church plays a key role in this theodrama. We spend some solid time in coordinated portions of Zechariah and Ezekiel.
A teaching contrary to the full context of the plan of God, infiltrating the Church to undermine the commitment of God to the currently wayward but still loved covenant people of Israel, sets a stage for failure, correction, and even judgment as the plan of God plays out in these current and upcoming days.
Replacement Theology is a popular doctrine in many churches. Is it biblically accurate, or is it untrue, and if untrue, dangerous? What does the word of God say about Israel and the Jewish people during New Testament times, and especially during the upcoming days as things heat up for the world? What does God expect of His Church in these days in regards to the Jewish people and their troubles and challenges, as He deals with them? Critical times. Critical questions.
Intro to new study: Timing is both natural and supernatural, framing the order of events in us, for us, and through us - that the people of God might be most effective and successful in the purposes of heaven, particularly in these days and times.
The conclusion of this age is powerful, glorious, redemptive, challenging and befitting a King born in a manger, ministering and then slaughtered as the Lamb of God, soon returning in power as the Lion of God to vindicate and rescue His people. The anointed saints on earth participate in the final salvation call to whosoever will respond.
Seemingly weekly interruptive events on earth only confirm the prophecies of our times. Sovereign God calls His saints to holiness and spirit infilling so that we might be His salt and light, offering salvation to whosoever will respond and who desires to be saved. Having done all, we stand.
Assassinations, both committed and attempted, exemplify the violence of man'kind'. Jesus responding to His cousin John's murder, and David responding to Saul's death - even after Saul's failed attempt on David's life - model holy-response by true men of God. This progressively more evil season requires and warrants saints reacting and acting as redeemed people who know and live for the righteous King of the Universe.
God's great faithfulness to His beloved and chosen Israel is both the hope and the challenge for the praying saints of God in these times. We take assurance in His absolute resolve to complete what He has begun both in Israel, and in the Church. And we are called to be the model to the world, both to Jew and Gentile alike, that the people of God serve a holy and righteous King.
The outpouring already in these times and increasing in upcoming days will showcase the glory of God in events, situations, signs and wonders. Our lives, in His timing and purposes, will be one of the great signs to a shaking world, including to the covenant Jewish people, of the glory of God. We touch just lightly on Jacob's Trouble. More on that later..
The faithfulness of God centers around His first covenant people - Israel (as well as the Church). 'Till All Is Fulfilled' speaks to this entire Age, including right now and the challenging days upcoming - days in which God's word will be attacked, distorted and/or minimized - yet it will stand. We look into the Deuteronomy Horeb/Moab covenant as well as prophetic words in Ezekiel spoken to THE LAND itself: Israel - which has its own prophetic destiny that will be fulfilled, regardless of the warfare against that fulfillment.
God's plan for the world is laid out in scripture, purposely cryptically. Some mysteries have been revealed already (ex: the Gentile Church) while many mysteries await fulfillment in the future. Believers, as 'living epistles' play a special role in the plan, including in the salvation of others. Our walks of faith, our lifestyle investment in knowing God, is intended for His glory and for our success.
This new study's title is based upon our Lord's (Matt 5:17) declaration and assurance that everything in the word of God will be fulfilled, down to the last detail. THAT is a huge prophetic clue to understanding and identifying what must occur between now and the Lord's dramatic return. The Lord wants His saints to be equipped, informed and successful in our knowledge of Him. This in-depth study is intended to enlighten, encourage and draw us into the fullness of potential for His glory to be revealed in and through us. We begin with some functional groundwork that will continue for several sessions.
Forward in Christ:
Our great opportunity and high call to be walking in fullness, for His glory, right now during the shaking days.
Succeeding in God’s will by way of an intentional and daily Spirit-filled life.
Recognizing and embracing both the opportunity and eternal value to be living for the Lord in these climactic days.
The writer of Hebrews exhorts us all to understand and embrace what was foretold by the prophet Haggai 520 years earlier - so that the New Testament believers might prioritize the condition of their holy walks with the Lord. Spirit infilling positions us to hear God most clearly. The accountability and the stakes are highest now - along with the potential for great exploits in the will of God.
And we look into what Jesus told us as signs of these times....
Israel bombs Iran (some brief thoughts) - and also the timing of God re a planned, 'seemingly unrelated' event in Israel - reminding us of God's complete control over all things. I believe there's a sovereign sign similar to October 7, 2023. God is jealous for His covenant people and His covenant Land. They are set aside for holiness and that is non-negotiable. And we're reminded again of our calling in these critical days.
The miraculous and mysterious plan of God has much to soon be revealed, and those who know the Lord in these dramatic and shaking days are invited and summoned to both prepare and cry out for the greatest outpouring the world has ever seen. Joel 2. Acts 2. Zechariah 10.
