On episode 12, I review the Dodgers-Yankees series in Los Angeles. The Yankees took 2 out of 3, and I discuss three things of note from each game, along with my perception of the series as a whole. Listen in!
On episode 11, I discuss the lack of action that each front office took at the trade deadline, but why I don't think that's a bad thing. We're now two-thirds of the way done with the 2019 MLB season, and each team has the best record in their respective leagues. Listen in!
The Dodgers need bullpen help, and the Yankees need to strengthen their starting staff. Who should they trade for? I discuss 4-5 guys that each team should/probably already have been targeting. Listen in!

On episode 8, I bring up a unique idea that the Dodgers might want to consider later in the regular season: a 6-man starting rotation. However, the bullpen still needs to get upgraded. On the Yankees side, the bullpen is fine, but what should the starting rotation look like going forward? Should the Yankees sign Dallas Keuchel? In between, I recap the 1977, 1978, and 1981 World Series between the Dodgers and Yankees. Listen in!
Episode 7 is a light but long one--I give my player grades for each team, including collective grades for the starting pitching staffs and bullpens. Instead of a history segment, the middle of the show recaps the UCSB Gauchos' first Big West Conference title in 33 years over our rival Cal Poly, and my thankfulness for KCSB Sports throughout a great year in covering UCSB Athletics. On this long overdue episode 6, there's lots to discuss--including both teams being in first place in their respective divisions! On the Dodgers side, Hyun-Jin Ryu has a 31-inning scoreless streak, but the whole starting pitching staff has been phenomenal. Also, Alex Verdugo needs to play every day, not just most days. For the Yankees, Domingo German has been an ace in Luis Severino's absence, and Gio Urshela is, indeed, the most happy fella. I also pick my top 2 guys in the Cameron Maybin/Clint Frazier/Brett Gardner corner outfield battle and argue why I didn't like the Yankees' use of the opener today, 1 year to the day after its inception. The mid-show history segment is on the 3-way Dodgers-Yankees-Giants charity game to raise money for war bonds at the peak of WWII. Take a listen!
On episode 5 (sorry for being a day late!) we discuss 4 potential low-cost, low-risk trade targets to help out the Dodgers bullpen. On the Yankees half, some of the key guys are back in the lineup, but soon there won't be a spot for Miguel Andujar. Tune in!
On episode 4 we go over Clayton Kershaw's pleasantly surprising performance in his first 3 starts along with Cody Bellinger's historic start, leading almost every MLB hitting statistical category. On the Yankees side, Luke Voit comes off a great week and the fill-in guys lead the way to an 11-2 record the past 2 weeks. This week's history segment discusses Jackie Robinson's steal of home in the 1955 World Series against the Yankees--the profile picture for this podcast.

On episode 3, I argue that the Dodgers' 1-6 record this week is nothing to be worried about. On that note, I ask the question of whether LA's ace is Walker Buehler, Clayton Kershaw, or someone else. I end the show ranting about how terrible the Yankees' lineup is--the "AAA Yankees"--mainly due to injuries, but also poor performance and lineup decisions.
On episode 2, I talk about the Dodgers' bullpen issues and hot bats (particularly Cody Bellinger), the Yankees' reliance on the long ball, and how a telescope cost the Dodgers the 1951 National League pennant.