Hebrews 11:39-40
39 And all these, having obtained a good testimony through faith, did not receive the promise, 40 God having provided something better for us, that they should not be made perfect apart from us.
THE INVITATION: Psalm 24:9Lift up your heads, O you gates! Lift up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in.THE QUESTION: Will you lift up your head, as invited/instructed, so that the King of glory might come into this troubled world, through you?THE TRUTH AND OUR PURPOSE: This is why we are here for such a time as this.
Faith: The substance of things hoped for. And that kind of faith is indeed evidence of the unseen. The true genesis of our faith wants to come from God. His will be done. He has spoken and still speaks in many more ways than just our seeing. Then we can stand on that faith. That is our alignment with true supernatural success.
Our God has great plans for salvation. This 20-minute testimony is about one man and his encounter with the one true God.
The message of Hebrews: moving forward, together with one another, in God. And meanwhile we look into the extreme challenges at the closure of this age and see stumbling, falling, and worse. And then there's the God of the Impossible who moves in our midst and can restore and set in place the fallen, and straighten out that which is crooked and broken. His people will be volunteers in the day of His power (Ps 110:3).
The price paid by our Lord, the Perfect Lamb of God, during the Passover Crucifixion, will include a final salvation awakening for the remnant of Israel. Perfectly timed: Our progressive study taking us to Hebrews Chapter 10, on Erev Passover, notably also a Shabbat this year.
Our formula for success in a shaking world is intimacy and obedience and our understanding of the fullness of our forgiveness. Our anointing and calling into the supernatural order of volunteer priests was and remains in place by the price paid once for all, by our Savior. God made Him a body to sacrifice for us.
Setting our affections on things above, with our eyes on our Savior. Inclining our hearts to His will during our time on earth. Living daily with that eternal perspective: the formula for our success and our reward.
So very much was supernaturally accomplished by our Lord's willingness to pay the price for us all. The intimate access, the prophetic potential, our position as sons and daughters and priests, and the accountability - we're called into it all. We want it all. We need it all. The world needs us walking in it all.
Romans 8:19 ……the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.
A supernatural business trip confirms the Hebrews chapter 8 'main point of the things we are saying': our High Priest paved a way and has opened a door to intimacy and knowledge of the plans and purposes of heaven, via Holy Spirit infusion and indwelling of His saints. These times, these days, His purposes. Glory.
Hebrews week 11 takes us to points to our very own life journeys in these critical days - so that we might think, pray and live in alignment with the supernatural eternal reality our High Priest Jesus now provides for us, as the veil was torn between earth and heaven. The priestly order of Melchizedek.
Hebrews week 10
Along with the salvation of many who have never known God, we’re also told:
‘And some of those of understanding shall fall, to refine them, purify them, and make them white, until the time of the end; because it is still for the appointed time.’ Daniel 11:35
In the times that are upon us the faithful. word-filled and Spirit-led people of God are called and anointed to understand and expect the mercies of heaven in both new salvations and also restorations of many fallen ones, as the army of God is assembled and even reassembled.
The praying saints on earth - hearing the daily words of heaven - are purposed to both model and proclaim hope to a lost and dying world, shaken by increasingly more troubling events prior to the Lord's return.
Setting our sights into the supernatural: We're called to a priesthood far more supernatural than that of Levi. David prophesies Messiah Jesus as being of the supernatural order of Melchizedek (Ps 110:4). What does that mean for us? What is available to us? What has been purposed for us?
Hebrews session 07 - mostly chapter 4 + bunny trails. Isaiah etc.
As the shaking work continues the supernatural rest of God remains available to the saints who prayerfully remain in the will of a God who tells us this: Isaiah 66:14-16
14 When you see this, your heart shall rejoice,
And your bones shall flourish like grass;
The hand of the LORD shall be known to His servants,
And His indignation to His enemies."
You can read on - Isaiah 66 will not be annulled. And the Lord will have His way among His people. And He invites everyone to be His people. Whosoever will. Yes Lord.
Our most timely position in our progressive Hebrews study - declaring "Today if you will hear My voice" - 100% cries out for the saints - right now - to hear the voice of God as He speaks loudly in these troublesome days - calling the world to attention and repentance and salvation. How do the saints respond? What are the saints to do? The word God has a perfect plan.
The potential of hearing God accurately is enormous, as is the jeopardy of failing to hear, or worse yet, assuming or pretending to be hearing Him. In active times like these, God's desire has always been to be speaking to, and through, His people. There's things we can do to be hearing heaven.
The God who spoke the world into existence continues to speak to those who will to hear His fresh voice each day - and that is spectacular - and in fact key to our ongoing successful and effective walks with the Lord during these times.
Hebrews 3:7
7 Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says:
“Today, if you will hear His voice,
Our Savior is temporarily made lower than the angels to redeem us and to take back what was turned over to our Adversary by the fall of sinful man - truly a supernatural plan for full redemption and our return to sonship.
The dark assault against anything godly includes active resistance against the giving of thanks to the one and only God - who is worthy of praise and will be praised forever, both by men and angels. Our understanding and recognition of this truth, particularly in the days of trouble in which we find ourselves, will contribute mightily to our success and His glory.
The greater glory of this greater age: a revealed Savior, ministering angels, a rich salvation inheritance and reward - are all in place for our success The supernatural ball is clearly in our court, in His will. Yes, these will be intense times - times during which our intentionality to hear and do the will of God will determine much.
We begin our study of the book of Hebrews, considering both its timing and also its timeliness. Speaking of timing - we first look a bit into the U.S. Election and also the Amsterdam attack on Israelis. Believers on earth in these days are called to an awareness of both the whats and whens of these times. There is challenge. There is divine purpose.
This final session reviews the critical message of Paul to the same church that God writes to in the book of Revelation - as our God works to set things in order for the saints to succeed during all times - from the first to final century of this age. Paul lays out the glory of our redemption, the mystery of the Gentile inclusion, and the critical purpose of a Spirit-infused life, for our success.
The extreme priority of healthy and restored interpersonal relationships - to heal people, heal the Church - and to avoid a curse of sin embedded in the covenant of God - all this and more is addressed as we look into prophecies and admonitions throughout both testaments. God wants His people healed. We have a part to play. He has a part He will play. It is time. Malachi 4:5-6.
Line upon line, precept upon precept. God's plans for the conclusion of this Age include us - in the Spirit, in obedience, accomplishing His divine purposes in His perfect order.
We begin chapter 5 where Paul, knowing the prophecy of scripture, looks ahead to evil days and instructs the readers how to functionally as well as faithfully live in order to succeed. This theme of challenging times and successful living permeates ALL of scripture and meanwhile here in chapters 5 and 6 are key components to our success. We'll be here again next week. It's that important, and Paul's formula for success is both timeless and also most timely for us, in these most challenging days.
We go deeper into the call upon each member of the Church in these critical days. Walking in the Holy Spirit will be our place of success - walking in the will and timing and purposes of God - as He shakes the world mightily.
The plan of heaven has always been for the Church to be moving in the power of the Holy Spirit, equipped for service and great works. The days ahead deserve and will require the saints to be saying yes to the unfettered will of a supernatural God who has always intended us to walk in that fullness.
A mystery no longer: The ingathering of the Gentile saints into the Kingdom of God - planned beforehand and revealed now - to proclaim His manifold greatness. Jew and Gentile together. Powerful times to be alive in, and for, our coming King.
The work of redemption in our individual lives readies us for the incoming revival work of salvation as the Lord shakes heaven and earth.
The magical mystery tour of Spirit-led life - daily discovering how God can both sovereignly work among men and at the same time provide us with a free will to say yes or no - transcends our human logic and sparks awareness of His supernatural orchestration of coordinated incidents (aka: 'coincidences'). We look into a small sampling of biblical revelations that confirm this truth and can prepare us for our own supernatural experiences, for His glory. Nations rage. Philosophers and prognosticators speculate. Available to all who would say 'yes': the mind of Christ.
Paul begins his Ephesians letter stating something that has polarized opinions in the Church, while in supernatural-reality it is intended to draw us personally into the sovereignty of God so that we might walk in His 'supernaturalness'. Just ask Alice: about free will and predestination. A testimony of a miracle only God could orchestrate.
The deep and thorough salvation work of our Lord was and is to sanctify us for the purpose of being the "ark" (container) of the Holy Spirit on earth during these critical days. Lift up your heads oh you gates and the King of glory will come in. That is our calling.
The marriage of the Lamb to the holy Church will be compatible! The covenant commitment of God to His people requires holiness, and the Holy Spirit outpouring opens the door to us living and walking in a level of holiness only supernaturally achieved, for His glory, for the successful salvation of ourselves AND for the salvation for others.
The supernatural purposes of God, timelessly established within covenant, and within covenant-relationship - are divinely intended for fulfillment, and for display to a lost and troubled world, by the Spirit-filled and Spirit-led people of God on earth during these days.
We begin this series distinguishing Covenant from Contract. The potential, the weight and enormity of covenant relationship with God draws us into a place of understanding not only how (1) God operates, but (2) who He is. Both are critical to our success in these challenging and glorious times. Jeremiah 9:24-26.
This one-hour+ session is an attempt to recap the entire 9 month series, from August 2023 through last week. Time does not permit us to get into much detail from each session but this audio 'highlight reel' provides solid overview and establishes a straight-line analysis of the whats, the whens and the whys of the course of His prophetic plans, His sovereignty and His victory over the raging nations, the intent being to refine, perfect and deliver His people, so that we are prepared to rule and reign with Him upon His return.
The powerful conclusion of a powerful and timely prophetic book. Chapter 12. The now-old and always-faithful prophet is assured of his great reward. The words at that time were to be sealed til the end. And now here we are - with much unsealed, and some to be revealed in its time. We consider some prophetic possibilities.
Psalms 72:18 (NKJV)
18 Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel,
Who only does wondrous things!
The purposeful 'prophetic ambiguities' of our great God provide us with with confirmation, revelation and expectation - inviting us in these most challenging days of fulfillment to press into greater intimacy for alignment and success in His dramatic and glorious plans and His will. Yes Lord.
Chapter 11 confirms the prophet's writings - predicting (in HIS future and in OUR past) the machinations of corrupt nations, including the troubles of covenant Israel. That proven-perfect predictability will take us into the upcoming season of trouble on earth, providing us the faith and assurance our God reigns through it all.
The book of Daniel's historically fact-checkable prophetic accuracy - notably Chapter 11 and forward - points precisely to the days in which we're living, and the most critical days ahead.
Passover, from its introduction by God to Moses, comes with a "for all generations" and "everlasting ordinance" non-expiration date. Ezekiel 45 reveals Passover observance during the Millennium. I believe it's an ordinance and an invitation to an impartation of faith - faith that will be greatly desired during upcoming challenging times. Meanwhile the participating Church will be standing beside beloved Israel in observance, to encourage, love on and even provoke Israel to a place of understanding of God's faithfulness as well as presence.
We spend time addressing the natural occurrences as well as the supernatural happenings in our world, learning by Daniel's example how to walk successfully with a God who is intent on performing His holy purposes on earth, always centered around His covenant people Israel. There's reflection back into chapters 7 and 8, looking into chapter 11 and considering our place in the plan of God, in these most critical times.
As the current most critical days unfold and prophecies come to light, also coming to light are differing prayerful opinions and timing calculations that can frazzle us a bit. We look into some encouraging situations where godly men, students of scripture, work to convey the marvelous plan of our great God. And through it all, our eyes always on Him remains our success.
Numbers 19 is the one biblical chapter addressing an acceptable cleansing method where the burnt remains of a perfect red heifer is specified. What might this have to do with Easter and Passover 2024 and Hamas? Why has Hamas cited their concerns about red heifers as being one provocation for their October 7 invasion?
Meanwhile #1: The saints understand the one and only cleansing means for all of mankind is our crucified Lord.
Meanwhile #2: The nations rage, and what is prophesied as being in place prior to the Lord's return will eventually be in place in the Lord's time. Our eyes are on Him.
The prophet Daniel, mature, sober, on fire for God in his senior years, demonstrates for us all potential of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Our Lord's Church, on earth during these most critical times, is invited into, anointed for, and accountable to represent God well and powerfully, to a desperate and shaking world.
Daniel determines there's more for him from God, and his choice to be pressing in models for us the unlimited glory available. Another angelic encounter assures us of our own invitation and ability to encounter God in these most critical days.
Differing scripture-based opinions/interpretations of the controversial Dan 9:24-27 verses may well be part of THE divine plan to draw us into true Spirit living - for our success and our intimacy with our Lord. We conclude Daniel 9.
More than one source of writings has cited "weeks" as being more accurately translated as "sevens" in Hebrew. Seventy "sevens". That opens a door to prayerful consideration of a perhaps different timing interpretation that, IF ACCURATE, could set the world up from some surprises. We're invited to prayerfully consider those writings, from St Jerome in AD 400 to current writers. MOST IMPORTANTLY - this teacher is convinced the divinely intentional prophetic ambiguity has been purposed to drive and draw us into a greater Spirit-filled/Spirit-led and holy life - which is biblically inarguable.
Faithful and beloved Daniel receives angelic revelation for him and for all of mankind. WHAT and HOW our great God chooses to speak to Daniel and to all who would care to press into understanding – these four often-disputed verses are spoken by the angel Gabriel to inform, revelate, equip and at the same time mystify us – all for divine purpose.. We’ll be in these verses next session as well, considering some of the mystery surrounding wording and timing of events in history that are worthy of discussion and consideration.
The mysteries of God - including prophecies of the Word (ex: Dan 9:24-27) are divinely intended to require a surrendered, Spirit-filled life. By His grace, we can believe to accomplish the great exploits we're being invited as well as called into both now and in the upcoming days. For His glory.
Critical and ongoing revelation from heaven, by way of Holy Spirit infilling, can assure success in our walks and our lives during these challenging days. "Having done all, to stand..." points us to desiring and positioning ourselves for everything God has intended for us to walk in. We're called to be gates for the supernatural here on earth.
Intensifying situations on earth draw us and also drive us into Holy Spirit intimacy, and it is in that place that we will be best equipped to successfully discern the prophetic plans of God. The controversial 70-week prophecy of Daniel 9 is a perfect launchpad for us to consider the call of God upon praying saints to be filled with the Spirit of God so that we might know the mind of God, as it is revealed to us, as promised.
The critical 70-Week Prophecy is revealed to Daniel by the angel Gabriel. It is one of the most profound portions of eschatological revelation in the bible. The prophet and his sober and honest prayer to God positions us for our own holy success in these challenging days of both trial and glory.
The timing of God for His release of understanding, the unsealing of awaiting prophecies and the promised end-days outpouring all point to great opportunity and great accountability for the people of God.
Daniel's own second vision is so profound it leaves him ill for a while. Angelic messengers explain to him (and to us) the symbolism of demonic realms that will war against God and His people until the end of the age, when the Ancient of Days is seated in place and the books are opened.
Daniel is grieved and troubled at the vision he personally receives. The prophet asks an angelic guide about four beasts he's just been shown, particularly the most terrible fourth beast out of which 10 horns, and then a smaller horn, appear.
Daniel Chapter 9 is Daniel's own prayer for a troubled Israel. Troubles (70-year national captivity) back THEN were different from Israel's troubles (attacks and captivity) RIGHT NOW - but his prayer remains soberly accurate and pertinent in that God's covenant nation is still dealing with much of the same spiritually rebellious climate. Daniel the prophet cries out for God's mercy, as we should, for Israel, in these days. And we read chapter 6: Daniel facing the lions (in his faithful stance) and finding deliverance in his faithful God.
The conflict in the Middle East is ongoing, and is in accordance with biblical prophecy. The covenant nation of Israel needs something very specific and critical to its survival and its success. The saints are to be praying for that to occur. It's a truth of scripture. Rabbi Paul speaks of it, and we know it. The saints are purposely here on earth, and anointed to proclaim that truth.
Daniel is called into a godless and idolatrous banquet to interpret a supernatural omen written to a sinful ruler and his empire, on the night of their invasion and collapse. Our God sets kingdoms up and takes kingdoms down.
Daniel both reveals and then interprets what is often referred to as "the mother of all prophecy" - Nebuchadnezzar's frightening dream about empire conquering empire conquering empire - taking us from ancient Babylon through the end of the age in which we are living. There's been misconceptions and speculative assumptions, and meanwhile history has been catching up to biblical context - pointing to the "difference" of the "empire" identified as the final-battle enemy of God's people and of God's purposes.
Prior to reading chapter 1, we spend more time discussing the book itself - its critical position in the plan of God, its prophetic significance, the demonic resistance and accusations against the validity of the book, and the divine plan of God to transform His people (the readers) by way of opening the book to us. Then we get into and through chapter 1 to learn the character of Daniel and his friends, and the character of their captor nation, Babylon.
We begin a study into one of the most revelatory though challenging books of the bible. It is particularly timely in these days. We lay part of the foundation for this study, addressing not only the book but also the man named Daniel, who lived well and finished well, being greatly beloved in the heavenly realms and therefore entrusted with prophetic revelation that has been 100% accurate up to these times, and will be accurate going forward in the plans of God.
As the nations continue to rage against holiness, walking in the increasing darkness of deception - we find ourselves called to higher levels of understanding of the critical component of Truth. It comes down to one or the other.
And we know that the One who declared "I am the Way the Truth and The Life" will return for those walking according to the truths of heaven.
We wrap up a multi-week study re the power-purpose of the Pentecost Outpouring on the Church, and begin a study on Truth - the very nature of everything that is God, an understanding that will help keep us on critical course during these days of deceit.
We're told to rise and shine as darkness covers the earth (Isa 60:1 and on). In the Spirit and with the Word we can live victoriously and for the glory of our faithful God.
What is prophesied will occur on earth (and in the heavenlies) in these days. As a spiritually unaware world is being uncomfortably shaken to attention by events and calamity, we look into what we're told will be the spiritual climate during the shaking days - so that we might be prepared and successful in the Lord's will.
The scriptures, by instruction, by examples even from the earliest times, and by prophetic declaration, point to the saints determining, by God's grace, to only live in the fullness of Spirit-filled, Spirit-led life.
God's purpose for supernatural signs and wonders is both to direct and alert the people of God, and to awaken a lost world to the salvation plan of a soon and coming King. The Holy Spirit outpouring was, is and will be accompanied by signs and wonders.
The priority of the our Lord's Pentecost Outpouring Plan is that the Spirit-filled and Spirit-led saints are living, breathing and walking in Spirit-led awareness and effectiveness during the most critical days of this Age.
Peter gets filled with the Holy Spirit and immediately declares the prophetic-fuse of Joel 2 getting lit.
Later, Rabbi Paul tells us he spoke in tongues "more than you all" and references Nebuchadnezzar sent by God as a sign of Kingdom-purpose invasion. What are we to do with that, as Spirit-filled saints?
Paul quotes Isaiah 28 to reveal the critical prophetic fulfillment of the Holy Spirit anointing associated with prayer in tongues. The plan of God was and is for a Church to be walking in the fullness of the power of heaven for the purposes of Kingdom success on earth.

Once our Lord has returned for His people, a thousand year period begins - while He is ruling and reigning from His temple in Jerusalem. It is the 7th "day" of the history of man on earth. Much changes for the good and for the holy. There's things for us to learn from the scriptures - Revelation, Ezekiel and elsewhere. This mini-study offers us some insight into the perfect plans of perfect-God. Some of this might surprise you. All of it is purposed to bless you.
We circle all the way back to Ezekiel 38 and 39 - where we began last September, NOW with the understanding of WHO the prominent players are in the theodrama of the conclusion of this Age, and WHERE and WHY and for the most part WHEN these prophecies will play out, and WHAT the saints are called into, for the glory of God and for our success and reward.
Paul and Peter confirm the Lord's success-strategy for our own lives and the lives around us during the most trying times. Our 18-session study has enlightened us to critical components of this season and we're assured of success according to the will and plans and timing of God - Who is pouring out His Spirit in these dark times to save souls.
Soberly connecting the timing and promises of some tough prophetic scripture - Life and Hope will not be lost for Israel. Jacob's Trouble will conclude with a supernatural break-in by a merciful God, resurrecting His covenant people from death, triumphing over hopelessness and despair.

A 2,000 year fuse was lit at the Upper Room. It was and remains the ignition event for the Final Outpouring on earth. As the world is shaken by our faithful God the saints are called and invited into the great redemptive work of redemption, revival and repentance unto salvation.
We look again into the uncomfortable times of Jacob's Trouble and consider some varying opinion about other people's opinion on the topic. Critical to the close of this Age and the return of our Lord is the alignment of all the people of God with the plans of God. Outpouring requires alignment for effectiveness.
We necessarily break into "Dry Bones - Part One" (our previous session) to press into Jer 30 and the critical time of Jacob's Trouble. It should call come together as a clear and cohesive understanding of both Jeremiah 30-32, the Dry Bones prophecy, and Ezekiel 38-39 - the conclusion of the Age. God's plans are superb, stunning, purposeful, holy. The plan will take us back to "Dry Bones - Part Two", shortly.
Supernaturally transported to a valley of dry bones, the prophet is asked an impossible question by the God of the impossible. That question is about the resurrection of Israel, and when. That very same God is preparing us for the greatest upcoming days of supernatural events because He is faithful to His people.
Ezekiel 36 is pretty amazing - and before we get to that amazing chapter we dig into just a bit (more forthcoming in later weeks) of the profound plan and purpose of the upcoming (Jer 30) Jacob's Trouble. We look into what the prophet is instructed to prophecy - to the physical ground of the land of Israel! God means what He says and raises His hand in an oath - what He says He will accomplish.
We recap a bit of where we've been in this study journey to see where we are (now, on earth) and to better understand what the Lord is doing in these and coming days. All the nations will know Who is orchestrating what, for His divine purposes – both Jew and Gentile alike. God will deal with each and every people group, as promised and as necessary, to effectuate His good purposes. And we, the saints, are called into these days as participants, volunteers, and servants of the King.
From our understanding of Antichrist/Gog and then our God's great victory, we backtrack mostly into earlier chapters of Ezekiel to learn what our Lord prophetically tells us will necessarily occur prior to those tumultuous days - to prepare His people and our hearts for the plans of heaven to be accomplished.

Gog - aka the Anti-Christ - is brought into Israel for the final defeat of the enormous global army raging against Him (and also raging against Israel, His wayward covenant people to whom He remains faithful). The victory of the King of Kings clarifies it all: the Jewish people then understand who is their God as well as why they've suffered so much trouble over the millennia. The nations finally understand they had been utilized by a righteous God for His righteous purposes. God is glorified in all people who will come to this now obvious revelation and serve Him.
The identification of the Anti-Christ and his hordes is evident, thanks to scripture. The "difference" of fourth beast of Daniel's chapter 7 vision is understood, and we as believers can rest in the knowing of Who is doing what, and when, and where, and even why. God is fully sovereign and in control.
The "prophetic signposts" pointing us to what is to occur in the "latter days" of this age, we lay hold of some clear and wise understanding of biblical prophecies as well as our position and potential in these turbulent days, as representatives of the soon and coming King Of Glory.
Pressing in to the scriptures of the Lord, and even the history of those scriptures, we come to sober understanding and opinion re the dramatic conclusion of this age and the leader of the dark final charge - for both (a.) our own success and (b.) the salvation of others. The upcoming days are not easy days, but they have been foretold us by prophets of our great God, Who has things firmly under control. By Numbers 24, Balaam has dramatically and even painfully encountered the true God of Israel. For this moment he sees to speak an oracle of heaven re the Savior, the conclusion of the Age, and the Anti-Christ, aka Gog.
Our journey towards Ezekiel's prophesies concerning Gog as Antichrist take us deeper into an understanding of who can or cannot curse the people of our God. There's lots for us to learn re the critical nature of the prophetic realm and the ministry of prophecy - to equip us for the days ahead as our God pours out His spirit on His people for His purposes, only.

Paul speaks to the blessing, challenge and even command for the Church to be walking in active and purposeful unity through love and forgiveness. It's part of our call to holiness - critical and necessary for us to be postured for spiritual success in these days, as well as for full reward in His presence.
Fully qualified by the cross, we're now called to the place of voluntary surrender - so that the work of the Holy Spirit IN and THROUGH us can maximize our potential to participate in the global work of glory prophesied for these final days prior to our Lord's glorious and dramatic return.
Worthy of our understanding - we spend additional time recognizing the profound and always-planned call to the Gentile nations to comprise the significant population of the family of God both now and in the upcoming Age. Our father Abraham: father of many nations.
Our God's eternal plan for a Church of purity, power and authority will prevail, triumphing over weak theology and religiosity. And it will include both Jewish and Gentile believers as the plan of heaven plays out in our times.
A profound revelation of the eternal plans of God for salvation for both Jew and Gentile - and rabbi Paul proclaims the mystery to converted pagans in a city turned upside down by the power of God.
We conclude our study of 2 Peter. Our Lord's return is THE eschatological and proverbial elephant in the room. If the rabbis and other serious Hebraic calendar-keepers are correct (I believe they are in this instance), we're to be the vocal, active, submitted, holy people proclaiming His imminent return. Meanwhile, our ongoing times in the word will never not address His glorious return.
Peter admonishes the people of God to "know this FIRST" - know this "PROTO" (Primary and Preeminent) Truth: the increasing campaign of deception, lies and wickedness on earth will indeed rage against the truth of the return plans of Messiah. Meanwhile we have the wholeness of scripture for our encouragement and success.
Truth: The shaking work on earth in these days is as per the word of the Lord - purposed for the salvation of souls. Saints speaking understanding and declaring that truth in love is the hope of the world. Ignoring, denying, or manipulating that truth is robbery. Peter warns us re false and deceptive teaching. Meanwhile the saints are invited and instructed to call out to the Lord for the outpouring He's promised. Ask the Lord for rain in the time of latter rain. Zech 10:1.
Not a lot of actual 2 Peter text this AM - yet there's indisputable relevance to the work of evil on earth in these conclusive days - as our great God deals with a covenant breaking nation in our devolving world. The call to the people of God is sobering and challenging, as the global shaking increases. Prophets and saints better be telling the whole story, and only the true story. Meanwhile the scriptures tell the story to us so that we might be fully equipped for the great exploits.
Intent that the saints make it to the Finish Line of Faith, Peter admonishes us to diligence. And we begin our journey into sober and accurate biblical consideration of the most critical upcoming events - the radical, loud, global and glorious return of our Lord to call forth His people. Since this epistle aims to warn the saints of the increasing propagation of false and doctrines that will find their way into Church as things heat up, we begin our pre-emptive study of the biblical prophetic account.
Peter's second letter is powerful in its laying out the the glorious Procedure and Provision for our absolute success, at the same raising the prophetic warning flag re the assault of deception within the Church.
Judgment begins at the house of God, for cleansing and preparation necessary for the prophesied outpouring - especially in these critical and climactic days. Each part, each generation, has always been intended to be doing its share, in humility and love, attaining to the measure of the stature of the fullness of God.
The perfect timing of God had Jesus riding into Jerusalem on the one and only day that was prophetically purposed. That perfect-timing potential assures successful great exploits to the Spirit-led/Spirit-submitted/Spirit-obedient saints of God as we press in during these great, though challenging, times. Happy Passover. Blessed Easter. He is risen. He will return for His Bride.
These days in particular are pointed to, throughout both testaments, as the most trying of times - and we're called and therefore enabled to walk in the authority that comes with an anointing for holiness. We are assured even in the final judgments on earth our God knows who is His, and He will PassOver us.
We address the critical prophetic nature of Passover, the significance of the crucifixion timing, the invitation to us to grow in our own faith for future success during the most troubling times, and we look into some scriptures that have had lots of varying opinions re our Lord's activity in the place of the dead.
We address the victory of Jesus over death, His bodily resurrection and ours (as promised) the work of our Lord in Sheol, and some of the clearly described components of His return to earth for His saints.
The supernatural work accomplished on the cross, as well as Jesus' demonstration of victory over physical death, made and continues to make a way for us to walk in the footsteps of our risen Savior, for His glory, There's resurrection power and eternal purpose to our very existence, each and every day and then into eternity.
Having himself been transformed in the Upper Room, Spirit-infused Peter writes of an intimacy in knowing the dynamic will of God, available for all people of God. Whosoever will. And that kind of Spirit-led life will assure our success in the trying times ahead.
The plan of God involves His redeemed people being anointed and equipped for supernatural success in His sovereign plans - during the most troublesome and challenging days on earth. And here we are.
Our relationships on earth and our determination to be Spirit-filled, Spirit-directed and Spirit obedient in those relationships, are divinely intended to glorify God and lead others to the Savior, as they witness and experience His light in us. The opportunity offered to us to invade the darkness with the light of the Kingdom is enormous, and not to be missed. It's one huge purpose why we're here during these times.
One (spectacular) divine purpose for us being on earth in these dark days is to shine more brightly now than ever, so that the nations would come to the brightness of His glory that was intentionally revealed upon us. He shakes heaven and earth and meanwhile, by His grace, we stand firm, as lights, in Him and in His will.
The word of the Lord enduring forever, while everything else is purposely and divinely shaking - is confirming and will confirm the unshakability of that which is eternal. This has massive significance for the praying saints on earth, now, for the divine purposes of heaven to be fulfilled.
We look into the "I AM" story - the NOW-NESS of our God who's intent and desire is to be with us always, right now, calling us to holiness so that we might walk in the safety and success of intimacy with Him.
Peter's two epistles are particularly timely in that they reveal to us a divine formula for successful holy living and holy attitude at all times, especially critical during the increasingly more tumultuous yet spiritually opportune times in which are find ourselves.
The beginning of wisdom is the fear of the Lord.
Isaiah tells us the fear of the Lord is His treasure.
Isaiah 33:6 6 Wisdom and knowledge will be the stability of your times, And the strength of salvation; The fear of the LORD is His treasure.
We'll do well embracing that eternal truth.
It's all written for our benefit and admonition, upon whom the end of the ages has come (says Paul in Corinthians chapter 10)
The people had become discouraged, disappointed and distracted. They had lost focus on the priorities of heaven. God in His mercy confronts them and speaks to them, AND THEY LISTEN!!! And the glory of God appears in their midst, and their is true, holy breakthroughs to succeed during trying times.

Our great and awesome God has overtaken us with salvation. The prophets wrote to us to inspire us to finish well, amidst the upcoming most troubling times ever. And the finish, the conclusion of this age, is nothing short of spectacular for the faithful. Our Savior will sing over us, comfort and refresh us, at that time of celebration. As the old hymnist wrote: “It will be worth it all when we see Jesus...”
Again we consider the purposes and plans of God both for His people and for His adversaries. It's a call to surrender and holiness, and also a call to call others to that one and only place of success.
We spend time in both testaments to confirm the storyline of God's revealed end-of-age plan, never once forgetting or minimizing the glory of His return and His promises to the faithful, and meanwhile not minimizing or worse yet ignoring that which the Lord wants us to know in advance, for our preparation and success.
We’re into the sobering book of Zephaniah, who prophesied during the days of Josiah, foreseeing the temporary revival during that good king’s reign, but also foreseeing the necessary upcoming captivity/judgment of God upon Israel for its failure to follow through to sustained holiness, and then prophetically looking forward to the conclusion of this age when our Lord returns to restore things into the perfect harmony of God. And here we find ourselves, awaiting our Lord’s return, during the as-prophesied most turbulent times ever.
Daniel is told some final mysteries. He's invited to rest. We're invited into the great exploits of these critical days, prepared with an understanding of what is ahead.
Daniel is told to seal things up until the time of the end – the time in which we are living.
He is assured that he will rest and then, along with us and with all whose names are in the book of life, will be called up to rule and reign with His Savior, with our Savior. There will be trouble, there will be great days. And there will be grace. We do not conclude the Daniel study this week. But we’re oh so close.
Our call to safety and success involves understanding our adversary ("satan" means "adversary), so that we might identify him - meanwhile and most importantly understanding our call to safety in our daily surrender to our Savior's will for our lives.
We go deeper into the at-this-time-fulfilled history of the early anti-christ Antiochus Epiphanes and then look into the transition of prophetic revelation towards THE anti-christ about whom both our Lord spoke, and Daniel spoke, so that we might know the revealed plans of our Lord as well as the plans of our enemy. Purpose? That we might be effective as his people of great exploits during the challenging times of great outpourings amidst great shakings on earth. Haggai 2:6-7. The "Desire of the nations" is our Savior, and we are the messengers of that message.
